Levi Ackerman x Reader.
tw: mentions of death and war.
She sat in his favourite chair, clutching the arms just like he used to. Her heart felt like it was slowing down, the blood being pumped excruciatingly slow around her body. Her lips were parted as the two other men sat in the room, their faces expressing sorrow and sympathy for her.
Her husbands cloak lay on the coffee table in front of her, blood splattered in all the wrong places. She couldn’t take her eyes off of it. Just yesterday, he had been wearing this same cloak. It had hugged his shoulders the way she had wished to hug them once again for the past 3 years since he’d been away.
“y/n…” the blonde man spoke up, his voice caused a reaction within her as she shook her head at him violently, her eyes still glued on the green piece of tattered cloth in front of her. “don’t.” she whispered out.
“y/n, i know this hard-“
“shut up, erwin.”
Her voice came out shakey and breathy, it was high pitched. The shock and horror of the news delivered to her was like a nightmare that she wished she’d just wake up from already. She wanted to cry and scream, but for some reason her brain rejected the idea. The thought of her once invincible husband dying was… unacceptable. This must be some sick joke.
“h.. how..?” She shut her eyes, the green cloak now becoming an eye sore to her. She didn’t want to accept it but- that was his blood. Wasn’t it?
“a grenade blew up near him… shrapnel pierced his heart.” the blonde man hesitantly put, his voice dripping in distraught. Of course she knew it was hard for him too, he and her husband had been good friends since they’d moved out the underground city.
“this was.. a letter he wrote.” the second man finally spoke up, pulling out a tattered letter from his breast pocket and slowly reaching it out for her to take. She took it with both hands, treating the letter as if it would break and fall apart at any given moment.
“did you…?”
“no.”
Of course they hadn’t read it- or they had and they were lying. Either way, she didn’t care. Unfolding the paper, she let out a breath. The sight of his handwriting was refreshing, but only for a few seconds. That feeling immediately came crashing down the minute she began to read the letter.
To my dear wife
I hope you are well. I am doing fine, as healthy was i was when i left. Don’t worry about me, please eat well.
I’m writing to you every week in hopes of this war ending soon. It seems our enemies are growing tired.
I hope to take you out for a fancy meal soon, as i told you in last week’s letter, i will be returning home for a month soon. Luckily, i was granted a leave of absence.
We are currently getting ready to advance within the front lines and take the trenches 50 feet ahead of us.
Do not worry, my love. I am a captain for a reason, i will survive this just as i have survived everything else.
I love you.
From your husband,
Levi Ackerman.
“i love you too…” she whispered out, her ring finger hovering over the words he had written. Tears ran down her cheeks as she wept silently. “he was supposed to return tomorrow..” She whispered out as she folded the paper down, holding it gently to her chest.
“he.. was supposed to return tomorrow!” she yelled out, her crying growing louder and louder as she slipped out of the chair, landing on the floor with a thud. “i brought a new dress and everything… how could he.. die without seeing it?!”
“y/n…”
“how could he leave me, erwin?!”
The two men sat silently as they watched the frantic women cry as she held the letter to her chest. Her makeup streaked down her face, leaving thick marks of black against her cheek.
With a shakey hand, she reached for the cloak sat atop the coffee table. Gently taking it into her hands, she felt its ragged material. How he had to endure this horrible fabric for years she thought, her emotions growing sadder and sadder.
There was a hole within the cloak. It cut where his heart would’ve sat. “oh god…” she sobbed as she looked away from the cloak, her breathing uneven. “oh, my dear levi..” she cried.
He was gone, and all she could do was sob.

Tooru Oikawa x Ballerina! Reader - one shot
⋆⁺。˚⋆˙‧₊☽ ◯ ☾₊‧˙⋆˚。⁺⋆
she was mesmerising to him. with every step she took, he came closer to the edge of his seat. with every twirl, with every pose- she became intoxicating to him. he couldn’t take his eyes off of her.
her movements were so smooth, so swift. he didn’t know someone could move as well as she did, the control she had on her body was almost unbelievable. sure he was also good at controlling his body- the sport of volleyball demanded it- but she was on a completely different level.
“can i help you, young man?”
a voice snapped oikawa out of his trance. an older woman stood beside him, her hands on her hips as she stared him down, challenging his existence in her hall. “i’m sorry, ma’am…” oikawa apologised, his eyes darting back to the girl bending her knees. “i seem to have gotten lost.” he continued, his eyes glued to her.
“well, where are you trying to go?”
“the volleyball try outs, ma’am.” he turned back to the woman, holding up the sheet of paper in his hands. “you’re in the wrong building. nobutero’s wretched gymnasium is on the west, you’re in the east building.” she clicked her tongue. “right.. thank you.” he bowed his head out of embarrassment, giving the girl one last glance before turning away.
'𝙒𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙞 𝙨𝙚𝙚 𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣?' he thought to himself.
