Your new life as a vampire started shortly after turning eighteen years old, knowing you’d be stuck on that number forever, you wanted to make the best of it and bring good into this world.

However, because of the age you were at the time you had changed, it had you developing a mental trauma. A little while later, you started hunting down newborns, mostly teenager ones who couldn’t control themselves as you brutally kill them. It didn’t feel right in the beginning, but than you started seeing this more of a calling and what you were meant to do for the world. You believed you were doing a good deed for the world by making the streets a little safer to walk on day or night.

As you would hunt them down, you would turn it into a little game as a source of entertainment. At first, you start out by chasing them mockingly as you knew they were very much aware of your presence, which is followed by a hysteric and manic like laughter sprouting from your dead lungs. When it finally leads to the deadly encounter with you in dark alleyways, you take that opportunity to sneak up behind them and rip their heads from the rest of them before starting the fires. This activity unexpectedly begins to scare you a little, but fighting against the urge for a kill is stronger than your resistance as you continue doing so. You kept this up until after meeting your mate, Edward Cullen. Even the first little while of your relationship with Edward started off a bit rocky, as you both realize how mentally unstable you are and soon enough, the rest of the family had become aware before they had started to do whatever to help you overcome these urges.

Instead of giving up on killing completely, you had switched from killing newborns to killing the criminals that walked the streets, some even involved the most dangerous street gangs. You kept this hidden, or at least you tried to as you keep forgetting Edward can read minds. After finding out this side of you, he confronts you and you admit it with such shame you never felt before. Once the dark secret was out, Edward had come up with a solution that could either work in your favor or do the complete opposite. The idea was to attend Forks High School together as new students, and that’s where you meet best friend, Bella Swan.

You shared more classes with Bella than you did with Edward. How you meet is quite amusing, it was during gym class and you were playing volleyball. When she smacked the ball over the net, it hit you and she immediately comes to you with rushed, yet sincere apologies.

“I’m sorry! I told them not to let me play.” Bella says.

“It’s fine, really. No harm done.” you promise, smiling reassuringly at her.

From them on, you both become about as much inseparable as you and Edward were, loving the fact you studied at the same school together.

Not long after Bella learns of the vampire world, you trusted her enough to tell her of your past while expecting harsh judgment. But you were pleasantly surprised when she sat there with you, listening to you with any judgments whatsoever. Bella was your next go to for a shoulder to cry on, she was a good listener, best friend. In return, you offer her your ears as well and little advice.

Edward was pleased with the fact the solution was solved, and so it was.

“Don’t talk to me like that!” Jane snarls at you, taken you by surprise.

Jane had never once raised her voice at you, though it may have happened once or twice before, she would normally never do that. Even if the two of you getting into an arguments, you try avoiding these things but Jane presses forward sometimes a little aggressively. Of course, she never means it, all of it has come from the heat of the moment.

“Not cool, (Y/n)!!! It’s not cool at all!!!”

Jane had taken you along with her on tasks and the recent current one had gone wrong.

Right now, Jane was getting after you like a child would when getting caught swiping a cookie from the jar that was out of reach. It was an accident really, you noticed that Jane was having trouble and tried helping her out of it. Which was what nearly got you killed after stepping in front of Jane, the result being you getting hurt. Jane was pissed as on the other hand, you would do anything for her, even if it costs your life. Jane lets out an angry huff, she wasn’t mad at you in particular, just of your actions.

“Hey! I just saved your life!”

Jane only glared at you before saying anything about the situation.

“I can banish you, you know?”

“I’ve seen you do worse, you know?” you shoot back at her.

“You’ll wanna stop right there if you want to see tomorrow.”

That got you extremely quiet.

You couldn’t believe the cruel words Jane, your mate, had just said to you.

“Jane!” you finally mustered out.

“Keep your voice down! You’re going to make a scene!”

“Excuse me, I have to go make a scene!” you mocked.

Which is what really happens, you run off as Jane stood there, not looking back until you were completely out of sight.

Jane wasn’t going to let you get away from this. At this point, both you and Jane started arguing after finding you. The both of you know that the scene wasn’t going to happen, and for your sakes, that was probably one of the best decisions to have made, to allow it not to come around any further than it needs to be. You were looking for something to eat when you hear a voice behind you. Turning around, you come face to face with Alec, he a had a look on his face that said he had something to say or some questions. Still feeling upset from the argument, you did your best to remain calm as you greeted him.

“What can I do for you?”

