We are removed from the surface of the material and are invited to consider the nuances between them. An interrupted display disrupts the visual noise of the given environment.

Creating one’s own version of intuitive utopian entity doesn’t solve the interference of its collapses, but it changes the perception of them.

The sound derives from the field recordings of an artistic process of Martin Czeller. The final outcome is an audio-visual installation where the sound waves affect the visuals through analog media, created through a collaboration of Gaspar Cohen and Urška Savič.

I am in a conflict with photography.

When I started to decline away from photography, I wrote down “photography is a fear of creation”. For the creation in photography comes after the act of photographing.

The photography is a tool of communication; it is a medium to transfer the reality. The photography the way I was using it was a documentation. It was a tool for memorizing, a cure for not forgetting.  

I still love the image. However, I cannot be the one who produces it.

I am in conflict with the action of taking photographs.

What are you doing? I need to save it. But it is me! It is not you. It is an image of you. Like a chullachaqui? Like what? A chullachaqui. We all have a chullachaqui, he is similar to us, but it is empty, hollow. This is just a souvenir of a moment that passed. A chullachaqui has no memory. He just wanders around the world, empty, like a ghost, lost in a time without time.

“Rhizome”, mixed photography, various sizes, 2017

Rhizomes are papers made out of  395 various sized photographs that were first exhibited on a wall, to be later taken down, teared apart and mixed with a water into a dough. That dough was processed into nine pieces of paper. On each there is an information about the size and amount of photographs inside the specific piece.

“This system was made for you”, various materials and sizes,  2016-17

The reproduced reality from a photograph was acted out again. The first head was made after the same model as from the original picture. The second head is a copy of the first one. The third head was produced by another artist, looking at the first two. The fourth is a four-view photo-documentation of the first three heads. The last head was made by  the model who posed for the first head, while the artist became the model. For the exhibition purposes was used the same stall as seen from the original image.

“Presence”, documentation of a performance, photography + video + sound, 2015 “Presence” was a performative collabroative happening in a specific time and space. It focused on the relationship between the sound, the movement and the space. It has been documented and the documentation was used for a site-specific installation

Potentially hazardous objects are controversal. Are they threatening the existence of human species or they assist its development? This is a detailed documentation of a 120g chips with paprika.

“Unbearable lightness”, author’s book, 38x25cm, 160 pages, xerox copies, 2014

The project “Unbearable lightness” started with a single photograph of a small human head levitating in the immense sea. It concluded with time-consuming action of manipulating original photograph with a xerox copy machine. With using the basic functions “darker” and “lighter” around 160 slightly different copies were produced. Starting from the middle it concluded with two “ends”, one being a completely black copy and the other one completely white.
