I wish they'd let Wyll be angry, specifically: angry for himself, not just for other people. I wish they'd let him yell at his dad. I wish they'd let the player tell Wyll that it's okay to love your dad but still feel hurt and betrayed by him. Let the guy vent all that pent up negative emotion for goodness sake. Give him a scene or three where Theo Solomon could flex his voice acting skills.

I don't know why I doubt myself. Regarding a book I teach, I asked some co-workers if there's a theory out there that these two characters were lovers, and everyone was like, "Eh, maybe? I don't think so, though."

Look, I don't know why I bothered to ask. All you have to do is go on AO3 and find that half of the fics are these two characters paired together. Okay, so maybe the academic community doesn't see it, but the horny community does.