“straighten your back!” the older woman snapped as she returned to her students. y/n had practiced ballet since she was a child, she knew everything about the arts and yet she still felt as if she wasn’t good enough. it was either her posture or her twirl, she always found herself under immense stress. now that she was starting high school, she was also joining a new ballet environment with an even stricter teacher than her last.
still, she vowed to try her best and become the most admired ballerina in her school, or even the city. “alright, that’s enough for today. i will see you all tomorrow bright and early.” the woman snapped her fingers.
y/n watched as everyone left the gymnasium. she had made it a habit to stay back and practice longer. she wasn’t going to become the best by stopping when everyone else did. the only way she would stop was when her knees gave out.
“y/n, aren’t you going to go?”
“no ma’am. i will rest a little and get back to practice- if that’s okay.” she quickly corrected as the woman nodded and handed a set of keys to her. “lock up once you’re finished. i’m leaving.” she waved, heading out of the gymnasium.
by the time she was done, the clock had hit 6:30. she was satisfied with her practice for the day and decided to finally go home. the changing rooms were down the hall, which was the worst part since walking was always a pain after practice. everything down to her toes were sore until the next morning.
“hey.. you’re the ballerina girl.”
looking up, she saw a brown haired boy looking down at her, a small duffel bag under his arm. “do i know you?” she questioned as she continued walking out of the school gates. “no- i saw you practicing. you’re amazing.” she caught up to her side.
“thank you… are you part of the volleyball team?” she pointed down at the volleyball sticking out of his duffel bag, blocking the zip from going all the way. “oh yes- you’re looking at the new captain of the volleyball team.” he proudly put. “already? you must be really good then?”
“you can come watch me play volleyball sometime.”
“you can’t catch me dead on a volleyball court.”
the two hadn’t realised it but they continued on in the same path, reaching the same destination. they were neighbours. being neighbours was fun for the two until their second year of high school, even worse when it was their third year. y/n swore oikawa was her arch nemesis sent by God to provoke her all day and oikawa swore the exact same thing.
“morning, nutcracker.” oikawa winked at y/n as they left their homes at the same time. she rolled her eyes at his nickname, choosing to ignore him and continue on her way to school. exam season was coming up and she didn’t have time to entertain his ‘banter’. she had to get into a good school with a good ballet program.
“not even a ‘go to hell, tooru’?” he laughed as he caught up to her side, walking side by side. “do you have to follow me?” she grimaced at him as he shoved his hands into his pockets. “i’m not following you, we go to the same school.”
“well can’t you walk further away from me?” she groaned as he shook his head. “why would i do that? it would be such a boring walk to school without you cursing me out.” he smirked.
as they walked to school, side by side, y/n decided to stay silent the entire time while oikawa continued talking. “okay we’re here now, can you go bother your fangirls now?” she looked up around him, clutching the duffel bag straps hanging on her shoulder. “would it kill you to be nice to me?”
“yes. im leaving now. bye.” she rolled her eyes at him, turning and walking away before he could say anything else to her. she didn’t know why she was always so bitter when she was talking to him, she knew she didn’t mind his eccentric personality, she had even liked it before she decided to completely hate his guts.
maybe it was because of the girls always sticking by his side? maybe it was because of what they did to her two years ago- she had thought she had gotten over that but thinking of it seemed to have a nasty effect on her stomach.
“hey ballerina, what are you doing later today?” y/n looked up from her desk to see iwaizumi smiling down at her. she had gotten to know him more this past year since they were sitting next to each other during classes. “practice.. probably. i still need to perfect my form.”
“why do you put yourself through so much agony? you won’t be able to perfect your form and you know it.”
“shut up, iwa.”
sighing, he sat down on his seat, keeping his eyes straight while y/n fiddled with her pen and the piece of paper in front of her. “what are you signing?” iwaizumi leaned over to read the words on the paper.
“im applying for the schools production of swan lake next week.” iwaizumi didn’t respond, his shoulders slumped and he stared at her with pity. there was no way she was going to get accepted for any role, he knew it and she knew it. “y/n-“
“i know what you’re going to say. don’t. i’m better now, it was two years ago and my legs have healed since then. sure… the doctors said i can’t but what the hell do they know?” she snorts out a forced laugh, shoving the signed paper into her bag. “i’m sorry.”
“why are you sorry? you didn’t do anything. oikawa did. oikawa and his fanclub.” she leans back in her seat, turning her head to face iwaizumi. “why don’t you come and watch our volleyball practice after school today? i’ll buy you an ice cream?” he raises his eyebrows at her and she scoffs at him. “i have my own practice, thanks.”
y/n sat in the girls changing rooms, examining her legs, the white tights half up her calf. her hands tightened around the white material as she inspected the faint marks left on her legs from two years ago. shaking her head, she pulled up the white tights and finished getting dressed for her practice.
when she reached the hall, it was completely empty. she preferred it that way. as she began stretching out her limbs, she could feel the muscles within her legs tighten. it wasn’t a good idea for her to be here, yet she couldn’t keep away. she constantly found that the mirrors reflecting her image would call her name, as well as the hardwood floors she used to glide upon summoning her. she yearned to be able to be a ballerina again.
still- simple biology denied her of that and half an hour into her practice she found her legs giving out from underneath her, throbbing with pain and begging her to stop.
tears slipped down her cheeks as she gave in, her body lying against the cold floor. her dreams were ruined, all because two years ago she liked a boy and all because that boy liked her back-
“y/n…”
-and there he was, looking down at her as she weeped on the floor. oikawa wasted no time in finding his spot beside her, his arms wrapped around her shaky shoulders. “oh, y/n, i’m so sorry.” he breathed out. he blamed himself for the loss of her aspirations.
two years ago, a group of girls from their school approached her, confronting her about her emotions towards him. of course they were deeply passionate about the boy, they didn’t like the fact that she was so close to him. so they decided to send a message by ruining her life, stomping on her legs over and over again until all she knew was to beg for them to stop. they ran away and left her there, in the schools storage closet, by herself.
oikawa found her later, but it was already too late and she blamed him. the doctors told her that she wouldn’t be able to dance how she used to, her muscles were too damaged.
