I'm a self-taught artist, mostly doing watercolor work, and I love experimenting with new techniques/styles.
I don't sell my work because I need my art to stay a hobby, because it has really been helping fend off autistic burnout. That said, I do have a ko-fi, and I would very gladly accept tips there. Any tips will go toward restocking my art supplies as I run low.
I can also be found on TikTok, where I post more of the process behind my finished works. But this hellsite is a nice little lower pressure place to throw things up too.
If you're also an artist, please always feel free to drop in some feedback for me!
I needed something simple to test out using watercolor on canvas before I committed to anything more complex, so obviously I had to do a galaxy painting. I'm nothing if not a basic bitch at heart
This was my first experiment with adding texture/3d elements to my watercolor paintings... It's certainly not what I initially planned/pictured in my head (does anyone else see the heart as an avocado?) but I think I still like it anyway.
Side note, anyone have tips/resources for properly preserving/storing watercolor paintings? I don't really want to frame everything behind glass (I think I've read that's what I'm supposed to do?) but I also don't want my nicer pieces to get damaged by just laying around with no protection.
