Looking back, I can already see how much I improved in drawing sonic characters just from working on the BB alone!! I'm so glad I got to partake and improve my style ^-^

LAST GLAZE FIRING OF THIS SEMESTER I GET THINGS BACK WEDNESDAY HRRRGRHRGRRRRGRGGRGRGR

Ugh it's 11pm and my stupid homonculous refuses to get ready for bed. It has fluid transfusions tomorrow morning and MUST be hung upside down for 10 hours to balance its humors properly. Any tips for calming a fussy flesh baby?

(Disclaimer, baby is probably the wrong word as it hosts the soul of my grandfather, I don't think it makes much of a difference tho)

Nematode, ceramic

Freakish thing. Is it being vulnerable or trying to intimidate you, opened up like that? To me it stands rather regally. About 2.75 inches long and 2 inches tall.

Dog, ceramic

This sad looking fellow took a while to get glazed, made it back in December. About 3.5 inches long and 1.25 inches long. It isn't too late little guy.

I don't remember the name of the main glaze I used, but the crystalline spots and the reaction it had with the white glaze to turn it greenish is really cool!

Vogelherz, ceramic

I started with a vague skeletal motif for this one, you can see it in the pelvis-like front, but my inspiration for it quickly hit a wall. I went looking at some other pieces and was really struck by a few that had an object half obscured inside them, and that led me to what felt like an obvious solution to my problem: simply rip that bird open baybee!!

My goal was to create a living teapot, either one that looked like it was magically brought to life or something more biological. Started with a concept more like the latter, but my skill at the wheel changed the spherical shape I wanted into something more whimsical haha.
