I was going to write this fanfiction about Sam and the golden retriever that he is.
So, it was going to be about a reclusive farmer who Sam slowly tries to open up to the rest of the valley.
I at least started it.
"Dude, want me to let you win?" Sebastian snickered.
Sam sighed. "Whatever. Just take your turn already."
Sebastian chuckled while leaning over with his cue stick.
The Friday saloon was calm as always, something was different this time.
"Damn it! Why did it-" A huff followed those words and as soon as they did, the game corner crowed looked behind them only to see someome rushing off the arcade machine and bursting out of the saloon.
This didn't seem to be noticed by anyone but the trio and Sebastian was the first to speak up.
"Don't know what's her issue, but she messed up my hit."
Abigail chuckled. "Come on, it's salvagable right?"
The pair moved on quickly, but Sam hadn't turned around until his name was called.
"Oh, huh?"
"What are you doing? It's your turn." Resting his stick beside him, Sebastian waited for Sam.
His eyes rolled. "I'm not gonna win anyways, might as well just start a new game."
"Is that your way of giving in?"
"You said your hit got messed up, so let's just start the whole thing over." Sam walked over to the vending machine and glanced over at the arcade machines.
He hadn't meant to, but he saw the game over screen for the Prairie King and saw it was on Level 9.
"Woah."
"Sam, what's taking you so long?"
"Guys, that girl who just left out. Wasn't that the farmer who moved here?"
"I guess so. Who cares though?"
"Me, kind of. She was playing Prairie King and got all the way to level 9!"
"Impressive, but it's probably because she doesn't talk to anyone." Abigail stated.
"Well maybe we should talk to her."
"If you want to, then go ahead. She's might scared of people or something though because anytime we see each other near the mines, she keeps her head down and rushes off past me."
"Maybe she's busy?"
Abigail scoffed. "I thought it was only me. She doesn't even talk in the store. She just brings her stuff to the counter and gives my dad the money before dashing out."
"I guess farm work is hard. Look, guys, I've never spoken to her and she seems pretty cool. I think we should invite her to join us one night."
"Good luck with that then." Abigail scoffed.
"Seriously, I think you're gonna need it."
Sam, without even so much as a frown on his face, happily thanked the pair before they resumed their night together.

from one of the tweets in this post by @kilometresrufflefuck that I just HAD to draw because it got stuck in my brain :) when the Dark Age of the Law is over, the defence and prosecution are supposedly meant to be working together to find the truth, right? so why can't Pheonix "phone a friend (husband)" mid trial if he gets stuck???

one of the best fics i've ever read, one that had me addicted to my phone and crying, wasn't even prose. it was a huge, casual, bullet-pointed outline with every detail of an au that the author never got around to writing in full. and it was amazing.
let this be a message to all you who want to write but can't do it "normally": write it! someone out there will eat it up. whether that be poetry, tiny drabbles, or bullet pointed list: your work is always worth it. your art (yes, art!) will alway deserve to have its moment in the spotlight. why? because you made it. even if it wasn't done in a traditional matter, it came from your brain and your creativity and that is amazing.

So, I ended up talking myself into feeling like shit because I didn't feel like doing anything today. Took a little while to realize that it's totally fine that I feel a little bad today and it's probably better for me to take a break than force myself to work when I don't want to.
Just a reminder to anyone else who feels that way, remember that breaks are apart of the process and you're going to have down days. Take the break, feel better, and pick up tomorrow if you can.

Aside from me feeling like absolute shit today, I checked my wattpad and feel even worse since I haven't updated any of my ongoing stories in a while.
I really wish I could push past my irrational struggles and just finish shit.

The problem with internet writer culture
Tell us about your wip!
But don't advertise, ads are bad and we don't like being advertised to.
Oh but tell us about the wip!
*gives thirty second summary*
Oh that's a nice wip, mine is *gives thirty minute lecture on characters, plot twists, and origins*
Oh sorry, I thought your wip was nice. What did you think of mine?
*gives detailed and sincere compliments about what I thought of it*
I'm glad! Yours was cool, but oh! In mine *another thirty minute lecture*
...
......
.......... Is this what passes for interaction these days or am I just unlucky? I've found like TWO people, maybe three, who will have an actual conversation with me about wips.
With everyone else it's like I'm expected to keep it short, sweet, and to the point, unless I'm reacting to theirs, and if I return the favor and gush at length about mine, they disappear or never react.
