I (unfortunately) like Adam and I saw your writing for him and I've had a stupid idea stuck in my head about a reader who aggressively flirts back with Adam.

like excessive pet names. not baby or babe or anything I'm talking Honey, sweet heart, sugar, and especially, for some reason, sugar tits. (IDK WHY I JUST FEEL LIKE IT WOULD SHUT HIM UP IF SOMEONE CALLED HIM SUGAR TITS)

Don't worry dear Anon, we all (unfortunately) love Adam on this blog. Its a blessing and a curse.

Adam needs a reboot after that I think.

If you match Adams original energy, leaning towards him, grinning wider, calling him nicknames, pet names, and things of the like. He would need a second to process before it becomes a contest.

'Oh alright then' you all know the line from ep 8 i'm referencing here right? The realisation that this is a true challenge that he's going to take seriously.

Trying to one up each other, sickly sweet nicknames, borderline derogatory ones, all in the name of attempting to make the other splutter and run out of words. Adam is laying it on thick, he's being vulgar in the hopes it makes you blush and stammer.

The second you use more feminine nicknames? You've won. Adam pauses mid sentence to process ' i- the fuck DID YOU JUST CALL ME? '

You call this man 'sugar tits' and hes staring at you like what in the holy hell heaven did you just say. He doesn't know whether to be pissed off or begrudgingly let you say it again.

Tired at the end of the day, would just flop down on the couch beside you and just accept the nicknames. ' how was your day, honey?' ' don't fuckin' call me honey- . . . it was fine '

Denies entirely that a part of him deep down likes hearing you call him pet names, even the slightly insulting ones, because it means Adam is getting attention from you.

And as we all know here on this blog, Adam is an attention whore who needs it 24/7/365 from now until the end of time, so as much as hes arguing with you over the names, if you halt using them, hes disappointed.

ꕥ ; Adam HATES your bad working habit, you’ll stay cooped up in your room for literal hours and days! you never take your eyes off the papers on your desk. the only time you actually come out just get coffee. Adam will use every excuse he can in the book so you’ll actually stop overworking yourself and come to bed with him or just eat something. but usually he’ll barge in with food he bought and set it on your desk, and use the time to spend time with you for awhile. but once he genuinely gets fed up with it he’ll just go behind your desk and snatch you up from your chair while obviously ignoring your protests. he’ll honestly straight up tell you that you need to stop your bad habits and that it’s actually starting to “piss him off” but later he’ll mumble that he actually cares about you just wants you stop. and once you promise that you’ll stop he’ll end up dragging you to bed with him cause he knows how many nights and mornings you’ve stayed up. but before you do that he’ll let you take care of yourself, like taking a shower, getting a change your clothes and brushing your hair. once that’s all taken care of he’ll literally never let you leave the bed all night, he genuinely couldn’t sleep at night when you weren’t with him. Often also leaving him restless like you. hell! even lute noticed how he isn’t like his usual self cause Adam genuinely missed your presence and he’s so glad that you’re finally back in his arms <3

ꕥ ; also Adam will try to make sera not give you so much work, which she’ll probably agree too. and once she does, he’ll probably start trying to convince you to take a break for once in awhile, or he’ll just take you out for awhile knowing that you’re stressed about all the work you’ve been given for the last couple of weeks. he’ll get you whatever you want! food?, already bought!,you want new outfits? He’ll buy it for you! literally whatever you want, just don’t stress about work <3

ꕥ ; it was maybe 3:00 am or 4:00am..? damn it you lost track of time already. you’ve been overworking yourself even more lately since sera decided to move down the stupid extermination day. and now while that’s happening you have to approve some other rules for heaven and other shit that you genuinely don’t care about, as you looked at the window from your pitch black office only some moonlight shining in you could see some early risers up and about in the city. but mostly it’s peaceful and quiet which youre glad about. as you turn your head away from the window.

you then see Adam right in front of you, which scares the LIVING. shit out of you which you almost screamed but you were very. tired to scream you noticed that Adams mask was sitting right on your desk which was piled in reports and other things you forgot about hours ago, Adam then spoke “can’t you just hold off the work for the night? It’s literally fucking almost 4:00am, cmon! just come to bed alreadyyy!” You sighed profusely before you spoke in a low tired voice “listen - Adam. you know how i have to finish these reports and documents so I can bring them all to sera tomorrow, I can’t come to bed with you yet.” you responded before looking down at the papers before you and when you tried to reach the pen across the desk - Adam then snatched it and threw it somewhere across the room and before you could protest - Adam then gently took your wrist bringing you around from the table and towards his chest and then wrapped his soft wings around your figure. which made you even more tired than before. you then started drifting off until you fully fell asleep in his arms..