“it’s not your fault, tooru.” were words oikawa never expected to hear from her. yet here she was, saying them while he held her in his arms. “i guess ill just work towards becoming a doctor.. like my dad wants.” she joked, forcing out a laugh and wiping away her tears. he pulled away from the hug, looking down at her with eyes that she couldn’t read.
“do you want me to take you home?” he questioned, his hands still holding onto her as if if he were to let her go, he’d lose her once again. “no, i want to watch you play volleyball.” she spoke, her eyes gliding over his facial features before landing on his lips for a few seconds. “.. are you sure?” he raised a brow at her, remembering her words from the first time they met. “yes, i am.”
“so? how was i?” oikawa heaved out as he sat beside y/n. the volleyball practice was finally over and everyone could tell oikawa had tried extra hard this time to impress a certain someone, everyone could tell except that certain someone. “you were great, tooru, seriously. i didn’t know you could move like that.” she laughed, nodding at him. “come on, lets walk home.”
“aren’t you going to wait for your teammates?”
“what? no. they go in the opposite direction anyway. lets go.” he grinned down at her. the two walked side by side, laughing and making jokes like they had before. y/n could feel her heart flutter just like it had two years ago when she would hear his real laugh, not the one he faked with others.
“i’ll see you tomorrow then…” oikawa stopped as he realised they had reached their destination. “yes, just like you always do.” she sighed, hinting somewhat disappointed in his voice. “hey… by the way, i’m sorry. again-“
y/n didn’t let him finish his sentence, grabbing ahold of his windbreaker and pulling him down so that their lips could crash against one another. the cold breeze flew past them as she kissed him, almost immediately feeling his lips move against hers. oikawa’s hands found her waist as he pulled her closer to him, afraid that she’d pull away any minute.
“i already told you to stop apologising.” she smiled as she pulled away from him, walking up the steps to her front door. “ill see you tomorrow, tooru.” she said cooly before closing the door. she could feel her entire body grow hot, her face turning red. she couldn’t believe that she had just kissed him- and he had kissed back.

FOUR // Levi Ackerman x Reader
⋆⁺。˚⋆˙‧₊☽ ◯ ☾₊‧˙⋆˚。⁺⋆
you arrive at the venue, wearing a black, ankle length dress you had borrowed from sasha and your mothers pearls, your hair styled into a fancy wave. "thank you." you pay your taxi driver as you exit the car and quickly speed-walk into the building.
"ms laurier, you're finally here." the venue manager smiles once he sees you enter the building. "yes, how is everything going? have people arrived?" you whisper as he nods. "mr ackerman is giving his speech right now, he's advised me to quietly show you to your seat." he nods and motions for you to follow him.
"i have to sit here?" you frown as you look down at eren who sat beside your allocated seat. "just sit down, suki." eren rolls his eyes as you scoff at him. before you could speak up a bright light shines on you, everyones eyes turning to you.
"of course, i have to credit my wonderful assistant, suki laurier, for organising this entire event- she's been wonderful." levi claps, causing everyone else in the room to also applaud your hard work. you couldn't help but smile, thanking everyone and quickly sitting down, wanting to take all the attention off of you.
"you look nice."
"can it." you scowl at eren as he crosses his arms. "i can't even pay you a compliment?" he raises a brow as you nod. "you think i want a compliment from you? you know what, excuse me, i need to go freshen up." you say and walk off, not allowing another word out of him.
"suki!"
turning around, you see yuta rushing your way, a bright smile on his face. "oh- hello." you awkwardly greet. "you look... stunning-"
"im sorry, sir, but im afraid i can't be with you... romantically." you quickly shut him down, not wanting to unintentionally lead him on.
"why not? you were willing to go out with me this morning."
"you're the president of a prestigious company, i'm the assistant of one of your partners. not only that but you're probably also as well known as mr ackerman- do you realise how bad it would be for your image?" you quietly explain as he chuckles. "you think i care about my image if it meant not being able to take a beautiful woman like you to dinner?"
you open your mouth to answer but you're unable to come up with an excuse. straightening your back, you clear your throat. "i'm sorry, sir, but it would be unethical and highly inappropriate. now if you would excuse me..." you say as politely as possible before entering the woman's restroom where you took in a deep breath of relief.
tonight you were going to drink.
after a few hours of being at this event, you found yourself half asleep at your table, your head resting against the table. you had about 7 drinks of the fancy champagne levi had you search far and wide for and champagne usually made you either really sleepy or really horny.