And it's a very real problem.
Because it's not just impacting me.
It's impacting a LOT of people. Because everyone wants to talk about their wip but nobody wants to listen to anyone else's, so there's so many writers that put on a veneer of "I care!" And they pretend to listen or maybe they read a little or skim, but they don't absorb it.
And then, because you've talked about your work, they now have license to talk about theirs, and they won't stop until either you stop them or make it obvious you're not listening.
But we don't do that, do we?
We do care. We want to encourage. We want to support. So we try. But then they don't return that favor. They don't actually care, but they know you want to, and you'll try to, so they'll milk that until your patience runs out.
Then what?
Then they look for the next kind heart that will sit quietly and listen.
And it's a problem.
Because we all want to be heard. But that doesn't give us the right to overpower another person in conversation just to force the other person to hear us, at the cost of their enjoyment of the interaction.

Kroelian EISCUE
It is beleived EISCUE arrived to Kroel when a small group of them came floating on a glaciar from Galar. Unfortunately for them, they arrived to the northern shore of Kroel, a zone where oil naturally spils into the sea, affecting both the enviroment and the pokemon. Eventually they were able to adapt, but they have changed a lot from their Galarian counterparts.
It has the ability "Flammable" and this ability will make it change its form and type depending on certain conditions
In its Oily form it becomes a Poison type. In this form its head and body are covered by a layer of natural oil, this makes him inmune to water type moves but if its hit with a fire type move, or gets burnt, the oil will ingnite and will change into its "burning form" In its Burning form it becomes a Fire type. The oil that covers its body starts burning, its attack increases and contact with it may leave the foe burnt, but if hit with a water type move or if it starts raining the fire will burn out In its Burn outform it becomes a Ghost Type. The oil protecting its body dissapears, leaving a cloud of thick white smoke in its place, its attack and defense will decrease, but all pokemons accuracy in the battle will be lowered too due to the smoke, it will remain like this until switched out or hit by a poison type move
This EISCUE can be found in the same are as Kroelian SANDYGAST & PALOSSAND

I can't believe I didn't think to post this on my blog where I mention stuff about Obey Me! 🤦
Anyways, this is a fanfic I'm writing about my OCs and the Obey Me Boys, the title is shitty so it'll be left in the tags 😷 but fair warning, this isn't a xreader, it's an xOC.
I'm also posting this on Wattpad so head over there if you wanna read everything I've posted instead of waiting for my slow ass to post it here.
Alright, with that out the way, enjoy reading~
Chapter 1: Unwanted Meeting
It was an unusually dark Sunday night. Outside was deathly quiet and most everyone was at home sleeping the night away. One person was awake in the early hours of three in the morning. Cassie sat in her bedroom letting a video play in the back. She lay on her bed staring at the ceiling, the only light came from her laptop and even that was starting to bother her. Her head limply rolled to one side and that only made the headache she had throb worse than it already was.
She just wanted a fleeting moment of relief where she could fall asleep and end the day of her sorrows, but that didn't seem as if it were coming. She remained awake with videos behind her playing on autoplay. She opened and shut her eyes over and over hoping one time she'd finally fall asleep.
She sighed. "If only things weren't this way..." Her mind raced with all her intrusive thoughts she tried to suppress, not just during the day, but all the time.
Loneliness always crept on her during the night the most. That creeping feeling forced her to cling onto any comfort she could give herself. Her arms wrapped around her body and she tightly closed her eyes curling in a ball hoping sleep would finally come.
Behind her, the light from her laptop started to glow brighter, so bright that she opened her eyes wondering why the light was getting brighter. She shielded her eyes and tried to push down the laptop screen at its brightness, however, it was stuck and she couldn't even close it.
"What the hell?"
Then something emerged from the screen and she felt a weight push her back on her bed. The light finally faded and her eyes landed on the object that pushed her back-well, the person. Resting with their body half on her bed and half off, this person had seemingly come from her laptop, her window was still closed and there was nowhere else they could have come from.
Carefully, she inched her hands toward them wanting to see if they were real. Touching their back, she flinched when feeling their body.
"What's going on?"
She got off her bed and tried to see the person's face. They were slumped over her bed and in an act of curiosity, she pushed their shoulders and got them to slide off the bed onto their back. She still flinched, but now seeing their faces they looked pretty normal-as normal as purple hair could.
