THE LOVEMARK

May 25th, Florence.

How do you find love in a pile of clothes you buy as necessity?

A fast-fashion closet doesn't come with rush included, and does not give you the love-dose you need a day.

Maybe the aspirational strategy designers and brands work for, do touch veins and brains.

From local to global this works, a Bogota independent brand called Ducky Black produces punk-inspired clothes, I took my hard-work gained pesos and bought a moto-jacket, I had long desired for. But did it gave me the rush I expected? Kinda, but it was like a glass half-full.

Maybe an original McQueen piece, could do that for me, but what would I do with it? As soon as I touch it with my hands, will I feel that dopamine release?

The nearest love-sensation experience I've had with garments, was ironically provided by my father, an army all-time uniformed man, gave me special-size combat boots, an original military product doesn't come often as little as this, no piece can come as close to the heart as this specially made shoes for daddy’s little princess.
