I dont really know what else to do or where else to go.

My baby Sushi is very close to having a Lymphoma diagnosis. We cant tell without a surgical biopsy. She needs her spleen removed and she has a massive lump in her small intestine.

Her treatments up till now has maxxed out my care credit line. Her surgery is $7,000. With the meds she was sent home on, she will be stable for a short time. In a few weeks, I will have to start to think about the worst.

Sushi comes from an abuser. She was given to me by a dear friend who had an abusive ex, that treated both Sushi and my friend horribly. Sushi has spent the last 4 years with me learning to trust people again. She means the world to me. Please, please help me give her a full life.

The Darkness Dreams - an intro

Hey friends, I wrote a short synopsis for an original fantasy novel I have been planning out. It would mean a lot if I could get some reach. Not sure if this garners any interest- writing a high fantasy story in my original setting has been a dream of mine.

The names are all subject to change. I literally asked a friend for some quick names based on the characters so I could write this.

Anyway, see below 🌟🌟

From the darkness there would be a guide, oil-slick wings with a long dipping beak, who would reach into the ages and pull out the deceased. Not without a deal, however. The Kuroshimi would not trick you, it would not ask for your soul, your sanity, or your descendants. All it asked for, was 100 pieces.

100 pieces of spirit. Shards, they are called. Collecting the 100 shards of a spitit can bring them back to life. This is the goal of the Cult of the Others, deep in the Elway forest, an organization dedicated for generations to finding the shards of their founder, the long dead Iyuu the Wise. The catch is that only one soul alive at a time can see who holds a Shard - and the current one is Ismine Ivada, an outsider with no interest in helping this cult bring back their tyrant leader.

On the other side of the world, Varin Wonder, an alchemy shop manager, found himself entangled in the mystery of the cult by chance. Could his grand destiny truly be to put an end to the cult's mission? It almost feels too good to be true for Varin to have a purpouse outside his mundane life and simple job. How is he even supposed to find the courage to seek out this cult, let alone be the force to stop it?

Thinking about how during the confession, Crowley was trying so hard to hold back his tears. He looks up, to the side multiple times to prevent any single tear from falling. He's choking on his words, breaking apart because he knows it's too late by this point. But he's pushing through it, just to tell Aziraphale he wants to spend the rest of his life with him, because maybe it'll change his mind.

You can see the moment he can't hold it back anymore. The moment he realizes they're not on their own side because Aziraphale chose heaven, and has to get out of there, has to put up his defenses.

It's so very human.
