Optimus Prime x human reader fluff

I need a hug so I wrote about Optimus giving me a hug, made it an x reader cuz why not. Things to mention: english isn't my native language, idk how Tumblr works pls forgive me, short fluff, reader is a human, reader is tired, reader is an adult and is working, reader needs a hug, Optimus gives reader a hug to cheer them up, reader's gender isn't specified, I didn't edit it or anything, no beta reader, I'm just posting this hoping I'll get two likes idk, Optimus calls you petnames, petnames used: 'sweetspark' and 'little one', anyway remember to stay hydrated and grab a snack!!!! Also let me know if I forgot to mention something.

• You were sitting on the couch when Optimus returned after a patrol, listening to Miko’s never-ending yap. She’s been talking about her favorite band, hobbies, recent drawings etc. basically for hours. Not that you minded her company, it was nice to have someone to listen to and not drown in your own thoughts, but you were tired. So as soon as you saw Optimus, you sent him one of your secret signals - the one that meant ’SOS’.

• He was halfway to Ratchet to exchange a few words, but changed his plans as soon as he noticed and registered your silent plea. He approached the platform and politely asked if he could borrow you for a moment. Miko reluctantly agreed. You not-so-reluctantly climbed onto Optimus’s servo.

• “What happened, sweetspark?” he asked as soon as you two were out of sight. You could still hear Miko talking, presumably to Ratchet now. Poor mech. “Nothing happened, I just wanted to get out of there.” you said. Optimus’s optical ridges furrowed. “Are you certain? You seem… quieter than usual.”

• You hesitated. You didn’t want to bother him. He had enough things to worry about as the Autobot leader. But then again, he never made you feel like you were actually bothering him. “I’m just… tired, you know? Life is not letting me rest recently…”

• Sleepless nights. Annoying people at work. Very little time to spend on yourself. You knew it was probably nothing compared to what Optimus musts face daily, but… That didn’t change the fact that you were still tired as hell.

• Optimus carried you to his quarters and sat on the berth. You were resting comfortably on his palm, leaning your cheek against his thumb. He didn’t dare move his digits. “Would you like a hug, little one?” he asked finally.

• You wanted a hug. Of course you did. So he carefully brought you to sit on his shoulder and reached for your pillow, the one you left there in case you’d want to stay the night. You put it between your face and his neck, then nuzzled it. You laid down as comfortably as you could.

• Once you settled, Optimus carefully brought his servo up and gently pat you with his digit. As if you were a little pet. You smiled at the thought. The warmth naturally produced by him slowly enveloped you.

• Now that you were feeling warm and loved, you feel asleep very quickly. Optimus carefully set you down onto his chassis. Best sleep ever.