That's when their eyes started to flutter open and Cassie let out a small gasp not knowing what to do. She pressed herself against the wall and let them get up.
"That was harder than I thought." The purple haired individual soon noticed Cassie and they both stared at each other. "Woah! Who are you?" He said in a panic.
"Me? Who are you? This is my room and you just... appeared inside here."
He looked around and then looked back at Cassie. "This is where I ended up? Some normie's bedroom?"
Cassie's eyes narrowed. "The hell is a normie?"
He snickered. "That's something a normie would say."
Knowing he wasn't going to answer her question, she moved on. "Okay, so you just appear in my room, insult it, then don't even tell me who you are or even where you came from?"
"Okay, fine. My name's Leviathan-you can call me Levi-and I came here because I was summoned."
"Summon? Like a ritual or something?"
"Yeah." He gave a confused look. "You did summon me didn't you?"
Her head shook. "No, I don't know anything about demons or summoning." Her eyes narrowed. "Are you... a demon?"
"Yeah I am, but if you didn't summon me, then why did I appear here?"
While Levi thought about the situation, neither one of them said anything. It was a shock for them both on different levels, this made Cassie speak up after a moment.
"So what, since you were summoned, are you stuck here now?"
Levi looked off. "Pretty much, until I fulfill whatever request you asked of me, I can't leave."
"Are you serious? I-I don't know what I could have asked of you."
Levi grinned and took out his phone. "Well, this is good for me. There's a new game out right now and it's so popular, even my pre-order got canceled. I was gonna go in-store to get it and being in the human realm is my best chance to get it!"
In his excitement, Cassie put two-and-two together. Her eyes narrowed and she turned around to pick up something from a side table behind her.
"You mean this game?" While she held up the game package Levi's eyes went wide and he got close to her barely trying to touch it.
"You actually have it? What's a normie like you doing with a game like this? It was delayed for a while and you mean to tell me you have it, but I don't? No, it must be because it's a sequel. It was hyped up so you probably just got it and quit playing after an hour."
Cassie sighed. "Dude, I have all the games in this series, and I was one of the people waiting to get this game five years ago."
He seemed shocked. "You actually know how long it was delayed for?"
"Yeah, I did pre-order this and mines was almost canceled too."
Levi's gaze went from annoyed to slightly interested. "Then why don't you have more memorabilia? How can you be a fan of something and not buy everything they come out with."
"Maybe because I'm a broke college student?"
"Huh? Oh, you're in school."
"Yeah, that's why I need you to leave. I have school in the morning and if I'm lucky I can get at least three hours of sleep."
"I told you I can't leave, but I can promise to get out of your way if you let me play the game."
"Do you at least have a console to play it on?"
"You think I'd risk losing that?"
"Then you're not playing it. You'll have to create a new profile and I don't want that, plus who knows what stupid settings you'll change."
"I promise I won't do anything, just let me play!"
His voice was whining at this point and it didn't seem as if he was going to give up. The time ticked on and Cassie was well aware she wasn't getting any sleep, but it occurred to her she could at least get her mind off the night with his playing.
She crossed her arms. "Fine, whatever."
Levi was overjoyed and grabbed her hands, showing his appreciation by lowering his head. "Thank you!"
She took her hands back. "Anyways, but there's a condition... let me watch you."
"That's all? Then I don't mind, besides I'm sure you're not that good at the game anyways, so I'd be more than glad to teach-"
Cassie walked out her bedroom door and slammed it shut.
"Hey!"
Levi was quick to follow her and found the living room where she was standing in front of her TV changing the input.
"Did you hear me human?"
She glared at him. "You sure talk a lot."
"What's with you, aren't you scared in the slightest that I'm a demon? Who talks to a demon like that?"
"A person who's more scared of their own species. Besides, you don't exactly come off as a 'demon' no bright red horns or deformed figure you know?"
Levi pursed his lips and started fuming. "I'm just not in my demon form."
"Really? Still, unless you look like some of the monsters in this game, you're probably not that scary." Before Levi could say anything else, she held the controller out to him. "Here, I made the profile and started the game. Be careful not to screw up my save."
With a slight pout, he took the controller and sat down on her couch. Cassie sighed and sat on the other end, she pulled her feet up and listened to the soft sounds of his excitement.