“Do you want to tell me what that was about?”

You couldn’t help but feel slightly embarrassed knowing he had heard your argument with Jane, but that didn’t last long once you have given a response.

“Listen, I’m sorry you had to hear that. As you know, I’m still just getting used to the idea of being mated to Jane, however, I’m not going to go back and apologize for something that I’m not wrong about.”

“What would you be wrong about?”

“The task took a wrong turn and I stepped in front of her, helping her out and not to mention saving her life. Instead of being appreciative about it, she took it as something I’ve done wrong.”

“You had try telling her otherwise?”

“Yes, of course..”

As you were about to go on to say more, a sudden flash had caught your attention. Knowing it was Jane, you almost feel upset all over again and decided to be a pest against Jane for the moment.

“Did you see that? You saw that, right? Someone here?”

Alec was obviously quite amused by your childish game there, and Jane looked agitated by it.

She stood in front of you as you smirked while continuing the game.

“Oh, it’s you.”

Before you could speak another word, you grimaced as Jane roughly takes hold of your hand and pulls you behind her back to her room.

“I think we need to discuss this, (Y/n).”

“What’s there to be discussed about?”

“A lot.”

You stop yourself from scoffing and rolling your eyes as she continues.

“It’s not that I’m grateful for you saving my life, but you have to understand that I could have lost you.”

Those words struck you like no other, this was really the first time Jane was showing how much you meant to her and not only that, you were given a taste of her point of view all at once.

You can’t recall on the last time you have felt so delighted about something in your life. Jane truly loved you, and with you still being human made it uneasy for her to put her worries to ease. Slowly and carefully did Jane step forward and pull you into her embrace as you allowed it.

“I can’t lose you.”

“Than turn me.”

Your command had taken Jane off guard, so much so that she had to pull away and study you closely. As she does so, the look on your face only told her that you were being dead serious before pulling you back into her.

“Are you sure? I was going to wait until you were ready, (Y/n).” she nearly whispered your name.

If losing your humanity meant spending forever with your mate, you were more than willing to give it all up for her. Lose it all for her, the one you loved most.

“Yes..”

Jane nods and takes you to be placed on the bed before hovering over you.

With her now just inches away from you, Jane leans and whispers in your ear, sending shivers down your spine.

“It’s going to hurt, but I’ll be with you through all of it.” she promises and you nod in response as she plants a few kisses before officially biting you.

You want to scream as the burning sensation of her venom courses through your veins, but you can’t.

You wanted yo reach for her to have something to hold onto, but you can’t. This process has you paralyzed until a few days later when you wake up from it. Jane may be a tough cookie towards you at times, but the love you have for each other is real, and that’s all that mattered to you both.

The bright future ahead of you.

Alice:

• When it comes to showing some kind of affection, Alice remembers with you, it has to be taken slow and on your terms

• Especially when it comes to physical affection, like holding hands or hugging one another

It was a simple request from Riley, your mate. But since Riley seemed to be in the mood for teasing you today, you thought it was only fair to give back the time of teasing as a taste of his own medicine.

So when you were close enough, about to kiss, you pulled away at the last minute, earning you a look of disappointment from Riley. Riley begins to question you about the sudden action you took by pulling away.

“What was that for?”

The playful smirk on your face faltered as it’s replaced by you laughing lightly at his reaction. You honestly didn’t know what kind of reaction to expect, but now that you got it, you couldn’t help but find it a little funny.

Although Riley was truly confused, you had your own fun and made your back to him. Of course you gave him what he asked for, but only so little of it. It turned out to be only a single kiss and that’s what made him begin to feel more agitated since the start of your game. • At first, Emmett thought nothing of it when the smallest signs begin to show whenever you’re in his presence

• One if the first signs that occurred while around Emmett was getting an unexpected panic attack one day while watching a movie together at his family’s home

• You didn’t tell him about the ADHD as you assumed he knew of it already through Carlisle, and you had good reason for it

• The reason thought he would already know is because you were a regular patient of Carlisle before the two of you even met and the more time spent together, the more you assumed Carlisle had already informed Emmett

• You aren’t considered the type to be aggressive, but when it comes to protecting the ones you love and care about, that’s when a side of you that rarely shows awakens

• You once got a three day suspension from Forks High School after getting into a physical fight after hearing a classmate talking bad and saying things that no one should ever say about your younger/older brother/sister and even a few of your closest friends