ꕥ ; Adam knows that being in love with a sinner in hell is wrong, but he was like “i mean what the hell, it’s not like sera is gonna find out anyways.”, Adam has the will to visit you anytime, he also has the habit of bringing you into heaven but making sure that you both don’t get caught, so usually you both will spend time together in his room. he has once thought of you faking being an angel so you both could go out but he figured that sera and the higher ups will figure it out. so he’ll just quickly forget the thought but he still considers trying to do it one day, whenever he does visit you in hell he’ll randomly pop out of nowwhere from a portal, he doesn’t care where you are, it could be in public and this guy wouldn’t give two shits about those lowly sinners, you’re the only exception. and when the yearly extermination starts he’ll stray away from lute and the other female exterminations to go see you and probably he’ll probably randomly pull up to your apartment sipping on something, before saying “nice day we’re having huh?” sarcastically while you both can hear the screams of sinners in the city.

ꕥ ; honestly, Adam has thoughts of wanting you to get into heaven somehow so you don’t have to stay in that hell hole, but he knows how hard it is convincing his boss to make an exception for you. he has thought of getting lute to help him since she’s the only one that’s he’s actually close to and knows that she’ll agree, but he’ll continue this routine of you and him secretly dating for awhile. Also Adam loves to rant to you about how stupid and boring heaven duties are! like he’ll even trash talk about the princess of hell saying and how she “got a meeting” with his boss. “like I know right!? she literally went to my fucking boss and stared spitting all this kindergarten bullshit! "a soul from hell can be redeemed!" tough shit no they can’t be!” and then after he rambles for about probably half an hour he says “soo..you wanna fuck or what?”

Hi, so, I have been thinking about it ever since I read your Adam x Male Reader; how about some general headcannons for Adam teaching the Reader (preferably gender neutral) to play his electric guitar?

*stares at my inbox of literally 11 Adam requests and opinions, and that's not including all of the FIFTEEN requests for part two of the x male!reader*

this is what my life is now, and I don't hate it. So while I sit AFK in Palworld waiting for my little not-pokemon slaves to mine for me, here's some guitar headcanons :D Guitar is my own instrument of choice as well, so applying my own playing knowledge to it ^-^ also taking the ask of this anon to give y'all the playlist i listen to when i write Adam stuff. Its a collection of stuff I think he would listen to.

Adam is very much into rock / punk type music in my opinion. Maybe some light metal if he's feeling that's the mood for the day. Definitely anything with some heavy guitar solos, loud drums. The type of music that gets your blood going and drowns out all those pesky insecure thoughts. Music that strokes the ego and makes listeners impressed. Fremont Pike, Hot Mulligan, Nickleback, Set it Off, Papa Roach. Adam gives me those vibes. Specifically Animals by Nickleback and *equip sunglasses* by Hot Mulligan. Love those songs. Would be more then on board with teaching you how to play, 'its the best form of music in the fuckin' universe, babes, you gotta know'. Likely would be the one to bring it up rather then you asking to try to learn.

Hands you his guitar, which is the most gaudy, decorated, over-saturated thing in heaven. Bright golden, with silver strings, decorated with shining swirls of white ivory. It belongs to Adam, it has to be over-decorated and just . . . loud, in its design. It practically glows, and its edges shine with sharpness, betraying its double usage as an angelic axe.

This man does NOT understand the concept of learning from scratch. Adam unfortunately had the upper hand of being around when the instrument was invented, picking it up day one and learning immediately. He's been playing the damn thing so long he doesn't quite remember what its like to learn.

'how the fuck don't you know how to play A major, its like the most basic shit imaginable- holy fuck move your hand- no not- fucks sake just let me do it for you, you're impossible'

Adam gets way too close to you and basically forces your hand into the right position for the chord, 'see? not fuckin' difficult, okay now do D major' '. . . the fuck you mean whats D major?' Adam has zero patience and lacks any constitution that would help him be a good teacher. He's doing it out of frustration entirely and probably is grumbling the whole time.

Will end up taking his guitar back and playing for you to 'show you how easy it is'. Basically taking the chance to show off his own skill as well.

Overall, prefers to play rather then listen to someone else play, but, seeing you hold the guitar - something that is so unequivocally and undeniably Adams - wakes something up in his mind.

He will be SO petty about it, he DOES not care who it is, it could be lute and this guy isn’t afraid to just walk up to you both flip them off and literally drag you away and while he’s at it throw in some nasty remarks at them. he isn’t afraid to start a fight while on the prominent land. he knows that it could probably end in a stern talking to with the seraphim. but hey! he isn’t gonna let some jackass take you away from HIM. I mean who in their right mind would?? but seriously, Adam is a bit insecure at times. “what do you mean why did I drag you away from them!? they were being a total douche.”

