I had hardly slept a wink until the sun came up, and of course, conveniently, my body finally decided to crash right before we were supposed to be getting ready to leave, great. " " Petra keeps looking at me with this weird look on her face. It's making me really uncomfortable. Maybe it's the fact that i look like im about to keel over at any given moment. Or maybe it's because there's something wrong with my eyes- " " Something is terribly wrong. And it's getting worse. But i still *really* don't want her to know about it. We're supposed to be adventuring and having fun and whatnot, this was what we wanted- and yet, here i am. Being the biggest downer of the century because what. Sounds like you're in a tough spot. I'd say with what you're experiencing, uh.. try not to follow the things you hear. Especially not if your Petra isn't awake to let you know it's not real.

” I’m losing it. Just a little. I was just trying to fall asleep but then I heard…whispering. Something was calling me. In the woods. I really shouldn’t have been awake, actually. I don’t know why but again, I just…could not sleep. “

“ But…it kept saying things. I couldn’t make them out though- So…seeing that Petra was currently asleep at that time… I decided to gear up and follow it. It wasn’t like anything bad could happen…I’m pretty loaded when it comes to weapons and armor. “

“ So I went out with a torch and my sword to find the voice. But no matter how far into the woods I went. I just couldn’t find the culprit. “

“ Until a horde of zombies and skeletons started piling in. Great. I am not that good at combat- maybe flashy weapons weren’t the way to go. I tried to hold them off, but there were just *so many of them*. There has to be a monster spawned out there somewhere. “

“ …For a brief moment I was…terrified. Me and my best friend were both in danger at this point, and she wasn’t even aware of it- I thought I could hold them off, but they were just too much- They were all closing in on me- “

“ …and then they all died. “

“ I…I don’t understand it. One second they were there, and I was about to get pummeled alive by an army of dead ugly things- and the next they just…aren’t there. They poofed!! Literally!! “

“ Maybe I’m hallucinating- but it felt real- I saw it with my own eyes. Then again, I haven’t gotten a solid 5 hours of sleep in ages. Exhaustion just hasn’t come to me yet- I’m almost envious of my friend. She…. “

” OKAY SO…CRAZY STORY. We get to the Taiga biome and we wander around for a while. It’s kind of cold there, probably should’ve went in better dressed. But that’s not the point. We unfortunately didn’t find any wolves to tame, and Petra was a bit glum about it. (Which was really awful, I hate when my friends are upset.) “ ” I tried to lighten the mood by saying, there are plenty of dogs in the sea! Like uh…The saying about fish. Petra didn’t really find that funny, but before I could mull over my own stupidity, we heard a yelp. And lo and behold, in a pond a few blocks away is a puppy. Poor thing was soaked to the bone. “ “ We decided to keep him, and we named him Edgar. But I can’t be the only one that finds this weird though, right?? The puppy kind of just… popped in out of nowhere. I know some things just spawn into this world at random sometimes, but it can’t just be a coincidence that we were just… there to conveniently witness it, especially after …that really awful joke. “

“ Me and Petra are back on the road again, heading to a Taiga biome it seems. She said she wants to try and find a dog in the wild to tame. She has far too many bones to spare from that one lady. What was her name again? Stacy? “ ” Either way. I’m kind of scared of dogs, but if it makes her happy, then why not? And besides, it’ll be handy to have a dog around. They are fiercely loyal and protective. I think that’s the kind of companion you’d want on an adventure like this. I haven’t really had a pet since … Lluna, though. So it’ll definitely be a bit strange. “ ” Petra says I’m acting a bit weird today. But honestly I’m probably just tired, I didn’t get a wink of sleep last night, it really sucked. “ ” I went out to get water earlier today and when I stopped by the riverbank I was a bit…spooked. I feel like there’s something wrong with my eyes, they don’t look right. Have they always been this dark? “ ” I’m being silly, maybe even a bit paranoid- but something doesn’t feel right. “

" Hey!! Jesse here!! " " After everything that happened with the Admin and his defeat, I have sort of decided to settle down a bit...emphasis on the sort of part. As of recently I've been traveling with Petra to a bunch of new places, and it's been really fun thus far! I've also decided that I'm going to start writing down the things we find and learn about on our journey, in this journal. I've never been one for journaling. That's more of a...Lukas thing. But i figured it was worth a shot. " " We just got back from The End. Someone found a new way to access it a while back, since Soren's portal was destroyed after the flood. We found this giant old city and these cool wings. Petra says they're called Elytra. I've never heard of them before, but they are definitely fun to mess with. I wonder what would happen if you wore them and set off something like a firework, or a bomb in mid air? " " Either way ... I've been enjoying myself these past few weeks. But something still feels off. I know, it could just be post-adventure jitters. Running around in The End was pretty spooky. But... " " I don't know. It's silly, really. I'll probably be fine. " " I kind of have to be, don't i? " " Anywho, it’s getting late and I'm pooped. We have so much more walking to do tomorrow... Until next time. "

SO. This AU starts after S2. Xara and Romeo are gone, and Jesse has decided to go adventuring with Petra. (This is red-hairclip Jesse for reference.) Things are all fine and dandy now. She's having a good time. Exploring the world with a friend at her side, just like the old days. But something still feels wrong. She rarely feels hunger or pain anymore. Mobs seem to get knocked out with one hit, and even the hardest blocks seem to break with ease. This isn't normal. Right? Right... No one else has noticed yet, thankfully. Maybe it's better if she just keeps it to herself. In the meantime though, she has been writing her findings down in her journal (A.K.A this blog!) in an attempt to keep herself more organized. Things seem to slip past her mind much more easily than they used to. It’s a bit disorienting, but writing it down helps.

Now you might be wondering. Where do you come in? While this askblog is mostly going to be following a set path. Your words matter, and will affect the way things go going forward! Feel free to come up with theories, ask questions, or just do whatever (within reason)!
