I’m running on not much sleep at the moment, what with a slew of visitors in town and a busy schedule in general. People often ask “how do you do it? How do you fou out and stay out late so often?” ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Well, working out is really something that allows me to clear the cobwebs, sweat out the toxins, and energise. A few days later and I am still gobsmacked. I am beyond humbled to be included in this list of incredibly talented people, many of whom I am proud to call friends! Those who know me know that I love this industry and supported it wholeheartedly (and often whole bodily or so says my liver 😂). ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ While my path may have been unorthodox, the passion is what counts right? After growing up in an F&B family, then surviving (too) MANY years in the corporate world, I came back around to hospitality but on my own terms. Add on many more years (don’t forget I am old!😅) working just about every job in restaurants, front and back, and I am just where I want to be. It’s been a while since I did a class but this Sunday I am teaching one of my favourites, back by popular demand: KIMCHI!⁣ ⁣ I love fermentation and kimchi is one of the best examples of this process IMHO.