While Cassie couldn't believe he was a demon, he had to have been something. How else did he pop out of her laptop? So while she was curled up on the corner of the couch, she watched Levi and found him fully invested in the opening cinematic of the game.
Just as quickly as he started playing, Cassie felt herself grow drowsy. No matter her efforts, she eventually fell asleep faster than she ever could have on her own...

So, Tears of the Kingdom didn't exactly hit the mark in the story department. I'm glad I'm not alone as I usually am in these cases.
So, after some consideration, I decided to try rewriting the story right after I finished it a whole 200 hours after
I already did this exact same thing with Pokemon Sword and Shield, but just plotted the whole thing out and never wrote any of it because I figured no one reads my shit lol so I'm just going to do the same here, plot out what I feel would have been better and probably never write it... Unless you guys really like it and give me some support/motivation, seriously a comment goes a long way.
Anyways, I'm also writing a origin story for Ganon since he's bae a really unique Ganon but he was watered down to an OOT clone, lame 😒
! Major Spoilers for Tears of the Kingdom !
You have been warned.
So, the beginning of the game isnt going to start inside Hyrule castle. Instead, this is roughly five years after BOTW and Zelda and Link are traveling around on yet another job Zelda is fixated on. She asks Link to join her in exploring Hyrule to find a suitable place for a school.
The Calamity just wasn't a thing in totk and that doesn't make any sense if it was an event that just happened. I wanted it to at least be mentioned and be a major thing affecting Hyrule even now, years later.
After a leisure stroll to some of the more major and centralized locations, Zelda settles on Hateno, but she also wants to find a good teacher. Someone who knows about Hyrule's history, is heavily involved in their present affairs, and will be in their future events 🤔💭😮
A Sheikah!
So, Zelda asks you to find someone from Karakiko village who would fit the bill. A short tutorial trip later and now everything is in order.
Zelda then gives Link a few other tasks:
Find a carpenter to build the school
Travel out to Lurelin Village to become more acquainted with the growing sea village
And to get some food for a mysterious request.
Link, of course, doesn't have to do the top two, but the last one is a main mission. After getting 10 apples, some honey and making a meal, Link returns to Zelda's home and she explains what the food was for.
Now that things are settling down, I think it's time we repair the castle. I didn't want to prioritize it in case anyone needed assistance, but things seem to be calm enough for us to start planning the castle's rebuilding. I even found the perfect companion to carry all our things!
Btw does anyone else remember a trailer where Link and Zelda had a Dondon with them? Like what tf happened to that? 😭
Anyways, this could also be a little romantic moment for Link and Zelda. I personally don't like Zelink in this game, but for those who do, something could be here, a little spark if you will.
The pair rests for the day and plan to head out right when the sun comes out. Link and Zelda make their way to the castle and try and assess the damage and what work would need to be done. In doing so, Zelda finds a strange hole that seems to connect somewhere. Her curiosity gets the better of her and she slips down to check it out, with no way out, Link joins her in an attempt to help them escape.
They travel down the stairs and find the grave of Hyrule's first King and wonder what the slab means by the castle acting as a seal.
Now here is where I would put the beginning of the game. Everything can happen like it does with no changes. This includes the Great Sky island as well.
So, once Link finds a way back to the surface, he sees that things are different than what he remembers. The strange stones falling from the sky are a sight for sure. He heads over to the nearest stable and the owner explains what's going on.
I know it's been a while, but this stuff should be fresh in all our minds. Well, I still don't see how I'm even used to it. The Upheaval--as those researchers call it--was some strange event that occured and lifted Hyrule Castle straight into the sky and made those islands appear as well. I don't know much more than that, but those researchers set up a temporary base camp near the castle, they're the ones who would know more than I do.
The Upheaval just seems to have been an event that no one cares about. They're like "lol yeah that happened, but you wanna hear about Pony Points!??!!"
Link, informed of what's going on, makes his way to find out more and travels to the base camp. There, everyone is still shook that he's alive and everything that happened. He meets up with Purah and she explains her and Robbie discovered some strange entries and features in the Sheikah slate. As a result, with how much it was heavily modified, they decided to rename it to the Sheikah Pad. Yes, I'm not a fan of the name Purah Pad.
This strange text seems to have just appeared here. I can't read it, but there's a man who can possibly decipher it. Too bad I've been busy trying to go and ask for his help.
Why not let me do it? <
Of course I thought of you, but both you and Zelda were missing. I was more concerned with keeping that on a need to know basis.
