TunnelClan Acolyte Apprentice Tryouts

Introduction

Following the banishment of Wispcatcher, the time has come to seek out a new handful of Acolytes to treat the sick and wounded of TunnelClan! Now that Canaryshade has announced her intent to seek out new apprentices to train, acolyte tryouts have officially opened for TunnelClan and members are welcome to make and present character ideas for the newest recruits. There are a few rules to follow/heed that will be listed below, but for the most part, creative freedom is yours as always!  We look forward to seeing what kinds of characters you come up with for the role of acolyte apprentice in TunnelClan – just who will Canaryshade find training under her careful paws? And will she manage not to screw it up this time, unlike Wispcatcher’s unfortunate fate? These auditions are open to nonmembers to throw their hats into the ring! Long Shadows Litter Tryouts

House Long Shadows has been within Tunnelclan for as long as Tunnelclan existed, and though its power has been on the decline for many years it is still impossible to ignore their influence. Though all they have is the honor on their shoulders and a long drawn history that has bored many kits to near death- Long Shadows shall always endure.

But the Head of House has always had different aspirations. Dreaming of making Long Shadows a name that invokes respect in and of itself- and not by its fading history. Such a thing is on the rise, with the daughter of the house being named Regent and a hopeful match with the Royal Line brewing. Now is the high time to bring more of their lineage into the world- and to show all that Long Shadows will never fade away.

Nightblood and his mate, Spicenose, have conceived a new litter of kits- their second and final one. And through a hard pregnancy, Spicenose will soon bring six new kittens into the world. But trouble is on the horizon- and some of these kits are slated to be deeply involved in an upcoming plot. 

Perhaps Tunnelclan was never meant to be their home in the first place.

Nightblood and Spicenose of House Long Shadows are expecting a litter of six healthy kittens! Of these six, Three will be open for adoption!

These three kits are open to both current and prospective members alike! Though beware they do come with a plot of their own! All relevant information (Including clan guides, house information, and links to family members) are also included in the document!

If our waitlist application gets rejected, will we be alerted? I'm sorry if this comes off as rude or impatient! I am willing to wait as long as it takes if I'm considered a potential applicant. I devote myself to very few roleplay groups at a time, preferring to put more of my spoons in fewer baskets than fewer spoons in many. So, by applying to what creeps beneath, I'm preemptively making space for it in my mind. If I'm ever not a contender, I'd ideally like to know so that space isn't on hold indefinitely. But if rejecting people is uncomfortable, I totally understand and respect that!

I hope everything is going well, and again, no pressure!

hi!!! the waitlist is just a list we look through when we need members and often that's for a specific reason (ex. 'marshclan needs some more love, let me see who on here has expressed wanting to join marshclan the most') so someone at that point in time who only wants to join tunnelclan may be passed over, but a few months later i may need someone who only wants to join tunnelclan so they may be invited then! i don't have a timeline or estimate of when anybody will be invited. there's no guarantee someone will be invited ever- but there's also not a guarantee that you're for sure rejected because an opportunity may arise where your character ideas or your flexibility or whatever you have to offer to the group is exactly what the staff team is looking for at that time.

if that is incompatible with the way you work and you would rather be working with a for sure yes/no, it's okay if you would rather remove yourself from the waitlist! you can always do so by filling out the form again and just asking to be removed in one of the text boxes and i'll remove you <3

April Update

Shop has been updated with several new items and existing items have had a description refresh- this includes magical mutations, curses, appearance changes, dice rerolls, and an update to wildcat hybrids and blessings.

Official House system has been revamped with tiers and bonuses to reflect member engagement

Apprentices are no longer restricted to being brought in at only 6 moons old and Warriors may now be made as young as 12 moons old

There will be a check every 6 months for Invitees to make sure they want to remain in the server. This check will be posted with notice and invitees will have 1 week to react to the interest check post or they will be removed from the server, which they may always be invited back if their interest returns.

#headcanon-questions has been revamped to a staff-ran channel with crown rewards for answering questions
