Why is it my cat will only actually fall asleep with me on my bed when I am in the most awkward uncomfortable position?
If I’m in prime cuddle position, on my side, knees slightly tucked to create a perfect cat sized niche, she will only stay so long as the petting is a constant. If I try to slow down so I can join her in peaceful repose she’s gone in an instant.
If I’m on my back stretched out she will lay alongside me at waist height and only curl up so long as petting is on offer. The moment I stop to try and nap too, she leaps off.
If I’m sitting up, my legs are going numb, bent to the left awkwardly at the waist to give her more room behind me, and I’m entirely too cold, she is pressed up against my butt sleeping contentedly for as long as I’ll let her.
depictions of the ace experience never seem to include the nightmare-borne skeleton creature from hell so kudos to the dimension 20 team for their commitment to accurate rep
as the origin of hot murph week, i had to weigh in on the subject, obviously. and this is also based mostly on energy and the face he made when he heard himself.