"look at this loser." you heard connie snicker as he sat beside you. of course he was also invited to this event, as your best friend, he immediately took your plus one and showed up half an hour late. "laurier, you wanna get up or no?" he nudged your shoulder, groaning at him, you pushed his hands away. "come on, suki. i need to get you home."
"ugh just leave me alone connie!" you lazily sit up, your eyes still shut as you slump in your seat. "suki you're attracting attention." he whisper yelled as you push yourself up and stumble away from him, wanting to desperately get away from him. connie hated dealing with you when you were drunk- you were practically impossible and he made sure to let you know the next morning when you were severely hungover.
you had managed to get away from the boy, finding yourself in a random and empty hallway. leaning against the wall, you slide down it, your body urging you to fall asleep right there and then.
you could've sworn that you could and you would if you were to be left alone for at least five minutes. unfortunately, you internally groaned as you heard your name being called once more, this time from a deeper voice than connies.
"why won't people leave me alone-" you rolled your eyes as the figure knelt down beside you. trying to focus your eyes, you notice familiar black locks in front of you. levi had his blazer resting over his forearm, his tie now laying over both shoulders- untied and the first three buttons unbuttoned. he seemed to have drunk a little himself, but was still able to keep his composure.
"what are you doing here?" he questioned slowly, sighing. "oh mr ackerman..." you smirk. "have you always looked so..." you trail off, squinting your eyes at him. "so what?" he tilted his head, the alcohol in his system reddening his cheeks. "so sexy." you laugh out as he follows your laughter with a hum. "don't say something you'll regret, laurier."
"ugh... laurier this laurier that... a sexy man like you should call me suki." you poke his chest with the tip of your index finger. "suki? that's unprofessional." he scoffs. "you're so... strict... its so hot..." you hum as he shakes his head. "you're ridiculous."
finally, the alcohol took over your system, clouding your mind with lewd thoughts of your boss as he knelt down in front of you, watching as you leaned forward, unexpectedly connecting your lips with his. you were both too drunk to move, obviously too tired to argue over your drunken actions. levi didn't know if he even wanted to argue over them.
your lips connected for a only a few seconds before you slightly pulled away, his lips hovering over yours. levi let out a tired grumble as he felt your head hit his chest- you had somehow fallen asleep. coming to his senses, he pushed himself up off of his knees, causing your body to hit the floor in front of him. he stumbled away from you, finding someone who could be responsible for you before leaving the venue.
you woke up to the familiar unpleasant feeling of the sun shining down onto your face.
"good morning sleepy head!" connies voice boomed throughout your room, awakening the headache that reminded you of your drinking last night. "oh- could you be any louder?" you cover your face with your blanket but soon feel it being snatched off of you. "get your ass up, we're going to be late for work."
your body shot up, your eyes wide as you remember certain fragments of last night. "fuck fuck fuck!" you grab your head and bury it in your knees. "what? what?" connie furrows his brows as he watches you visibly freak out. "i... i can't go to work today... or ever actually! you're just going to have to pronounce me as dead." you shrug as connie crosses his arms.
"are you going to tell me what's going on?"
biting down on your lower lip, you slowly explain the situation to connie, his eyes widening more and more with each sentence. "man... you're such a slut." he laughs as he claps his hands together. "what am i going to do?! for gods sake connie i kissed my boss after calling him sexy!" you groan into your palms as he shakes his head with a determined expression.
"okay, no... it'll be fine. you just act like you don't remember anything- and if he confronts you about it you just apologise." he suggests with a wave of his hands. "thats the best you can come up with?" you grimace as he scowls down at you. "what do you propose then, genius?"
both you and connie had settled on acting like you couldn't remember your actions last night. when you got to work, you made sure to keep your head low and behind your computer. you didn't want to see levi what so ever, every time the elevator doors opened you felt your heart stop for a second.
even after an hour, levi didn't show up. this was highly unlike him, even when he had a fever, he showed up on time.
"is he in his office?" you question to yourself, your eyes shifting from the elevator doors to his office doors. did he come in early?
standing up, you slowly make your way to his office, glancing through the glass on the door. your eyes widen at the sight of him sitting at his desk, reading a book. you couldn't take your eyes off of him as he put the book down and picked up his phone that was resting on his desk. after a few seconds, you feel your phone vibrate in your pocket.
standing up straight, you unlock your phone to see a message from levi.
boss man: stop staring and come inside.
gasping, your gaze shifts repeatedly from the door to your phone before you finally decide to grow a pair and walk in, shoving your phone into your pocket.
"you wanted to see me, sir?" you question politely as he leans forward over his desk, motioning for you to take a seat in front of him. you do so awkwardly and clear your throat, waiting for him to speak up. however, it seemed like his plan was for you to talk first.