• In this fight, you gave the classmate a nosebleed as a result in the fight as you were only trying to protect. You were never this way unless for a reason and even though it was understandable in a way, you still got in trouble and grounded from seeing your friends and boyfriend

• You didn’t fight to show dominance, rather to remind those who even dare to push it, that they must know who they’re up against and make the message clear to them that it would be wise of them to remember the next time they decide to pull strings

• A lot of the time, it’s easy for to get distracted from one thing to the next. Even just by something such as an empty soda can. You quite enjoy using your hand to slowly crush it as if it was a toy

• When Emmett learns of your ADHD, you were overjoyed and relieved that despite that, he remains by your side. In the beginning, you weren’t quite sure about entering another relationship for a while due to past experiences that you’d like to forget, and you now believed that Emmett was the antidote for that

• It was nerve wracking for you to pluck up the courage and inform him yourself when he begins asking familiar questions, the same ones from your past

• The questions start when you were at his family home one day doing homework together, the two of you were paired for a huge project and percentage of your grade in biology class together. You had an empty soda can in hand after remembering it was there near you and when Emmett returns with some snacks for you, he noticed your focus seemed to be more towards the can than your project.

• For a moment, Emmett stood there watching as you had it up close to your face, slowly crushing it and enjoying the sound it made as you did so

• It was so distracting that the you didn’t even notice Emmett was back until he asked what in the world you were doing that for

• So, you tell him everything and explain what it’s like with you because you know it’s different to every person out there with ADHD

• Emmett gently takes the can away, replacing it with one of those stress balls as to help you better focus on what you both are having to set out to do together

• In addition to that, the stress ball seemed to be doing the trick in helping you to stay focus and before you know it, you begin taking that with you to school

• At school, you had the good and bad days, and one day in particular, you were in one of those bad days which happened because of the day prior

• You were trying to be careful when it comes time to take your medication for it, it was difficult to keep it hidden while in school. But one day, it seemed you weren’t careful enough as one of the mean kids walked by the water fountain you were at and watched, making them an unwanted witness to this at all

• You were only comfortable with Emmett knowing because he helps to remind you when you should take it

• It was just one of those at the wrong place at the wrong time scenarios. The next day, a lot of if not all the kids, knew. Words and rumors spread so fast at Forks High School. Everyone was a victim, it seemed to be your turn and you eventually got fed up with the misery it brought upon you

• You were being teased constantly and one day, you decided to do something about it. You were walking to class with Emmett when it started up again, and Emmett tries telling you to ignore them.

• But how could you? After so long now? Something had to be done and you took action in spinning around, facing the girl who was teasing you and called her a few choice words.

• That was the very first time of you cussing, even you were shocked by it

• “Excuse me?”

• “You heard me.”

• Nothing more came of that, until the time came for Gym class, a class in which the three of you share together

• It was volleyball day in Gym and to your luck, (sarcasm) you were placed in front row of the net where you could easily get hit by the volleyball and Emmett was placed in the back where he couldn’t reach you, and your mortal enemy of the day was on the side of the net not far from you

• Of course, you got hit in the face on purpose by that snotty girl with an impact that was strong enough to knock you over while Emmett watched it happen and made note of who was responsible for it

• Rather than turning her in, Emmett had a little confrontation with her after school, telling her to leave you alone or else she would be very sorry

• In the meantime, all that mattered now was the two of you and the relationship you shared, you started making plans for the future as graduation approaches and you both agreed to wait until after for Emmett to change you

It all started with a nightmare, the worst one you had yet to have.

You couldn’t stop thinking about it, but at the same time, you needed to find a distraction to use until you feel safe enough to fall asleep. Though you weren’t part of the Cullen family, they had taken you in as one of their own due to the fact your parents were almost never home, leaving you alone.

Your best friend, Bella Swan had come to stop by and hang out with you, and she was quite surprised to see the living conditions you were in. It’s not like you didn’t have food or anything to be able to survive, but that’s when Bella insists you move into the Cullen home. Ultimately, you agreed even when you there are times you had thoughts on going back home, you decided against it. What was happening between the Cullens and the volturi was starting to scare you and that’s what your nightmares were about, you would be left alone again. After checking the clock, you pulled yourself up and started for the living room where the Cullens most like would be, but no one was home. Or at least that’s what you were telling yourself and believing, that’s until you had seen that you weren’t alone; you were walking around the house when you caught a glimpse of the guests you just barely know.