ꕥ ; Adam wouldn’t admit to be jealous to you, his ego is too big and even if he did tell you his whole “tough guy” attuide would probably falter. however he will rant about it to lute for awhile. If lute suggested that he WAS. Jealous and just maybe overthinking it a little much, he would just deny it saying that he “wasn’t.” and making up random excuses and just stuttering while having his hands in a “🙏” kind of way like in ep 1. “Pfft what lute? I’m not jealous!” however he admits it anyways to her and once lute gives him advice he’s already on his way to find you !

ꕥ ; Adam would a LOT more clingy whenever you guys are in private, whenever you guys are just lazing around he’ll be laying on your stomach while youre just reading a book, his wings will be wrapped around you along with his hands on your waist, he’ll also be mumbling random curses at the person in a low voice but you’ll still be able to hear it. also expect random dumbass questions from him during the day.

ꕥ ; Honestly Adam Doesn’t really Care That you sleep a lot most of time, but he does get a bit pissed whenever he doesn’t see you for the entire day but then he finds you locked away in your room dead asleep, he also loves to wake you up in the most craziest ways, He randomly would blow a air horn in your ears, or just randomly stand over you and lean in till you awake and he just says “sup.” before you literally scream, or he likes to use his wings to make a gust of wind to knock you right off your bed! obviously not too hard to the point where you end getting hurt, it’s just harmless fun!

ꕥ ; whenever you both are in the city whenever it be shopping,walking,or just simply sitting down and talking. you always manage to drift off somehow! you and Adam were sitting at a random spot in one of heavens parks while he was eating and ranting about his day,while you slowly drift off to the sound of his voice. he suddenly pushes two fingers on your forehead before saying “jeez babe! don’t fall asleep yet!” then goes back to ranting about his day, he still makes sure to pay attention to you making sure you don’t fall asleep once again.

ꕥ ; when you and Adam are at the angelic courthouse listening to little princess morning star rant about her kindergarten bullshit in Adams words, he wouldn’t mind if you fell asleep on him. he would just let you either lay on his shoulders or lap, or he would just wrap his wings around you kinda using it as a pillow for you to lay on aswell. he doesn’t pay attention to it much but when people stare at you two he’s like “what the fuck are you all staring at? never seen a couple before in your lives?” and then obviously people just draw their attention away.

ꕥ ; Adam is very a heavy sleeper at times, he’ll wrap his wings and arms around you and will not wake up for at least a few hours, but since he’s the leader of the exterminator angels he usually has to get early to give out orders for the next extermination and other planning shit in his words. but when he doesn’t have to do those things he’ll spend the whole day cuddling up next to you and sleeping also if you have wings of your own he is definitely gonna grab onto them and use them as a pillow.

ꕥ ; also at times adam can move in his sleep a LOT. so it’s not surprising when you wake up in the morning and being on the floor or you’ll wake up in the process of him kicking you off the bed while In his sleep, rarely he’ll apologize for it which pisses you off sometimes and you do think of pushing him off the bed next time.

ꕥ ; adam trusts you a lot so he usually does sleep with his mask off, after all sleeping in a mask is very uncomfortable and his horns get in the way. so when he does go to sleep without his mask he usually wants you to run your fingers in his hair but his ego is too big to actually ask you but he usually just signals to you that he wants you to, and you always do end up getting the signal.

ꕥ ; Adam is absolutely FUCKING. livid when you retreat injured from a random extermination with one of other angels carrying you back and towards one of the medical areas in the city. once he finds out what happens he’ll swear he’ll kill the cunt who injured you and also gets information off every single. Exorcist who went down there that same day, but for now he’ll stay with you in your resting room once you wake up. and you’ll actually see him drop his douche attitude for a bit, he’ll bring you things that you ask for like medicine,some of your personal things,food,water basically whatever you want!

ꕥ ; Adam would probably make you not participate in the next extermination, he’ll straight up say “soooo..I decided not to include you in this next extermination.” Deadass while eating his ribs in front of your hospital bed, he also shuts down any of your protests and interrupt you every 30 seconds. he wants you to rest and get better but he’ll NEVER admit it cause of his ego, even if you notice his sudden nicer behavior, he would go back to being a douche so it’ll probably be best not to mention it.

ꕥ ; if you’re particular very stubborn and still move around while injured, he’d be so annoyed and dragging himself behind you while groaning in annoyance, once he gets fed up with you he’d deadass wanna make a scene in front of everyone but chose not to and decided to just drag you back by your wirst while cursing down his breath, he really does love you. but even he gets annoyed at your stubbornness. even if you try moving again once again he’ll literally just wrap his golden wings around you while holding you tightly while mumbling “can’t you just stop moving every 5 fucking seconds?”
