Channel Update

Hey all, thought I'd post a little update to let people know what the status is of my YouTube channel. So it's been about a month since my last stream, and about a year since the last OST video. I'm sure people are wondering where my uploads/art has been, and the short version of the story is I've been taking some time to work through some personal stuff. I'm a college junior now, and have taken a part time job to support that, and as such making videos, streams, art, etc. has fallen to the background a bit.

I've also been dealing with some serious mental health issues over the past few years. I don't want to get too graphic but I've hit some real low points recently, and it's made me realize I have to get some therapy to help cope with these negative thoughts. I have a very perfectionist way of viewing my relationship with making art, to the point that I will hyperfixate on one specific project for a few weeks, burn myself out, and not have the energy or motivation to continue working past that point. This is not a sustainable way to live and I should have realized this sooner. This coupled with school and work meant I have truly been burning the candle at both ends. What this means for the channel is that I am going to have to abandon the idea of a consistent monthly upload schedule for a while, and abandon the weekly stream schedule as well. I'm going to finish my commission work and then focus on IRL responsibilities. However, despite this, I am committed to my passion projects and will strive to work on them. I can't overstate how thankful I am for the support I've gotten from my audience, and hope that people will stick around when I start production back up again.
