Meep Morp #10: Two Sides of Mom, According to Me

I imagined my mom like that on the right when she’s angry OHOHOHOHO ^O^

Ultra happy, happy momshies day to all mothers out there! Yes, you heard that right. Momshies. It's just another cutesy, quirky way in the PH for calling your mother. That's just so me XD

I would like to extend my gratitude and love to all mothers (or momshies, your pick XD), especially mine that is equally beloved and annoying, who sacrificed a lot and nearly went insane in tending her children, their needs and well-being. Also, this also goes to all mothers out there who are now chillaxing in the heavens, for their memories will forever be engraved in their loved ones' hearts. They're like superheroes or magical girls in our mundane lives who has the following superpowers, including but not limited to:

- Makes you the most scrumptious of meals out of nothingness - Generates rants first when we're asking for money but still gives you the money - Predicts the future and what will happen to you, then tells you "I told you so" when it happens to further salt the wounds - Sends off sermons to our ears while getting the chores done (The greatest multitasker I've ever met XD) - Practices your evasive tactics through her usage of broomsticks, her hands or your father's belt - Terrifyingly sharp sense of hearing and observation for her extensive database of gossips - Magically makes your lost things reappear when she looks for them

And finally...

- Gives you all the warmth and love you just need in your life (AWWWWWWWWWWWWWW)

Can't see another woman with that abilities XD So cherish and care your moms, not just only on Mother's Day but also the days beyond that, all thoughout her life. Happy Momshies Day again ^_^

Aaaand I’m baack~*

Goodness me, the last 4 months was just pure stress. Our thesis hanging in the brink, unsure if I could graduate on time, if could get a job afterwards, what to do with my life etc. all the stressful bits a senior could think of who is on its last year in college. Thankfully, I’m now a graduate (YAY) and currently waiting for some papers to be released so that I could start the job seeking without worries. I hope I could find one =.= 

After summertime (it’s summer here in Philippines btw) and hanging out with my friends, of course XD

Ooh ooh, I would also like to post some several morps I made recently after clearing my brain from all the anxiety and depression I’ve felt from last months of my senior year and a special one I’ve made for this success of mine later this week.

Meep Morp #9: Ultra Happy*Merry Christmas

Happy Holidays everybody ^_^ And yes, this time of joy and merriment is also the time where the flabs start getting a bit bigger. There's just too many foods to eat XD Still, I thank the Lord that I've managed to be on his Birthday after a more-or-less depressing year for me. I can still see that little glimmering spark of hope that somehow keeps me pushing until tomorrow's dawn. I hope I could somehow manage the battles in me bit by bit before and after the New Year. Also the flabs, I hate my flabs XD

Thought on the Sun Dresses

Okay, I just want to drop my thoughts about the girls on acquiring the Sun dresses. Well, more like an idea ^_^ So correct me if I'm wrong but you know that dress changing mechanic on the arcade? You know, that certain parts of the player's coord can change into a whole new one. With this, I think it would be nice to incorporate this in the anime's CG performances but instead of only one part, the whole dress becomes the Sun dress. For example, Mahiru, maybe performing Makeover Makeup, has her Daylight Festival Coord changes into her specifically colored Sun Dress midway during the performance. I think it's just fun and exciting to watch this, not to mention put some little changes on the CG performances. So what do you think?

Meep Morp #8: Fluttering in the Forest’s Breath

More like "Pirouette of the Forest Light" knockoff title if you ask me XD The Floral Fantasia Coord is just floaty-fairy goodness. The soft combination of purple, blue and floral decorations topped with a fairy theme resulting in a dress of what I could say fitting for a fairy from the forests. It just spoked and inspired me to create this piece. Also, the song is so beautiful to hear, I just haven't find a large space to dance around (with no people around of course XD).

