When the tiny entities wriggling inside a deep cave reached a glowing nebula, a reaction took place.
Time progressed on after the reaction. A heartbeat formed. Slowly, the unknown entity was becoming sentient.
The surrounding forces around the entity were more anxious than ever. Almost all of them concerned about its safety – to the point one would speculate the entity is the ultimate life force capable of changing everyone's life around.
Day, weeks, and even months passed. The entity gradually became larger, outgrowing the small cave.
Finally, the long awaited day arrived. The entity, which could no longer be housed in the small cave, spotted a small tunnel in the dark. Presumably, and preferably the exit. As if its desire to be freed was sensed by the universe, a strong force pulled it towards the exit of the dark cave.
The entity was beyond elated to have been freed. Tears poured out from its eyes like monsoon. Was it happiness from liberation? Sadness from sudden goodbye?
No one knows.

Writing Prompt: Societal Oppression
A/N : This is a poem I wrote after my friend gave me a topic "Silly me!"
Oh, Silly Me!
"Oh, Silly me!", I thought
Yes, thinking! I forgot
I'm not allowed to think alot.
"Oh, Silly me!", I said out loud
Yes, said it! loud and proud
But, voicing my thoughts?
That — I'm just not allowed.
Oh, Silly me!

Writing Prompt: Rivalry
A/N: This short story is my personal take on one-sided intense rivalry of a person who hates, yet is envious of his rival.
An Almost Perfect Day
It was a good day. I woke up quite early, took a cold, refreshing shower, ate my favorite egg sandwich for breakfast and made my way to my school.
The Economics teacher praised my curiosity; I stunned the Maths teacher with my quick thinking; Oh! and the usually stern Social Studies teacher acknowledged my insights in his class. It was a perfect day--
"Hey dude!"
An almost perfect day. I was interrupted.
"Did you do the English Assignment?"
The voice echoed inside my mind. Yes, of course, I never miss any.
"Man, was it tough!"
Nope, not at all. Did not break a sweat.
"Anywho, did you watch that show yesterday?"
No, I didn't. I was busy. Busy making sure I get ahead of you while you enjoy your show.
"Aw, man. Totes shoulda seen it!"
Sure, sure. I wish that too.
"By the way, Are ya up for a karaoke night?"
No, I'm not. I'm busy. Busy making sure I become better than you at something. At anything, at all.
"It's totally fine if you aren't, though!"
How very kind of you. Rejected the offer in my stead. Was the invitation just a formality, huh? Or was it to rub it off on me? Either way, I wasn't going anyway. I'm busy.
"Alright, pal. See ya 'round then."
I nod.
Because that is all I can do.
Just nod along.

Writing Prompt: Emotional Distress
A/N: I wrote this poem based on my personal experiences with emotional distresses which causes me to lose sight of colors. The world suddenly becomes a dimly lit room, not as vibrant and colorful as it would be before.
I can't see colors
Listless, yet oddly lively each morning, I pray
My town a monochrome — flavorless gray
Surely, I think, some green would reach
By noon, my prayers become a futile speech
Relentlessly carrying a hefty load, I pause
Seeking the meaning behind this —
an utter lost cause
Was the world always so dull and without glee?
Had the choice been mine; I just wouldn't agree
Vibrant sunsets, mystic forests, enchanting trees
Wishing that someday, well before the end of my lease
I could see them, then praise them and their allure
The underappreciated colors are my everything and more...
