Just finished Yellowjackets season 3 and I AM LOSING MY MIND!!! WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!!! Now I have so many more ideas for my fic so I'm gonna be working like crazy on it, I just finished making a cover and finishing up some stuff so the preview should be out soon and then later the first chapter! I AM FEELING SO FERAL RIGHT NOW

POLL RESULTS!

The title for my Yellowjackets fanfic is going to be Humble Bee! I'm very happy this won because this was my first title idea!!

The votes on the timeline layout were pretty close between two choices, but ultimately, separate timeline chapters won! Each episode of Yellowjackets will be split into two chapters for the teen timeline and the adult one. I'm excited about the separate chapters because it gives me ideas for how I can really build the suspense between them!

Thank you so much to everyone who voted in the polls, the input was extremely helpful for me to finalize some things and hopefully soon I'll be able to start putting out chapters!! I'm thinking of posting a teaser chapter first to build anticipation for the story and also give a small look at what's to come hehehe 😈 I can't wait to start posting Humble Bee!!!

I can't decide if I want to alternate the timelines in the same chapters like in the show, write both timelines as separate chapters, or do two different stories for each timeline like a part one and two, I'm not quite sure how I want to write everything out so I would like some help!

The story will be a crazy poly romance with endgame being Reader x Natalie x Travis. I haven't posted any chapters yet but I've been working on this fanfic for a few years and with season 3 being out (which I have not finished yet so please no spoilers!) I plan on finally fleshing it all out and start posting! I will be putting up a lot of polls to help decide exactly how I'm going to write it out so watch out for those!

Chapter 2

As soon as Two-Bit spotted Johnny walk in, he stepped over to throw an arm around his shoulder and that's when he got to see who this new person was.

Dallas had dark brown hair with maybe a bit too heavy a hand of grease that was combed back out of his boyish face and behind ears that stuck out like he hadn't quite grown into them yet. He had deep brown eyes that made him look mischievous and troublesome with eyebrows that were thick and wild and starting to grow together in the middle, the one on the right had been split near his temple and was steadily dripping blood down his face. His cheekbones were defined and shaped his face and he had a short nose that was a little crooked and had dried blood down passed his cocky smirk and onto his pointed chin. He had a lanky and awkwardly long build, like he was in the midst of a growth spurt, and he held his head high and kept his chest out like he was a force to be reckoned with. His white tank top and his faded blue jeans were covered in dirt and splotches of blood but nothing too serious just from a glance. His boots well worn and covered in rich brown dirt.

As Two-Bit stepped out of the one armed hug, Dallas had noticed him and his mouth dropped into a hard line and his eyebrows furrowed as his eyes had taken him in, sizing him up and holding his attention before it was quickly back on Mrs.Curtis with a shout as she pressed a damp rag against his cut eyebrow. The tension between them broken by Steve and Two-Bit's laughter. They let out immature school boy giggles as they told Johnny about how Dallas here had decided to try and cheat some young boys at the rodeo out of their spending money and when their much older brothers had found out they decided they wanted it back with interest and Dallas had laughed in their faces, starting a brawl he surprisingly finished all by himself against the two older boys. All the boys laughed when Two-Bit explained the dummy had been so happy about winning the fight that he forgot to get the money back.

Sodapop has a big smile on his handsome boyish face as he tells Johnny that Dallas had also given those boys what for by being pretty good with a slingshot while they tried to auction their horse off, making him laugh for the first time all week.

As Johnny stared into those dark brown eyes, he had a feeling that Dallas would be around a lot more and that their lives would never be the same.

CHAPTER 1

The first time Johnny Cade saw Dallas Winston, he walked into the Curtis household to see him bleeding out on the kitchen counter.

12 year old Johnny is on a walk on a bright Saturday afternoon, the summer sun is high in the sky and beating down as he makes his way to his friend Sodapop's house. He had met him at the beginning of the previous school year and had been introduced to Soda's best friend Steve and his friend Keith, whom they called Two-Bit since the kid never stopped cracking jokes, and eventually to his brothers Darrel and Ponyboy.

They all had a love for looking tuff, rough housing, and Mickey Mouse. Over the course of the school year they had all gotten really close and were a tight knit group, always hanging around the Curtis house after school and sharing chocolate cake and watching Mickey or hanging out at the park and causing a little chaos.

The summer for them so far had been lots of fun but unfortunately, Mr.Curtis had recently lost his job and they had fallen on hard times so they decided they had to sell Sodapop's horse, Mickey Mouse. He had him for two years and had placed in the top 3 of every barrel race they competed in together, Soda loved and cared for his horse like no other but he was just too expensive to keep taking care of.

That morning the whole Curtis family had headed down to the rodeo auction house to sell him. Sodapop had understandably been upset all week about losing Mickey, so the guys had gotten together and decided they would meet up at the house that afternoon to surprise him and keep him in good spirits. Johnny was a little late after some trouble at home had kept him for a while, but he had a pep in his step as he hurried on through the front gate, excited to spend time with his friends.

He had just stepped through the front door and he heard a couple of laughs that sounded like Two-Bit and maybe Steve and a shout of "Hold still Dallas!" that definitely came from Mrs.Curtis. As he stepped through the doorway he saw Two-Bit laughing louder as he jumped away from a dusty boot clad foot and then Johnny was staring into a bloody face he didn't recognize.

I'm back and not as sad as I was at 16 and I would like to dedicate my time to doing fun things like writing cliché romances and cringey self insert fanfics so I'm trying to get back into tumblr and also try and promote my stories and ideas a bit more so I will be motivated to write. I'll be posting the same things I post on Wattpad and try to keep both updated when I can, I currently only have one Outsiders fic posted that I just revamped with one updated chapter so far and I've been putting chapter two on the back burner while I work on my Yellowjackets and Cobra Kai stories that I'm still mapping out, but I will be posting it anyway and hopefully finish the next chapter soon lol
