Have you read Danny Bryne's Guide for Dating Vampires books? They're all MLM and have a great side plot of destroying a predatory Pharmaceutical company.

In the same bloody vein as the Twilight topic, you should totally check out Vampire Kisses series by Ellen Schreiber. It's like if Twilight had a cooler older sister it got famous copying (not accusing Meyer of copying though, both first books came out a year apart).
It is a little cringe, but normal silly teen cringe, the type you'd see in other old teenage stories or something like Monster High. But it's nice seeing a gothic character who has always loved the concept of vampires and dating one. Edward could never take Bella to a rich folk golf course to slow dance with her to Marilyn Manson under the sprinklers.
sounds interesting though i tend to prefer queer vampire books/media

The Lost Boys crew would FUCK UP Edward let's be serious for a moment.
And he deserves it ffs. Micheal x David is more romantic than Edward x Bella
that’s just common sense on both statements. david was literally begging michael to join him even after michael slaughtered all his bros. man was down BAD

I am so glad to see Twilight get shit on the way it deserves. C'mon, it's been 20 years, we know it's baby's first vampire romance for the 2000's done horrifically poorly.
real. those who boarded the vamplire hate train better hold on tight spider monkey bc this blog poopoos & peepees on twilight all night long

Twilight's issues with racism are honestly too apparent for me to take them seriously. What with the Mormonism, colonialsm, and anti-native themes.
just gonna leave this here

I laughed at the ask response about twilight lmao. While I wouldn’t say twilight is remarkable on its own merit. But I do think it’s noteworthy in the sense of its impact on pop culture and vampires as a genre.
poopoo peepee

vampires always have the best love confessions bc they’ve lived for centuries thinking they would never find it or are not worthy of it (i’m a monster blah blah blah) & when that person finally weasels their way into their heart it really shows in the feeling behind their chosen words of wanting.
