Look I'm just saying in the finale one of the brothers was forlorn and talked about missing Castiel while the other was happily eating pie and dismissively said that he missed Castiel too and then proceeded to continue to happily eat pie and maybe JUST MAYBE it would've made more sense for Castiel to profess love for the brother actively mourning him

Not to be dramatic but this little smile Sam gives to try to comfort Gabriel makes me want to eat myself

one of my favorite scenes of all time is when sam is standing outside the impala brushing his teeth. it is an early morning probably, dean is sleepy, and it just feels so domestic, rugged and gritty, and texturally real. realest and most grounded moment ever. you can feel the fact theyve been on the road forever, that this is their life, where the impala is their only home and their world is each other and hunting.
