He’d wanted to run off with Elektra, and maybe if Frank asks him — if Frank asks he might do it too. Frank had said it was a damn good feeling to have somebody watch out for you. He’s right. It is. It’s exhilarating to put your life in somebody’s hands and to hold theirs in yours. How can any other thing measure up to that? To this ultimate act of devotion? The answer is that nothing can.