Benjamin was someone you grew feelings for, and that’s what had you wanting to get to know him more. You stood there, forgetting that you were a human and he was a vampire when he called you out. That was unexpected and startled you into flinching, he could hear your heart beating.

Benjamin was reading a book in Carlisle’s office. You stood still only for a moment before speaking up.

“I was…” your voice trails away.

“What’s going on? What’s keeping you up?”

“Nightmares.”

A loud clap of thunder sounded and startled you, causing you to shriek at a minimum level. Your little fright caught Benjamin’s attention.

You had always been afraid of thunder storms, hearing that had your anxiety level to go through the roof before starting to slightly tremble. In a flash, Benjamin was by your side wanting to comfort you. Benjamin knew it was up to him comfort you. He embraced you and returned it, holding onto him tightly as if your life depended on it, then he leads you to the couch as he invites you to lay your head in his lap. Benjamin than starts running his fingers lightly through your hair and it was soothing, just pure Heaven to have be there with you, telling you it’s going to be okay. To help you out at another level, he started telling you stories of his past and as he was doing so, you begin to feel sleepy again. You eventually fell asleep and seconds later Benjamin set the book down and wrapped a secure arm around your waist. As a result, you cuddled more against him while in your sleep.

It was a sleep you haven’t had in a long time, it was nice. Seeing you sleep peacefully, Benjamin couldn’t help but begin falling for you. Everything worked out. You were both mates and neither of you wouldn’t have it any other way.

It was comforting.

Benjamin was comforting.

There has always been always a big risk when it comes to the world of vampires, a world you never thought to have existed until you meant him, Alec Volturi.

Alec is an ice cold individual, and is cruel towards humans. Until your chance encounter of meeting one another, Alec knew immediately that you were his mate. Not really by choice but more like by fate, but that would all change very soon. Alec could be just as cruel as the other kings and although he could get a little frightening, he was more lenient towards you, but only slightly if you were to screw up on a simple task by mistake.

In the beginning, Alec was nowhere near fond of you, it didn’t matter if he was a little more lenient, but the his perspective of you changed completely when he saw you being chased by an abusive ex. At first, he thought the young man was just one of those who found you attractive and made it his mission to not stop chasing after you until you give him a phone number. Though you were a fast runner, you weren’t fast enough and the man gripped you tightly after catching your wrists and forcing you forwards to make eye contact with him. That was when Alec knew something wasn’t right, and seeing someone put their hands on you like that, made him livid. So he was on his way to put a stop to it before things escalated more than they should. When the man tried to pull you away from the castle, that was when Alec showed up and followed. It was a good thing too, and you were never more thankful to have Alec around.

Your ex’s car was a few feet away when Alec got there, your ex trying his hardest to get you in the car. After getting a brief whiff of the car, it was a smell you would never forget, it was the same smell that will be giving you nightmares of the incident. Alec manages to quickly grab you and start the way back to the castle, but not without a brief confrontation with the ex who tried taking you away from him. First, Alec turns and steps in front of you, so that your out of view. In this moment, Alec briefly grabbed him by the throat and appeared to be very intimidating as he threatens the guy. However, the threat didn’t seem to phase the guy at all… well almost.

“If I see you on castle grounds again, you will be ripped apart by me personally!” Alec yelled.

“Relax man, I was just asking her for directions!”

“Oh yeah? Directions to what?”

“That’s personal business, I was just saying I wasn’t here to cause harm or trouble.”

“I think hell is that way.” Alec says, pointing to his car.

“You’re going to hell, that’s where I hope you turn up!” Alec sharks with a hint of venom in his voice.

The man rolled his eyes like this was some kind of big joke that was not humorous in anyway at all. But than the man comes back with his own remark, one that made it hard for Alec to hold himself back from causing more problems or to have more tension growing.

“I already know it. I’ll see you there.”

With that being said, the ex had walked back and got in his car and drove away. This time, for good, you never see him again after this thanks to Alec showing up when he did. That was quite an ordeal for the both of you, but the only thing that matters is the fact it was over and even though it didn’t last more than a half hour, it felt like an eternity. Once the whole ordeal was over, Alec helped you back inside the castle.

For the rest of the day, the evening, Alec was showing his more affectionate side by taking care of you and making sure you had everything you needed. This was when he became more of you.

When he felt he was running out of time getting to you earlier.

Alec became your hero.

Though you were still human, you had never thought you’d be the mate of Jane Volturi.

