Below is a list of animals once thought not to exist and not officially recognized by mainstream scientists, biologists, and zoologists. Through persistence, patience and focus, determined researchers were able to prove without a doubt that these creatures do exist and have to be recognized officially by the scientific community.

Evidence for Illusion Magick

I am a Wizard, a practitioner of real Occult Magick, who also does magic tricks for entertainment. I also use the Conjuring Arts to create Ritual Theatre experiences. In this article, I explain a working theory I had that the Conjuring Arts are a translation and illustration of the esoteric forces used in spellcasting, and have been for thousands of years. I provide 42 different sources to support this claim. I use the exact same principles of Illusion to cast Glamour spells as I do to perform magic tricks. There is a reason Magic(k) is used to describe both Crafts: they have the exact same origins: The Ritual Theatre of Shamanism.

🕯Meanings of Candle Colors🕯

White: peace, truth, purification, cleansing, banishment of negative energies. These are very useful for purification spells when you need to cleanse yourself (or your space). I personally like to burn a white votive candle after hefty spell work to clear out my space.

Black: absorbing or destroying negative energy, protection, banishment, repelling negative energies from others. Can also be used for curses/hexes/jinxes. I love to burn these if I'm doing a protective spell upon myself or my house.

Gray: neutrality, balance, stability, discernment, wisdom, patience. This color has an energy similar to silver. If your life needs stability and you are doing a spell for such things, a gray candle might be what you are looking for.

Brown: house blessings, earth, animals/pets/familiars, protection, stability, finding lost things. A brown candle might be particularly useful in a spell to protect or bond with one's familiar.

Red: Passion, energy, love, lust, vitality, power, aggression. I find these good if you want to bring more passion into a current relationship but would not use them for a spell to call new love into your life. It's just a personal thing but new love=pink candles in my mind. These are also good for spells done to make you feel more powerful or confident.

Orange: Joy, energy, strength, vitality, friendship, attraction, stimulation, education. If you are doing a spell to attract anything or bring it into your life, be it wealth, a new job, success, health, love, friendship ect, orange is a great color to use. Also might be useful in a spell to boost your energy level or health.

Yellow: confidence, happiness, positivity, manifestation of your intentions, bringing plans into action, creativity, and intelligence. If you want to do a spell to call more positive energy, emotions or circumstances into your life yellow is good for this, too. It is a "happy" color.

Green: wealth, nature, health, fertility, luck, success. If you are short on cash and want to do a spell to increase your wealth, green is a go-to color. Also I find it to be particularly useful for healing magick.

Blue: opening lines of communication, healing, inspiration, a feeling of calmness, forgiveness, meditation, happiness, fidelity. If you're in a turbulent place emotionally and want things to calm down a bit, blue candles could be good for this kind of soothing spell.

Violet: spiritual awareness, wisdom, tranquility, spiritual awakening, communication with spirits and certain deities. If you are doing a spell that involves communication with the spirit world, purple candles would be good for this.

Pink: positive self love, joy, friendship, harmony, new love, new beginnings. I associate pink with new things. A "budding" friendship or romance. A fresh start.

Silver: feminine energy, lunar energy or deities, psychic development, inhancing intuition, removing negative energies. A silver candle would useful in a cleansing spell or if you want to do a ritual to help you development your existing psychic abilities

Gold: strength, wealth, success, solar deities, masculine energy, good fortune, spiritual awakening. Gold candles may be useful in a glamor spell to make one seem more masculine.

Simple Glamours

Today, I'll be going over four easy glamours. These are things that you can incorporate into your daily routine, if you're looking to work with them frequently. If you have questions about glamour magic, feel free to drop them in my ask box. I'll go into more intermediate and advanced glamours as time goes on, but I want to start with a few beginner-friendly posts.

1. Enchant an item that you will be wearing. This can be clothing or jewelry. Pick a quality or trait that you want others to see in you for the day. You'll then state your intentions into this item before putting it on. Remember that when stating intent, you're going go want to properly channel your energy. There are two ways that are common, the first being visualization of a color that flows through your hands into the object. However, this is not as powerful as letting your energy flow into the object via your Wellsource (think of it as the source of all your untapped energy & power, it is limitless). Let it come from that source of power within you, flowing into your desired object as you speak the words aloud. I will speak more about how to tap into this source in the near future.

2. Shower/bathe with moon water. Add a little into it, it doesn't have to be much. If showering, pour it over your hair and skin once. You can add a drop or two of rose or lavender oil to the bottom of your shower for the steam to rise and relax you. Create an herbal bag (tea bag) and tie it to your shower head to release. If you take baths, do the same by putting it in a tea bag for a mess-free clean-up. Make sure they are safe for skin contact. I also recommend doing a negative energy release visualization or meditation before exiting the bath/shower.