"sir-"
"lau-"
you both cut each other off. "go on." he says as you straighten your posture. "mr ackerman... about last night." you begin, nervously fiddling with the fabric of your trousers. "i... was drunk and irresponsible. i apologise sincerely and i really hope you consider keeping me as an employee, however, i understand should you terminate my contract right here, right now. yesterday was a huge mistake and i assure you it'll never happen again." you state strongly, feeling confident in yourself.
levi leans back in his chair, his arms crossed as he nods, taking a moment to process your words. "i never realised how horrible kissing me was." he says, catching you off guard. "e-excuse me?" you stutter as he shakes his head. "was i a bad kisser? because i was drunk too, ms laurier." he tilts his head and you look away from him, embarrassed.
"no, it was a great kiss! i mean- not a great kiss, it's not like i enjoyed it that much- i mean of course i enjoyed it, who wouldn't want to kiss you- oh my god stop talking!" you stumble over each sentence, jumping up from your seat and excusing yourself before rushing out of the room.
levi couldn't help but stifle a short laugh as he watched you rush off, your face completely red. he didn't know how to admit the fact that what he just witnessed was beyond amusing- almost cute.

THREE // Levi Ackerman x Reader
chap four —> https://www.tumblr.com/w1shes0/768055684961124352/four-levi-ackerman-x-reader
⋆⁺。˚⋆˙‧₊☽ ◯ ☾₊‧˙⋆˚。⁺⋆
it was the third week of your job as levi's assistant and you already hated your daily routine of waking up at 6:30, rushing to get ready, buying your boss a tea and then taking it all the way to the 67th floor where he would then show up 5 minutes later with a 'good morning ms laurier'.
groaning into your pillow at the sound of your alarm, you slam your hand down onto it. if it wasn't bad enough that you were dreading going to work, you were also catching somewhat of a heavy cold.
maybe i should call in sick... you thought to yourself but immediately decided against it as today was going to be packed with you running about trying to get everything ready for tonights event where all of levis rich associates would gather in one big glamorous hall and celebrate their new found fortune in levis new model going worldwide.
it was also a way for people to talk business. very cliche.
you got ready for work, deciding to wear a skirt this time since it was going to be very hot. you didn't want to wear heels but the last time you didn't, you were scolded. apparently being in multiple meetings alongside levi meant having to be presentable and wearing anything flat was not going to cut it. still you decided to wear kitten heels- at least they were somewhat comfortable.
"come on, murphy, off to the neighbours you go." you pick up your cat from the couch, heading out of the apartment. just like every other day, the door opens before you could even knock and your elderly neighbour, ms ito, swings the door open with a wide smile. "thank you, ms ito." she takes murphy and wishes you a good day before shutting the door.
since you usually got home late, ms ito volunteered to take care of murphy until you finished work. she was very sweet.
you got to the cafe and ordered the regular.
"excuse me-"
you felt a tap on your shoulder, turning you see a man, around your age, smiling down at you. "can i help you?" you ask as he nervously looks down at his feet before looking back up at you. "er.. i just wanted to ask if i could take you out to dinner?"
taken aback, you nervously laugh. "are you asking me out?"
"trying to... my name is yuta." he extends his hand and you shake it with a smile. "nice to meet you, yuta.
i'm-"
you get cut off by the bartender yelling "suki, your order!"
"suki?" he chuckles as you nod, taking the cup of tea. "here's my number, i'd love to go to dinner." you write your number down into his phone as he patiently waits. "i'm going to be late. see you later, yuta." you wave and walk out of the cafe, your face flushed red.
you feel your phone ring in your pocket and pull it out to see levi calling you. "good morning, sir." you answer. "you're late, laurier." he speaks as you curse under your breath and check the time. confused, you reply back, "sir, i'm not late?"
"i got here before you, therefore you are late."
sighing you rolling your eyes at the phone. "laurier, don't roll your eyes at me."
looking frantically around you, you try to find where exactly he saw you rolling your eyes at him. "across the street." he finally speaks up after seeing that you couldn't spot him. "oh- i'm sorry, sir! i wasn't rolling my eyes at you! something flew in there." you lie as he shakes his head at you, hanging up the phone.
you quickly cross the street after the little man turns green and catch up with levi who had already entered the building.
"your tea, sir." you hand it to him. "so what are we doing first?" you question as you both wait for the elevator. "you will be going back and forth from the venue. i told you this yesterday, you will be very busy today. i have back to back meetings today with some of the partners from korea so i will be meeting you at the venue half and hour before everything starts." he explains.
"wait, sir- i have to be at the celebration tonight?" you question, furrowing your brows. "yes? you didn't know this?" he asks, looking over to you. "of course i did- i was just making sure." you nervously chuckle and finally the elevator doors open.
"oh- if you see erwin and hange, let them know i'm looking for them." he speaks up as the elevator doors close on the both of you. it was a silent ride up to the 67th floor. of course you were quite fidgety but levi stood completely still the entire time, his hands eloquently in his pockets.
the doors finally open and you let out a breath of relief as the both of you exit. "by the way, you have a plus one to the event like everyone else, invite whoever you want." he turns to nod at you as you thank him before he disappears into his office.
the entire day did consist of you rushing back and forth from the building to the venue and you were constantly on the phone sorting things out with everyone- caterers, decorators, venue managers etc.
"no! i said blue flowers on the table, blue! what are you not getting?!" you hang up the phone out of frustration and shove your phone into your pocket, covering your face with your palms and groaning into them.
