One of my friends is a classical Batman fan (like the actual comics) and Im me so we have such a funny dynamic sometimes. He’ll finish telling me Black Canary’s backstory and like the plot of the Killing Joke and then I’ll respond with some shit like “Did you know Robin is a leprechaun from Babylon? He has an unfounded hate of the British and has a parasitic twin in his eye :)”

I love TTG but they have way too many episodes about their haters. One or two is fine, especially since it was such a big part of the initial reception. However, they have an episode all about it as recently as the 9th season (which was like all about calling the haters weirdos who don’t go outside and live in their mom’s basement.) Both of their movies are about the haters. Their stop motion special had Superman of all people being a hater. Basically every episode featuring Control Freak has him as a fill-in for the haters. I’m pretty sure the Wally-T episode (aka the one featuring a kid from the Make-A-Wish foundation) has hater-commentary elements. Some haters won’t let go obviously but the show shouldn’t keep stooping down to their level in my opinion
