What’s HALOS stand for? Do you have any story elements in the old goldport that you’re planning to scrap for the new story?
Halos doesn’t stand for anything- it’s the name of the universe and the planet!
As for story elements, there’s not much that’s changed, surprisingly. Plots and characters change, some stories I’m saving for later or have been scrapped… but apart from that, it’s been the same concept for a while.

That’s the neat part- it’s everyone, Goldport doesn’t focus on one character in particular. It’s just a bunch of overlapping stories happening at the same time, and it’s up to you which ones you focus on more or less.
And Magic IS a big part of this universe! Halos has a magic system based on runes, souls, and the magical weave- anyone can do magic through runes, but some people have inherent magical powers.
Goldport doesn’t focus TOO heavily on the magic system, because it gets pretty complicated, and this is the first installment of the Halos Project… but there’s a lot behind it that I’d love to talk about!