"woah, you okay?"
"yuta?" you furrow your brows at the man standing in front of you. "what are you doing here?" you question as he chuckles. "i'm on my way to work right now... i decided to take this short cut and luckily you were here." he flashes a smile as you sigh and nod. "right- sorry, i'm okay, just a little stressed because of work." you frown as he nods.
"i actually have to go back to the office right now."
"i guess we're going in the same direction." he points as you nod. the two of you walk side by side, making typical conversation as you explain to him your frustrations.
"i'm going to a similar event tonight actually, what a coincidence." he laughs as you roll your eyes. "how funny would it be if you were going to the one that i'm putting together?"
"anyways, this is where i work." you stop at a building as he looks up at it. "you work here?" he asks and you nod. "great, i'm actually here for a meeting." he smiles as you tilt your head at him. "what do you mean?"
"i'm here for Mr Ackerman, to discuss our companies working together." he shrugs, as if no big deal that he just revealed he owned a company and worked side by side with your boss.
"oh.. you know- something just came up, i have to go back to the venue- i'll see you la... ill see you, sir." you quickly rush off, disappointed at the fact that you'd never be able to go out with him now, the class divide was too wide for you to accept.
you could feel yutas eyes burning holes into the back of your head as you walked off, quickly turning the corner into the alley beside the building. you felt deeply embarrassed at how you handled yourself after finding out about his occupation- the worst part was you still needed to go into the building and talk to levi who would be talking to yuta.
pulling out your phone, you dial his number and press the device to your ear.
"ms laurier? make it quick i'm currently going to a meeting."
"sir- the caterers would like to know if it would be more appropriate to serve steaks or salmon?" you ask him, hearing a hum before he responds with "salmon."
"oh- and... ms zoe has requested for her seating to be beside you- would you be okay with me changing it?" you bite down on your nail. "hange? yes, that's fine."
"oh and-"
"ms laurier, why don't you just come into the building so we can talk in person rather than on the phone. it seems like you have a lot of questions." he interrupts and before you could respond you hear the 'click' that indicates he had hung up the phone. "jerk." you shove your phone into your pocket and head back for the entrance.
a few seconds pass and you decide to just go back to the venue and guess all the decisions that levi would be happy with- it would be better than you standing awkwardly beside levi while yuta discusses partnership with him.

TWO // Levi Ackerman x Reader
(chap three —> https://www.tumblr.com/w1shes0/767992044345081856/three-levi-ackerman-x-reader )
⋆⁺。˚⋆˙‧₊☽ ◯ ☾₊‧˙⋆˚。⁺⋆
you had made sure to go into work half an hour early the next morning, being late on your very first day was something you just could not live with.
once you got to your new desk, you saw that petra had left a note taped to the computer screen. "your login will be your email and the password is 123 (you will get to change this later) ps. make sure to get mr ackerman a tea before he arrives- no sugar." you read out loud.
before you got settled down, you made sure to quickly head over to the cafe across the street from your building, buying a single tea and a coffee, and then heading back to your desk.
"should i leave the tea in his office?" you mumbled to yourself as you looked down at the cup in your hands. shrugging, you slowly opened the door, peering inside to see an isolated room. quickly, you placed the tea onto his desk, peering down at the decorations he had lined neatly at the front of his desk. there was a picture with what you could only guess was his mother and himself as a young child.
'cute' you thought to yourself before rushing out. he didn't look like a man who would want you in his office without permission.
half an hour later, levi walked out of the elevator, stopping by your desk. "good morning, ms laurier." he nodded towards you as you stood up and greeted him back. "good morning sir, you have an appointment at 1 o'clock today with a Mr Woods from America- then at 3:30 you have a meeting with Mr Erwin Smith who will be accompanied by Ms Hange Zoe." you inform him as he nods. "push the 1o'clock to 2. i have a head ache." he says before heading into his office.
a few minutes later he comes out, his brows furrowed and the cup you had placed on his desk in his hand.
"ms laurier." he called out as he angrily walked over to your desk before practically slamming the cup down onto your desk. "yes... mr ackerman? is there something wrong with the tea?" you question. "its cold. unacceptable- also this is jasmine. i don't drink jasmine tea- i drink black tea. also you do not put any sort of drink down onto my desk without a coaster. remember these for next time and bring me another tea." he ordered before marching back into his office.
scoffing, you grab the tea and throw it into the trash beside you before wiping down the few drops that had unfortunately landed onto your own desk. "you're the one who came half and hour later." you mumbled to yourself.
"here you are, sir. i'm sorry about earlier." you hand him the tea as he takes a sip from it and nods, placing it onto his desk, a wooden coaster underneath it. "did you push the appointment with woods?" he questions, his focus still on the papers in front of him. "yes i did, on my way to the cafe. mr woods said that it's fine but it'll have to be shorter as he's got another appointment at 3." you explain as he nods. "good, i can't stand that guy anyway."
"you may go." he waves you away after a few seconds of silence, in which you quickly rush out of his office.
as you take a seat at your desk, you hear your name being called out down the hall. "connie!" you smile as he approaches you. "so, how is your first day going so far?" he questions as he leans against your desk.