Zelda is missing? <
Yeah, you both just disappeared and since you were heading to the castle, we came here to see if you would return. Anyways, now that you're back, it would be a really big help if you could take this to Kakariko Village. There's a man named Tauro there who could probably figure out what any of this means.
Then, The Thunderhead Isles quest gets placed here like normal. The four corners of Hyrule aren't affected by anything yet, no Blizzard Rito village, infected Gorons, Mucked Zora's domain or Sand Shrouded Gerudo Desert. I'll explain why later.
Link is then introduced to Mineru, the sage of spirit, who introduces him to the Tears ('cause secret stones is a kind of dumb name with the game being called Tears of the Kingdom) and the power they hold when given to a sage. She then goes on to explain her history to Link and that they man they met was most likely Ganondorf, the Demon King.
In my time, me and five other sages attempted to defeat him... But he was too strong and easily lay waste to us. However, the sage of Light devised a plan and you are at the center of that plan. Together with the Master Sword and the Sages power, we should be able to finally defeat the Demon King!
Mineru gives Link the task of finding the other Sages, that she will be right by his side if he needs any guidance.
I'm changing when you get Mineru because the "true ending" of the game makes it like I'm supposed to care Mineru moves on. Like, I just met her and have little to no attachment. She's no Navi, Midna, Tatal, Spirit Zelda, Ezlo, Lineback, or King of Red Lions. They needed to give her more significance in the plot if they wanted me to care about her.
She does have something she needs him to do, but that can wait. She explains the different races of the Sages and tells him to find someone with great prowess within those races.
It's clear who Link needs to look for.
I wanna make a small note here. I honestly want to make the gameplay reliant in a certain order, for ex. doing Gorondia would be much easier if you already have Sidon, Gerudo Desert and The Lightening Temple would be easier with Tulin. Just so their near useless abilities could have more use. 'Cause we all know Tulin is useless unless you're in the air. I would have just liked it if the puzzles were more complicated and were harder without a certain sage there to make it 100x easier.
Link returns to Purah and details what he learned to her.
Well that couldn't have come at a worse time.
What do you mean? <
I mean, everywhere is experiencing mass events and it seemed to come straight out of nowhere. I don't know if you'll be able to get their help while these strange phenomenons are going on. Maybe if you help them first, we can go forward with this plan after.
So, in no particular order, Link sets out to help the four corners of Hyrule.
Now, I'm going to pause here and talk about the game progression for a moment. As much as I love the depths, it serves no purpose other than to hide Ganon away. Josha and her quests can all be sequence broken to hell considering I found every place she wanted me to go to years before she told me about them, and I even ignored the "Master Koga" quest and found Ganon entirely by accident (I'll never forget that btw, it was too funny). So, I wasn't sure what to do with it. I understand it's there so the story doesn't seem to pop out of nowhere; but with the way it is, it just seem poorly added to be sure the players can actually find Ganon if they didn't jump inside the Hyrule Castle Chasm like my crackhead ass did.
I really figured to have the depths give us more backstory on Ganon. My original original idea actually involved us playing three different stories (Link- the Main one, Zelda- the adjacent one, and Ganon- the opposite one) so if they're not gonna give us Ganon as something more than just the big bad villain guy, then this is the best I can think to add. The depths would serve as a way for you to learn more about the world Ganon lived in as there doesn't seem to be any Gerudo Statues so I could imagine Hyrule was like "ya'll hoes are evil. Gerudo who?" And that might have sent Ganon into a frenzy. Also, I'll add something at the bottom about Zelda's part. Back to the main story 👋
Link is successful in awakening the sages and getting them on board to defeat Ganon; but they're missing two. Mineru did say there were five including herself, but they only make up four.
This is what I needed your help with, Link. I'm a spirit and would serve you no good in this state. However, I was developing a body that I can control even in this form I'm in. Please, you have to find where the Construct Factory is and find my invention. This way, I can fight along side you all.
Note, I think Mineru's construct body is actual 🗑. I really only use it to break ore deposits and to reach crap that's too high. She's just too clunky and slow to be functional, so I thought of this instead. You would still collect each part (however you wanted too. Either one after each sage or all at once after all the sages) and these parts attach to Link. Her legs would allow Link to fall without damage (ik she can do that already, but you can't really fall with her. She just slides until a safe distance off the ground) and her arms would act as a power bracelet replacement allowing him to lift much heavier things he normally couldn't. What heavier things you ask, idk, maybe the devs should have the gimmick of the game actually apart of the gameplay instead of just in the open world.