3. Wear makeup? You can draw sigils or intentions into your foundation before blending it in. I've seen people draw it into eyeshadow as well before blending but I'm not as talented with an eyeshadow brush. You can with your lipstick, for example, add intent to do a specific thing associated with the color (red for passion, attention, and lust, as an example). Do this with your eyeshadow, eyeliner, and blush as well. If you wear black eyeliner, look to it for protection as you put it on. Opportunities are endless in this area!

4. Make a few batches of anointing oils for different purposes. Draw sigils onto your skin that are not visible to others once it soaks in. You can enchant the oil to have others see you a particular way, if you wish. Use a come-to-me oil to attract things to you. Use a money oil when you go to work to generate more income. Use a self-love oil to boost your confidence. Have anxiety? Make a calming one to not only give a collected appearance but to help you get through the day in general. Need ideas on how to make these? Glamour magic is a great thing to learn, even if you don't feel you'll use it much. There are times when it is absolutely handy and it comes unexpectedly. That being said, I hope y'all have some fun with this! Practice different variations, document it in a journal, and learn what works best for you.

Net Throwing Extendable Rod Mascara (Totally Spies Inspired Glamour Spell)

A spell to captivate the attention of your date and enhance your beauty and appeal to them. This is a love spell glamour and a beauty glamour.

You Will Need:

💕 Red Candle 💕 Rose Quartz (several is best) 💕 Rose Water 💕 Moon Water 💕 Thyme 💕 Basil 💕 Fresh or Dried Rose Petals 💕 Black Tea Bag 💕 Bowl or Container 💕 Your Favorite Mascara 💕 A Mirror (preferable on the wall)

Steps and Process

💕 Clear and cleanse a space to work in, once you have that make sure the mirror you are working with has been cleansed and cleaned as needed. Place your rose quartz all about your work space - if you wish to do a grid feel free to this is not required. placing them into a heart shape is ideal if you have enough.

💕 Light your red candle while lighting it look at yourself in the mirror and say "Tonight I captivate, tonight I entrap, tonight I am a net of beauty" keep these words in mind

💕 Place your candle near but not too close that you may knock it over. Feel the energy coming from the flame and the intensity of the red hue and the aura energy coming off your rose quartz - let them empower you

💕 In the bowl add your dry herbs, a small amount of each will go a long way so do not worry. Reframe from adding your rose petals yet

💕 After all your herbs have been added take the water you will be using. Add the Rose water first (homemade or bought) and say "I am lovely as a rose-" and then add the moon water " - as captivating as the moon"

💕 Use your mascara, still closed you do not want water getting into it, to stir the water slowly in a clockwise motion. With your other hand sprinkle in the rose petals. "Tonight I captivate, tonight I entrap, I am a net of beauty. I am a rose, I am moonlight" repeat this as you stir

💕 Add in your black tea bag at this point once you finished stirring to your content, let it steep briefly and once you feel ready dip your end of the mascara container (not the want) into the water. "I am a net of beauty" repeat this each time you dab the spell mixture to your forehead, each cheek, under each eye and the tip of your nose. Let it air dry

💕 Once your anointing is complete, do your make up as you regularly would and when applying your mascara try to do it last and end the spell with a firm. "I am a net of beauty" one last time and blow out your candle while looking into the mirror

I've been using these since forever and they work incredibly! Feel free to accommodate them to what resonates with you :)

I mostly say these phrases in my mind over and over again as I'm applying a certain product, you can say them out loud as well. Playing affirmations in the background can also work really well when you're putting that intention into your makeup! （˶′◡‵˶）

As you apply highlighter: "My essence shines through"

As you apply lipstick/gloss/balm: "My words are sweet. Everyone pays attention when I'm speaking"

As you apply lipstick/gloss/balm: "My words flow perfectly. Speaking my mind perfectly comes easy for me"

As you apply mascara: "These eyes see everyone's true essence. These eyes see through facades"

As you apply blush: "I am confident and assertive"

Remember to have fun with these! I mostly use these ones every time I'm putting on my makeup because they always work for me. However you can change them up to whatever intention you're setting for that day! ⛤Glamour Magic Daily Routine⛤

Here are some tips on how to include glamour magic in your daily life!

Visualise the water washing away all the negativity when you shower

Say affirmation when doing your skincare

Use moon water to cleanse 

Spray bedding with perfume

Enchanting your mirrors to improve the self image of anyone who looks in them

Enchant your jewellery for protection/confidence

Use correspondences in your skincare routine: do you use coconut oil? Maybe a rose face mist? All those products can be given a deeper meaning in your daily life!