"well... so far i've managed to mess up a tea order and also apparently ruin his desk by not using a coaster, but at least i got the appointments and meetings under control." you purse your lips as he chuckles. "you'll get used to it, i've talked to the big boss a few times and he's good once you get to know him."
"connie.. those few times were you telling him that your department is doing 'decent' during his monthly check ins." you roll your eyes as he stands up straight. "the point is... you get used to being yelled at for tea orders."
"ms laurier, i'm- mr spinger? what are you doing up here? you're located on the 10th floor." levi walks out of his office and towards your desk.
"oh, hello boss! i was just wishing my friend here good luck on her first day." he nervously explained, you had never seen connies posture so straight before, it was almost laughable.
"he was just leaving, sir," you glare at connie as he bids levi goodbye and rushes for the elevator. "was there something wrong?" you question as he shakes his head. "no... no, i was just heading over to floor 20, the new model has been made." he turned back to you. "you will be accompanying me."
"right, i go wherever you go." you remember as he nods. "so the new model? did you design it?"
"i design all of my car models. the only ones i have had assistance with are the 14' series."
you silently nodded, astonished at the amount of talent this man carries. not only is he practically a genius, he's also insanely good looking.
it took the elevator a while to get down to the 20th floor, in which the two of you stayed completely silent. it was extremely awkward for you but it seemed like levi was comfortable in the silence. once the doors opened, you let out the breath you didn't realise you had been holding and followed him out.
"i want your opinion on the car, so when we get in there make sure you really analyse it." he turned to look at you as he spoke. you nod and grip your shirt fabric as he stops at a door, pushing it open.
"mr ackerman!" a man rushes to his side, a bright smile on his face, you had your eyes focusing on your shoes out of nervousness. "hello jeager." he greets. the familiar name immediately made your head snap towards the man.
"oh my god.. eren?!" you exclaim as his smile fades. "suki..." his eyes widen as you hold your breath. "oh wow.. you work here?" you question as he nods. "your.. the new assistant."
"you two know each other?" levi asks. "yes.. eren- he's an old friend." you turn to your boss as he nods. "you two can catch up later. for now, jeager i'd like to see the car. i was told it was done." he says as eren immediately snaps back into a professional posture, motioning for levi to follow him.
the 20th floor was completely different to every other floor, it was solely built for the making and transporting of new cars. the models get made and taken down through a special elevator that leads out into the garage directly from the 20th floor in which the car is then taken to the showroom besides the building. once its green lighted, the car is then mass produced and sold world wide- so far every single car levi ackerman has come up with has been a great success.
"what do you think, suki?" levi turns to you after eren shows him the car thoroughly. "i think its amazing, truly. the paint job, the leather seats... the design is immaculate." you nod as he nods. "you don't have anything negative to say about it?" he asks and you shake your head.
"alright. jeager, safely transport the car. i don't want to hear anything about the car being scratched while in the moving process like last time." he says before walking past him and towards the exit, you quickly follow him, giving eren one last glance.
"you can go off to lunch, laurier. i'll be in my office until 2. i want you to meet me at the conference room by 2. bring me a black coffee." he says and you thank him before rushing down to the canteen where you saw connie.
slapping him on the shoulder, he turns around, a pained expression. "oh, suki!" he grins. "you idiot, how could you suggest this job to me while knowing that eren works here?!" you point your finger at him as he rolls his eyes. "oh you met him did you... look, you needed a job so i got you a job. if you two can't act civil that's not my fault." he shrugs as you scowl at him.
"come on go get your food and sit down." connie ushered you after no response. rolling your eyes at him, you turned away and angrily gathered your food. your new resolve was to avoid eren at all cost.
it shouldn't be too hard... you thought to yourself. he did work on the 20th floor whilst you were up on the 67th- practically hours apart— or that was what you told yourself at least.
"hey newbie, hows it going with the big boss?" you heard a male voice behind you. turning, you see a man grinning down at you with petra beside him. "oluo, she has a name." petra rolls her eyes as she places her tray of food beside yours, sitting down. "but, really, how is it going? he's not giving you a hard time is he?" she asked you, her expression and tone soft. you gulp down the food you had been chewing and clear your throat.
"it's going... great. sometimes he gets unnecessarily mad but i've learnt to just deal with it." you smile as she nods. she offers you some more advice before wishing you good luck and moving to a different table. you continue your conversation with connie before realising that your break was over soon.

"i'm so sorry!" you apologised yet again to another person as you rushed down the pristine hallways, the pencil skirt restricting most of your movements. you were late to a very important interview, you needed this job in order to keep your apartment as well as afford food for the week.
and yet you were late.
stopping at the elevator doors, you catch you breath, pressing on the button multiple times in an attempt to make it open faster. as you got on, so did another person. wow, he looks important. you thought to yourself as the doors shut.
"do you need me to press any-"
"no, i'm also going to floor 37." he politely answered as you nod and keep your hands to your sides, his presence was somehow causing you to feel tense and uncomfortable. he looked down at the watch on his wrist, clicking his tongue and shoving his hand back into his pocket.
the elevator doors finally opened and you rushed out, making your way to the woman sat behind the black, marble counter.