Link descends in the depths and manages to find the place Mineru kept a secret from Ganon. Collecting the final sage.
They were still nowhere close to defeating him as the Light Sage was nowhere to be found and the Master Sword was still missing.
From high in the sky, a roar shook the earth forcing them look at the source. No matter how far away they were the sad feeling washed over Link as he stared into the sky seeing the strangely colored dragon.
A overwhelming feeling overcame him and before his very eyes he saw tears fall from the sky. Why was the dragon crying? Were those tears for the struggling Kingdom? There was only one way to find out.
For the Geoglyphs, I would just rewrite them entirely, half of them felt useless to get and like they didn't add anything I'm looking at you tea party. One of my main issues was Ganon saying Rauru was arrogant but like, we haven't seen that at all sooo... Anyways, if anyone wants to see how I would rewrite them, feel free to comment or reblog and write your own rewrites, I'd love to see them.
Link manages to find all the Geoglyphs and sees all the hardship Zelda had to face on her own. He gets one hint though and that's the lost woods.
That part would be the exact same, and lead to the Great Deku Tree telling you where the Master sword is.
In finding a way up to the light dragon, he discovers the Master sword and pulls it out. As Link does so, the dragon writhes in pain fighting against the feeling of the sword being removed. Though, soon, it calms and Link pulls out the sword releasing one final tear from the dragon.
You must protect them all!
Now, it's just to find where Ganon is. He's been hiding away this entire time, where was he?
You all talked about something called the Calamity?
Yes, I can't be sure, but it seems the man you all refer to is the same man born as our King years ago.
Strange that he has been reborn once already, but the form I know him is different than the one you all battled. If that's so, it's safe to assume he still resides in the place where he was sealed, only disturbed by the Calamity I would assume.
Mineru's assumptions seemed to be their only lead, so with everything together, Link travels into the Hyrule Castle Chasm and finds himself in the heart of the gloom.
At this point, the ending can play the exact same. Now, at least to me, the ending feels much more satisfying now that we're led into a path that allows us to feel strongly towards defeating Ganon cuz for me, totk didn't give a good enough reason--or a reason at all--for me to kill Ganon.
~Fin~
So, here's my final revisions to improve everything.
Rauru is a very strange character. He's the equivalent of a God and yet doesn't explain why he and his sister just drop to earth and take the throne. He's "arrogant" despite no scene of that ever being present and he does seem to be hiding something but the game cuts off before we can explore that. I think Rauru and Sonia shouldn't have been romantic lovers, but simply married for political gain. It makes their strangely forced romantic interactions make more sense (and come on political marriage was common in those times)
Raru should have been the "gray area" good guy. Ignoring Zelda when she tries to bring up legitimate concerns, dismissing Sonia when he feels there's nothing more to talk about and thinking his way is the best way to handle things. I don't mean for him to be a giant asshole, but he could simply not want to talk about things "until later" and later means it probably won't happen ever. That way Rauru could have the plot point that Ganon feels Rauru's laid-back mentality isn't how a king--or God--should act. So when push comes to shove, Ganon chose to shove. Exposing Rauru and his folly. This would make him less of an idiotic ruler who seems to have little to no urgency about an event he was told will happen.
Ganon had soooo much missed potential. Not only did we miss the chance to have him as an ally/anti-hero, but we missed the chance to get real backstory over how Ganon came to be how he is. I don't think the excuse of "he has evil in his heart" can work with a person who called someone arrogant. Ganon clearly has idealism and not knowing where it comes from kind of sucks. Also, he just was chilling in a hole when he could have come out and tried to kill me any time Misko distracted me with a bottle. Just sayin' 🤷
He just needed some characterization somewhere in the game and since the depths have the different tunics, maybe Ganon's history is preserved down there as well
As for Zelda, I have no idea why she just isn't being more assertive with mentioning that maybe, just maybe Calamity Ganon is related to the same man she says has evil in his heart. There's no need to "keep him close" because it's canon that he's evil, Zelda already knows Rauru. Listen to her start planning already 👏👏
Alongside this, her "sacrifice" held no impact because I 1. Already found out she was the light dragon way before I even did the Geoglyphs, and 2. Stopped caring when I found out ItS iRrEveRsIbLe. I guess Sonia and Rauru missed that one. Zelda just needed to keep the matured tone she had from the end of BOTW
To end things, let me say this rewrite is not saying the game is horrible. Totk is actually a favorite of mine, but it's my favorite because of what I can obviously see is there, but isn't reaching for one reason or another. This game's story is trying its hardest to be something, but it can't quite become what it wants to be.
