Shoot don't know when this was asked! Right now it's on hold while I'm on maternity leave. The web design is finished and we still need some artwork and that's it :)

All of our berry bushes are done, can you guess which ones will be in the game? Little pots and their sprouts are next!

The project has started up again! I’m super excited to be working with the wonderful Lianne Pflug for a lot of our items :D Her artwork is beautiful. These are just sketches and not final art style.  As you can see above, we will have 3 types of crops you can buy: seeds, bushes, and trees. Each will come in their own packaging and seeds will have different package colors as well.

More web design!

The frontend for Alpha is almost complete! Which means we’ll be switching back to regular art once that’s done. Then we’ll focus on finding a backend programmer to tie everything together. The below image is still a WIP.

Working~

It’s been a while crocodile! We hope the holidays have treated you well. Our team was hit with Covid (we remote work but all seem to have caught it), but we got back on the horse and work is on track once again.  Frontend design work has begun, however if you want to see it (wips too) they’re on our Patreon. We won’t be posting the designs here until all are 100% completed. Base #4 is done, so now we’ve started mixing, matching, recoloring, and resizing things to fit all of the bases for alpha. As you can see below It’s quite an adventure!  More things incoming in the few days as we catch up on some posts!

Sowing field + mini update

It’s been a while hasn’t it? I’ve been a bit busy as I was finishing up my work probation period and finalizing the webpage designs for the designer. Now that this has past we’re going to get back on track! So here’s the preview of another building we completed!

Grasslands House

I wanted to redo the original homes for players so here’s the Grasslands redo! This is level 5, based on a real home here in Canada.

Pond

Players will be able to purchase the pond so that they can own some ducks!

Grassfield

The grassfield and sowing field are two different “buildings” that you can purchase so that you’re not using just your sowing field to make grass for your animals.

Little Lamb

It is nice to finally be able to present our very first completed animal! Animals have priority over item art so hopefully we see more of these soon <3

Base #2 Reveal

Here we have the second base, no name as of yet. We’re working on the 3rd base right now and might be able to finish it in time for next week. I’m estimating that by the end of this month we’ll have completed all the avatar bases and can get started on clothing and hair. I’ve also started some notes for the Kickstarter, so if you have any suggestions on items (physical or digital) you’d like to see, comment below!

Base #1 Reveal

I had some other stuff planned for today but I really wanted to share this.  This is our first base, The Hourglass. It will be available with these 50 skin shades. The colors still need some tiny tweaks but I really hope that even though we went from 100 to 50, we’re still able to represent as many people as we possibly can. All of our bases will also have the chest “togglable”, meaning you can chose to have boobs or not.  Our next base is a little more round ;D But you’ll have to wait until next week to see that one. Small updates on Wednesdays

I’m going to try and have a small update weekly from this point on, so I’ve scheduled a bunch of things that will always go live on Wednesday. Provided everyone stays on schedule, this should be good for a little while. First update is our fertilizer bag!

Big Dev Update

It’s been quite a while now since there has been a big dev update, today that changes! Below you will find everything we’re working on, where we’re at, and what is finished. I’ve included Patreon things in here since they are still part of the to do list and the new rewards being added increase the workload somewhat.

Building Art (36/36) All the building art for alpha is completed!

Animal Art (1/19) Still a long way to go here, current priority is completing the Patreon exclusive pet first.

Item Art (5/44) Slowly working on these, the animal art does have priority over item art at this time.

Avatar Art (4/8) The color palettes have been shrunk down and re-verified so this step is complete. We still need 4 more body shape templates which means we’re about halfway done for alpha. These should be completed fairly quickly and then we'll work on the color variations. Avatar art also includes face shapes, there’s a total of 4 of those and 2 are completed.

Clothing Sets (0/4) Once the avatar bases are completed, we'll get started on the clothing sets for alpha (1 of which is Patreon exclusive only).

Hairstyles (2/10) 9 of the 10 hairstyles will be available during alpha, 1 of which will be a Patreon exclusive hairstyle.

Features (2/4) We'll be offering 3 feature "sets" for alpha, the 4th being a the Patreon only option.

Web Design (0/16) We’d been working on the designs ourselves for a while now, they’re almost complete but we’re overall not very satisfied with the designs (and even less with the wireframes). We may have found someone who will not only be able to do the designs but also some of the frontend as well. Only problem is she is full until January, so we’ve reserved a spot and hopefully everything works out with this person! The 16 you see is the number of designs that have been quoted as needing to be done since some pages will all have the same design.

Frontend + Backend Depending on how the web design goes, the front end may get completed at the same time. For the backend, we've spoken to a few places/people but haven't found anyone yet. Once a few other things are closer to being completed, we'll start looking into these a lot more.

Patreon I thought I would also take the time to mention that the Patreon itself is getting an overhaul. We’re updating the front page and adding more rewards. The new rewards will include an exclusive pet, wallpaper, bug tracking access, dev roadmap access, premium currency (monthly), special forum post frame + backdrop, avatar set (clothing, hair, features) and 1 extremely rare custom color scroll. The page isn’t 100% done yet, but the rewards have been added to the tiers themselves. The page updating will take a little longer still. That’s it!
