went to Barnes and Noble to pick up the next Fruits Basket volume to read and also ended up getting the anime illustrations book! I saw this before but I didn’t have the money to get it so I’m so happy I can get it now!

Two weeks ago I went to check a book out from the library that said it was available on the website but when I went, someone checked it out like an hour before me so I got it on Libby for my kindle and I didn’t realize I had to return it today and still have half the book left so now I have to wait for that person to return it to the library so I can actually finish this gd book

Every once in a while I remember how fucking funny Jane Eyre is as a novel like she’s just a silly girl who’s kinda naive and sleeps in bogs and Mr Rochester is kinda terrible but he’s also so desperate just to get Jane to admit she likes him and SHE CALLS HIM UGLY ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS like that’s so funny

I’m 326 pages into Five Broken Blades and I just realized why I like Royo and Aeri so much. They’re basically just Kyo and Tohru from Fruits Basket aka my favorite ship. I know that it’s basically just grumpy x sunshine or the “hates everyone but her” trope but kyoru really is the blueprint for me and everything else is just compared to the atp