I hope this game can find its Light Dragon someday.
If you read all of this, thanks. If I managed to five you something to do for a few minutes, I'm happy you got even that out of it ☺
Again, thanks for reading and Hyrule is awaiting you

🍊Read the first part here for context🍊
A single kiss was all you needed to melt under Barbatos’s touch. You were gently pushed down to the bed with Barbatos never separating from the kiss you two shared, but when he did break you were quickly touched elsewhere and you let out a gasp.
His fingers ran down your sides until they reached between your legs. He was swift in removing your nightwear and his fingers were softly running against the warmth of your pussy. While his fingers slowly started to enter you, he remained near your face and gently kissed down your neck.
“Looks like I don’t even need to do this.”
While you could barely keep your eyes open, you managed to peek a small glance at the side of his face. He was smirking after every tender kiss that sent shivers down your body.
“Because I was thinking of the last time we did this.”
“That was almost a month ago now. You still remember it that vividly?”
“You don’t?”
He chuckled near your ear. “Of course I remember it.” His finger slipped inside you and pumped slowly. “I remember how much you liked me eating you out…” Your breath hitched. “How sensitive you were to everything I did… and how excited it made me.”
Whispering this in your ear, his hot breath tickled your skin making you arch your back into him. Your squirming only pushed his finger further into your body giving you pleasure from actions he wasn’t even doing. You tried not to lose yourself too early.
“You’re so good at servicing, why not let me do something?”
“Because what kind of guest would you be if you did any work?”
You smiled. “Is that saying I need to invite Diavolo to my region? You’ll follow him and you’ll have to allow me to service you then.”
Barbatos chuckled and removed his finger. “Perhaps it would be nice to see what you would give me instead.” He started to remove his clothes.
You were locked on his figure and in your daze your hand reached to touch the buttons of his shirt. Assisting him, he was back over you in no time and captured your lips once again in a heated kiss. You wrapped your arms around his shoulders, pulling him in closer to you. His hands went to your own shirt and he removed it before cupping your breast in his hand.
You broke from the kiss. “Please, at least let me do one thing.”
“What is it?”
You sat up and guided him to rest back on the bed. You straddled his hips seeing his dick just below you, with a slight giggle your hands grasped it and rubbed it against yourself. Barbatos grunted a bit, his hands went to your hips.
“This teasing is making us both crazy.”
“I know, I just wanna make this last.”
“Don’t worry, you can stay here instead of returning to your room.”
“I don’t think either of us will get any sleep if I do…” You moved your hips up and slowly slid yourself onto his hard dick. The feeling made you gasp out, but you continued until he was fully inside you. Looking down, you saw his slightly red face admiring the sight before him. You smiled while resting for a second. “But I don’t mind staying up with you.”
He chuckled and in the same moment thrusted up making you squeak at the sudden motion. This also got you to move. Ss he pushed into you, you slammed down onto him. Nothing was in your mind except the feeling of Barbatos filling you up, you wanted this to last forever and got more vocal as well as more vigorous.
Barbatoss hands gripped your hips tightly as even he himself was losing composure. His soft groans matched with yours while the sound of your hips slapping accompanied the enjoyment they were both having.
You leaned over and held onto Barbatos tightly, a budding climax rising as you rode him. Barbatos was always able to make you cum much faster than himself and knowing that you were right there, he gave your ear gentle licks and ran his fingers up your back barely ghosting your skin.
“Barbatos’ I’m… gonna cum!” Your voice was whiny, something that only made Barbatos smile.
He loved how you got because of him and seeing how much you were enjoying increased how good he felt.
“I want you to cum for me.”
“B-but, I want to cum with you.”
He smirked and started thrusting harder up into you. You knew you weren’t going to be able to hold it for much longer and with how much he was doing to you, it was a shock you made it this far. That wouldn’t hold for very long as the knot you felt released and your climax washed over your body. Barbatos felt you clamp around him and continued to thrust in you as you came, and the second you started to climb down from it, Barbatos quickly switched positions. You were on your back and Barbatos towered over you, keeping himself inside you the entire time.