I admit I was having a hard time creating the wings since I just drew it on the spot and just go with the creative flow. Some of the wings I drafted were pointy like Tink's, stout like that of bees and I almost went with a angel wings when it's supposed to be a fairy XD But here it is, a pair of pastel wings decorated with flowers, butterflies and gems (if you use your imaginations on those blue dots ^_^) with several pastel swirls here and there. It just fluttered my heart, really. And this wouldn't be an art of mine without little decorative bits around the drawing, as well as a border because I hate blank spaces XD XD XD

She does look like Aria Futaba but like I said, the dress and the character was inspired from said dress and Aria, respectively. Well, I had a fun time finishing these Morps and excited for you guys to see these after this "hiatus" of mine. Ultra happy day to you, people~

Meep Morp #7: Sweet-stacked Surprise!

Still on the roll here XD

This piece of cake right here is my way of saying "ULTRA HAPPY BIRTHDAYS!" to my one of my closest friends since elementary and it's exhausting to be friends with her XD XD XD Kidding aside, I made this since I don't know how to bake a real cake, let along buy ingredients for it. So, in the most "me" way I can, I have "baked" this with every layer representing (some of them teasing, guess what those layers are XD) something related to her. I love the orange layer for obvious reasons OHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO ^_^ Now if only I could make this cake real. Oh well, one could dream.

Meep Morp #6: Fly By Night

GAAAAAAD Studio Ghibli films are just <3 Kiki's Delivery Service is one of my favorite Ghibli films among many others. Ponyo, Castle in the Sky, My Neighbour Totoro, From Up the Poppy Hill, When Marnie was There, the list goes on. I really love how fluid they do their animation, makes their magical fictions real.

Anyhoos, about this morp, this was supposed to be posted a week after that Wings of Sweet Dreams morp. Then I stopped after making Kiki, Gigi, the broom and all that jazz because I can't seem to find the perfect backdrop to them. I mean, I'm not that of an artist who has fancy equipment and software so layers were a bit of my problem. Then our finals and thesis came along and struggled for weeks so Kiki halted her flight for a bit. At last, I drew up this crayon-like backdrop and poof, the rest was history XD

ULTRA HAPPY DAYS EVERYBODY!!! It's been a (more than) month since I last posted my last Meep Morp here. I, being a college student whose in its 4th year, became busy with all the academic whatnots, especially towards our thesis. Weeell, to be honest, I never really that of a big help during the last semester to my groupmates so I'll strive to help more towards our study. Right now, I'm just relaxing to relieve all the pent-up stress I'm having for months and boy, it was nerve-wracking =.=

But enough of that now XD I'll be posting the Meep Morps I was supposed to be posting last month. I was unable to find time to finish one after the other due to school and it ended up just laying around my desktop for a while. Nonetheless, I hope the followings Morps help brighten your day a bit ^_^

Meep Morp #5: Wings of Sweet Dreams

Aaaand I forgot that I’m supposed to be doing these morps weekly XD Anyhoos, if you don’t know, I’m also a big fan of Aikatsu since I started watching when it was in its 2nd season in the original series. As such, the winged Premium Rare dresses of the Constellation System have a special place in my heart <3 Now we’re in the Yume generation and they’re bringing back the winged dresses again for it’s 2nd season. 

Here, FuwaFuwa Dreams’ Sweet Dreams Coord is one of my favorite dresses. It’s fluffy, dreamy and the overt use of pastels, as well as other dresses in the brand, is too adorable for me not to notice XD Also, Kirara’s hair and the song Please Mary matches perfectly with the dress. Good night and sweet dreams~*

Felice, my character in Style Savvy: Fashion Forward, in the many styles and shots she has been into. Though I love every brand, I’m very much fond of the dainty silhouettes of Marzipan Sky and the bubbly rainbow that is April Bonbon. I love and appreciate the many beautiful styles a woman could dress into ^_^

Also, yay for Girls Mode/Style Savvy 4 <3 NOA should be localizing and releasing it earlier unlike Fashion Forward.

Kirakira kirarun, kirakirarun! 4th weekly meep morp featuring the motif animals of KiraKira Precure A La Mode, with Pekorin right there. Borders were a bit rushed since I’m starting to get exhausted after drawing the girls (the animals I mean) and Pekorin. Still, what a nice way to start the week. Kirakira~*
