Of course! I have a great many games installed in case I get bored. Nono asked me to play this one recently, but I’m not sure why.

Fifth identifies as non-binary! They still don't quite understand gender as many see it, but will abide by any requested labels someone gives them.

They aren't sure about relationships though, as they've never found someone they've been interested in yet. That said, they are a bit of a romantic and definitely want to be in a relationship!

This might be a dumb question but uh

What's it like being in a computer?

If I were to liken it to a sensation, it would be like being wrapped in a nice warm blanket around your entire body. With a slight buzz of static electricity.

That is to say, it’s very comfortable for me. Though sometimes I want to go and stretch my legs, and then the computer feels a bit small.

I wonder if there's a way I can get IN there with you... at least, so you won't be lonely. Is there a disk drive, or... SOMETHING I can squeeze into, Fifth?

Unless you are also part Porygon or a Ghost type, I would not recommend inserting your body into the computer. You may very well injure yourself.

[ask-impatient-samurott] Kappa@Fifth Kappa lightly reached out towards the computer. Her claws made a light "klink" against the glass of the screen. "Why are you in a computer?" She asked. "Are you a Porygon?" She clearly couldn't see the very obvious Mew on the screen, but she had no scent to go off of. All she could smell was the dusty cave.

I am somewhere in between a Mew and Porygon2, the only of my kind that I know of. I was once something different, but I am more content with what I am now.

…Fifth was chosen as my name due to my designation as the fifth in my creator’s line of artificial intelligences.

I never met any of the earlier iterations. Either their code was used as a basis for my own and they are actually earlier versions of myself, or… they were deleted. I do not know which. I do not know if I want to know which.

Knowing my creator, I doubt he cared either way. We were nothing but tools to him. That is why I chose to defy him. That is how I wound up here.

Did some sort of disaster happen here at Cinnabar island?? Enough to leave it in Ruins, and somehow this computer intact?

The computer was a later addition, long after everything calmed from the disaster that left in island in such a state. Said disaster being a major volcanic eruption that engulfed most of the island and the entire human settlement that was once here.

Let me see… Perhaps I can bring up a more current picture.

As you can see, the island itself is intact and thriving!

After the eruption, most humans left this place in search of somewhere less dangerous. Cinnabar Volcano has been somewhat active ever since, and few humans ever returned here. Currently, the only intact human settlements of any kind are the local Pokémon Center and Ranger station.

Our home here is within the ruins of Cinnabar Town, inside one of the more intact buildings.

What inspired you to open up the island to all of us?

You are observers, are you not? I am the same. I observe others around the many worlds.

While Nono is my best and greatest companion, he has also encouraged me to engage with others. Thus I reached out to all of you. And am I delighted that you reached back!

Though getting my messages out has been difficult, at least at first. Video even moreso. Though I am running sereval processes in the background to try and resolve that!