Match the colours of your makeup to your intentions for the day

Enchant your nail polish (bonus: match the colour to the intention, black for protection, red for love, green for prosperity, etc)

Choose a perfume that inspires you for the day

Charge your perfume with the energy you wish to attract

Put sigils in your shoes

Some witches veil to keep their energy from draining and to protect them from others’ emotions, but a beanie works too

If you wear glasses, use them as a tool so that they help you “see clearly”

Put your moisturiser or concealer on in the shape of a sigil before massaging it in

Write sigils on your makeup products, even putting lip balm on could help you mentally throughout the day!

When shaving, visualise any energy buildup being shaved off as well

Remember to love yourself

Storm Witch's "You're a Sexy, Badass Bitch" Glamour

You will need: ° gold glitter ° a splash of vodka ° rose petals ° water or baby oil °cinnamon ° your favorite outfit

Mix the glitter, rose petals, cinnamon, vodka and base in a dish. Glitter because you’re fabulous, roses because you’re lovable, cinnamon because you’re hot, and vodka for liquid courage. Envision what makes you confident, what makes you feel sexy. Rock it. Change into your favorite outfit, dab a little bit of the mixture on your wrists, and go paint the town red

#BackToSchoolWitchcraft - Day 10

Glamour your makeup to decrease chances of getting called on in class

This is the simplest of glamours. Ish. Enjoy.

What you’ll need:

A paper

A sigil

Your concealer/foundation’

How to do:

1) Make a sigil and write it down on a paper. If you want to use mine, it says “Conceal”. Charge your sigil with preferred method - I charged mine by drawing the sigil on a broken shell and putting it in a glass of water. Whatever suits your fancy. 

2) Use your concealer or foundation to draw the sigil on your face - your forehead and your cheeks. Gently smear the make up so that the sigil becomes invisible, meanwhile visualising it creating a shield to hide behind in class. 

Note: When charging your sigil, try to avoid using fire, as there is a possibility that it could create burning sensations on your skin. Be careful!

Roughskin - A Protective Glamour Spell

“Before I consent to your wish, I shall require three things - a dress as golden as the sun, another as silvery as the moon, and a third as glittering as the stars; and besides this, I shall require a mantle made of a thousand skins of rough fur sewn together, and every animal in the kingdom must give a piece of his skin toward it.”

[…] In the night, when every one slept, she rose and took from her jewel-case a gold ring, a gold spinning-wheel, and a golden hook. The three dresses of the sun, moon, and stars she folded in so small a parcel that they were placed in a walnut shell; then she put on the fur mantle, stained her face and hands black with walnut-juice, and committing herself to the care of Heaven, she left her home.

- The Princess in Disguise

Intent: To protect and disguise oneself from those who mean to harm you.

Materials:

Empty walnut shell, in halves

A piece of your own hair or a nail clipping

Small patchwork cloth bag

Glue & rubber band

Herbs: Dogbane, Hyssop, Basil, Heather, Juniper Berries, Poppy Seeds

Ideal Timing: Full Moon, for protection, but can be performed anytime.

Obtain an empty walnut shell. You can use the shells off of the whole bagged walnuts that most grocery stores carry in the produce section. Try to crack the walnut so that the shell comes away in two halves. This makes reassembling it for the charm much easier.

Mix the following herbs together in small pinches:

Dogbane - for disguise

Hyssop - for warding off harm

Basil - for general protection

Heather Blossom - for warding off assault

Juniper Berries - for secret-keeping

Poppy Seeds - for invisibility

Carefully stuff the herb mixture into the two empty halves of the walnut. Use little dots of glue to help the herbs stay in place. At the very last, add a strand of your hair or a nail clipping. Line the edges of the shell with glue and carefully fit them back together. Wrap them with the rubber band to keep everything in place until the glue dries.

Once the charm is dry, place it in a patchwork cloth bag. You can purchase one or make it yourself. It only has to be large enough to hold the walnut.

Hold the bag between your palms and say:

I garb myself in many skins To keep harm out and safety in I place the truth within this shell Now guard my life and guard it well

You can either carry the bag with you whenever you feel you need protection, or you can hide the bag in a wooden box if one is available.

Queen Grimhilde’s Glamour Jar For Intimidating Looks

You can carry this with you for whenever you need to have that “intimidating look,” ex.) walking down a dark street late at night. 

What you’re gonna need: 

A jar, particularly a smaller one

Storm water 

A thunderstorm 

Black glitter

Cayenne pepper 

Green food coloring 

A wine glass (for theatrical effect) 

Collect the storm water in whatever container is convenient, then pour it into the wine glass. Add the cayenne pepper, food coloring, and black glitter. Hold the glass and visualize the image you wish to project. Go outside and recite the following while holding the glass:

“I cast this spell on this stormy night, 

fill this glass with a ghoul’s fright! 

May my appearance turn them all away, 

keep those that wish to cause me ill at bay. 

A thunderbolt, to mix it well. Now begin thy magic spell!” 

Produce your best evil, witchy cackle, then pour the mixture into the jar. Just pull it out & shake whenever you need to feel intimidating.