"hello- i'm here for an interview." you force a smile. you glance at your watch and silently congratulate yourself for making it on time by a mere 30 seconds.
"you must be ms laurier?" she smiles up at you after a few clicks on her computer. "yes, suki laurier." you nod as she steps out from behind the counter, stretching her hand out for you to shake.
"its nice to meet you ms laurier, my name is petra ral. i'm the current assistant, you'll be taking my job if everything goes well with your interview." she introduces herself. "oh, may i ask why you are leaving?" you question quietly as if the words escaping your mouth were illegal.
"i'm just being transferred to a higher department.. you'll see me around." she smiles as she motions for you to take a seat in an area that looked like a waiting room. "wait here, i just need to make sure everything is set up." she smiles before walking off and into the room a little down the hall.
fanning your face, you try to calm your nerves. you pull our your phone to see a heap of texts from your friend, connie springer, who actually told you about this job. he worked in the same building, just in a more 'office-y' part.
"ms laurier, we're ready for you." you hear your name being called out. you hurriedly shove your phone back into your coat pocket and rush towards petras side as she held the door open for you.
to your surprise, the man in the elevator sat at the desk, a pen in his hand as he hurriedly dragged it across the pile of papers sitting in front of him. looking up, he put his pen down and stood up.
"ah, you are ms laurier? its nice to meet you." he said. although his tone sounded sweet, his face was completely stoic- it made his tone feel fake. he motioned for you to take a seat in front of his desk as he sat back down, sliding the papers to the side and grabbing what looked to be your resume.
"quite an impressive resume, ms laurier... but none of these fit with the job description of my assistant." he says as he looks up from the sheet of laminated paper. "right, well i've been working in many different departments of... the job industry. i haven't quite been able to settle down as everything was temporary."
"how do i know that this job isn't just a temporary one to you? i don't want to be hiring someone new in 2 months." he questioned as you gulped down the knot forming in your throat. "you don't have to worry about that, the jobs listed on my resume were all temporary because i have been studying along side working- they were part time. this is a full time position." you try to explain as he nods and scans over the resume once more.
"alright. are you aware of what will be expected if i were to hire you?"
"yes, sir. i would have to be on my toes 24/7, i would have to ensure everything is up to date with your schedule and also make sure everything runs smoothly within the company building." you nod, proud of your answer.
"i'm a busy man, ms laurier. do you think you'll be able to adapt? im talking about constantly being on the phone to book meetings and appointments with clients- you will also need to accompany me where ever i go unless i say otherwise. you will need to inform me of every harm that damages the company, even if its very miniscule. i expect you to be here on time everyday- if you're even a minute late, you risk completely ruining my day. i also expect you to come in with clean and freshly ironed clothing. i'm very strict when it comes to hygiene so even your desk cannot have a speck of dust. do you understand, ms laurier? if not, the door is behind you."
it takes you a few seconds to really absorb the information he's just thrown at you. you realised that it'd be a demanding job but isn't this too much?
"i understand, sir. i can do this job." you fake determination as he nods. you needed this job even if it meant torturing yourself. "well then, welcome to the team. petra will show you how everything is done and you can start tomorrow." he nods as he places your resume in a drawer before sliding the pile of paperwork back in front of him. "thank you, sir." you say as you rush back out where petra stood.
"congratulations, ms laurier. i look forward to working with you." she smiles as you nod.
for the next 3 hours, petra showed you how everything worked as well as giving you a tour of the building. you learnt that your boss' name was levi ackerman and he was actually quite famous throughout japan and even some parts of other asian countries.
"and that's about it. if you need any help tomorrow, just give me a ring." she says as she pulls out a small card from her pocket and hands it over to you, "this has my number on it as well as mr ackermans, you might want to save both now- he's probably already gotten yours." she says as you thank her and make sure to save both numbers.
once you got back home you made sure to research everything you could about your new boss, not only was he super famous but he was also considered one of japans most eligible bachelor's alongside Erwin Smith, whos company just so happened to be working with levis on some sort of project.
you felt your phone vibrate against the couch cushions. "hey connie." you greet as you answer the phone. "hey, i'm on my way over with sasha, want anything from the store?"
"yes, some milk please- chocolate."
"alrighty."
a half an hour later you heard a knock on the door and rushed over to see connie and sasha. "your chocolate milk, ma'am." sasha held it up as you took it gracefully, stepping to the side so the both of them could come in.
"so congratulations on the new job." connie smiles at you as he takes his seat on the couch. "we'll be work buddies from now on." he winks. "thank you, again, for telling me about this job. i mean i was this close to getting evicted."
"you know what, you two should come to the restaurant for a celebratory dinner on the weekends." sasha claps her hands. sasha was a head chef at a fancy restaurant, she practically owned the place since the actual owner was old and senile- he had told her that he'd leave the restaurant to her.
"that would be great if we could afford your outrageous prices." you cross your arms as she shakes her head. "oh come on, its on the house." sasha nudges your shoulder. connie claps his hands and nods his head.
"then its settled, no one makes any other plan for this Sunday. we're celebrating suki's new job." he grins.