There had been some small hints that should have been easy for you to pick up on, but those hints went right over your head and only the Cullens seemed to have picked up on them, but they don’t say anything in the start of it.

Mainly because they want you to figure it out on your own. Hint number one was when you agreed to follow your sister and Alice to go safe Edward from the Volturi. You hated crowds and normally, you would take Bella’s hand and let her lead the way, but once inside the castle of Volterra you were astonished nay how massive the castle was and you were just in awe of it at the same time nervous while feeling the panic settle in from the crowded hallways. It was so overwhelming to the point in which what you had thought was Bella’s hand you took hold of was in fact not. You mistakenly took hold of a stranger’s hand and this hand was very cold, it was like the temperature of death cold. That was when you realized your mistake of taking hold of Jane Volturi’s ice hand and tried pulling away with muttered apologies. But she wouldn’t let go, she seemed that she almost didn’t want to let go, let go of her surprisingly gentle grip as to not break your hand while Bella looked over at you in concern.

Bella was worried, afraid that something might happen to you now. She kept thinking of how she almost lost Edward, and how she couldn’t lose you, either. Jane seemed to love the touch of your warm blooded human hand, but she couldn’t admit that, out loud anyway. Holding your hand had Jane feeling sparks, but was angry at the same time because she did want to be falling for a human mate. She knew she couldn’t ignore the feelings for you, the second hint was when you entered the throne room of the massive castle and saw the Volturi kings sitting in their thrones, seemingly waiting for your arrival, which they were. These kings were supposedly the rulers of all vampires in the vampire world and you weren’t gonna lie, they were already intimidating. At this point, you wanted to be by your sister’s side, but Jane seemed to stand between you and the kings protectively.

It was her actions right than that made you miss the hint. Because those actions were not like Jane Volturi at all, those who know of her feared her of her gift, knowing what she was capable of. But she already knew she would never hurt you, you didn’t know it yet and wouldn’t until much later. Everyone in that room saw this but you, and it felt eerie feeling that you have all eyes on you, making you extremely uncomfortable than you already were. Looking slightly over Jane’s shoulder, you see Aro trying to command Jane to do something through motion and Jane refused, shaking her head. You don’t know it yet, but what Aro was asking for her to do was to pain you and Jane refused to do so which would later come with consequences. Instead, she seemed to have no problem complying to pain Edward instead and because you hated seeing your sister in such distress, you beg for it to stop, and it didn’t stop at first. When it did, it was when Bella asks for them to kill her instead, there was no way in hell you were about to let such a thing happen.

No way, no how.

This has gone too far now. Not wanting to see anyone else hurt, you make the vampires an offer, it was an offer that you didn’t want to make but if it mean saving lives, you were willing to comply and make that offer.

“No! Take me! Take me instead just let them go, please!” Just please don’t kill my sister!” You plea.

You watched as the three kings exchanged in quiet conversation before eventually agreeing to take you in and letting your loved ones go. It was a relief to watch them walk away unharmed as Bella cling into Edward before sparing you a sorrowful glance.

You continue to watch, still having been remaining by Jane’s side. That was when Aro started giving Jane orders again, this time in words instead of in motion.

“Jane, take your mate to your room and don’t let her out until further notice.” Aro demanded and Jane complied.

You feel her gentle yet firm grip on your hand as she lead the way.

It was heavily quiet the whole way there, which was probably a good thing considering the fact that at the moment, you were too scared to ask what was going to happen now, or what was going to happen to you. The both of you eventually made to her room, but before she allowed you inside, she called for Alec over. Looking at Alec, he was just as intimidating as the three kings.

“What is it?” He snapper from annoyance, causing you to jump back behind Jane.

That upset Jane and she got after Alec for scaring you.

“Don’t scare my mate! I need you to stand guard by my door in case she tries to make an escape attempt.”

Before Alec could comply, you scoffed in annoyance gaining Jane’s attention and he once warm red eyes that now turned cold, was now piercing sharply into your soul .

“What? Do you have something you want to say?” She asked harshly.

You almost don’t say anything, but Alec urged you on.

“Well?”

“Um… it’s just I don’t need a babysitter!! I’m (Y/A) years old!!!” You argue.

No one says anything as Jane pushes you inside her room, locking the door before you could get yourself up from off the floor.

All you did after that was sit on the corner of her bed, chin supporting your clenched fist as you let out a sigh in defeat. You were her mate, what did that actually mean? That was something you were going to find out no matter what.