You were unable to even think of anything to say when Barbatos continued to thrust into you. Your legs came up to wrap around his waist and you held onto him like your life would end if you let go.
Through most of this, Barbatos was able to keep his sounds minimal, but right now the sound of your pleasure filled cries in ear and your tight grip on his entire body forced louder moans from his lips. Much sooner than he anticipated, he felt close to release.
“(Y/n)… don’t let go of me.”
Even if you wanted to say something, you were so lost in the pleasure at this point you didn’t, but you instead answered by tightening your hold against him. His thrusts only got harder and lost some of their rhythm by the time he was on the edge. Your own climax started to build again, making your moans even louder and filled with a desperate whine, begging for release.
“I… love you so much, Barbatos!”
With your nails digging in his back, moans in his ear, and those words; you were able to send Barbatos over the edge and feeling his cum spill inside you made you cum as well. Neither one of you could think straight in the seconds after, but Barbatos managed to compose himself with your now almost limp body barely clinging onto him.
Seeing your relaxed face, he smiled and leaned down to kiss your forehead before whispering, “I love you too, more than anything you know.”
Overjoyed with his words, you pushed out some strength and embraced him tightly, bringing him down to rest beside you. While you two rested together, he spoke up again.
“We should get cleaned up before going to bed.”
You hummed. “You’re right, but I guess you’ll have to run my bath. After all, I am just a guest.”
He chuckled while rubbing your side. “Naughty one aren’t you? I guess I can forgive you for now.”
You smiled and leaned up to peck his lips. “Now and forever, Barbatos.”

Some of Barbatos' lines are my hot cheesy bread and butter. This is the result of that. I also logged in today, saw it was his birthday then immedetly forgot it was, so I guess this can double as a birthday gift for Barbs 💞
A Royal Sacrifice
Wc: 1.7k
Warning: somehow this turned a bit angsty. Not a lot, but just a little bit of saddness.
...
As the door to the Demon Lord’s Castle opened up, Barbatos was greeted by a face that he knew was coming, but he still found himself in slight shock at your appearance. Not because he wasn’t expecting you, but because he was.
Your face had a sweet smile, underlying something else he dared not to think about.
“Am I early? You looked shocked?”
He cleared his throat. “No, of course I knew you were going to be here.” He moved out of the way and gestured for you to enter.
“That power of yours is handy.” You walked in, but not very far. Watching him close the door Barbatos looked back at her once it was shut and they were alone in the large entrance.
“The Young Master is eagerly awaiting your appearance. No need to wait on me.”
His words felt a bit cold, you couldn’t help but think Barbatos was rushing you. Before you could think to ask him that, Diavolo’s voice stole your attention.
“(Y/n)! I’m so glad you made it here safely.” He started down the stairs and made his way over you two.
As much as you knew your visit was for Diavolo, you couldn’t help the weighing feeling you got from not being able to talk to Barbatos about his behavior. Of course he wasn’t acting inappropriately or treating you with disrespect; but it felt… odd how he was acting.
Barbatos left you and Diavolo to speak. So you focused on Diavolo as you walked together.
“It hasn’t been that long since I was last here. It almost feels like I live here at this point.”
“I wouldn’t be opposed to it. This castle gets very lonely after a while and having someone else around makes it lively.”
You giggled. “Though I don’t suppose this time is for leisure?”
“No, unfortunately. I wanted to meet with you to discuss an issue that’s been occurring. Lately, some denizens have wanted to move to your region.”
“Really? I guess that explains the influx of Devildom residents coming by. I thought it was simply just a random event going on. Perhaps Leviathan summoned Lotan in the town square or Beelzebub ate through everything.”
Diavolo laughed. “No, if it was that I would have told you. No, I’ve conducted some research and found they simply want to live there. Some want a change of pace, others are just getting started and feel your land is perfect for someone just starting out.”
“I can see how they would feel that way. Though I hope they don’t assume I’m going to prioritize them over my naive borns.”
“That’s why I wanted to talk with you. I wanted to have a proper system in place for anyone who wants to leave here and go there.”
“Now I can see why you wanted me to stay a while.” You held your tongue as your thoughts started to wander.
All of a sudden that cold feeling Barbatos seemed to give you washed over you again. Though he wasn’t anywhere around you, perhaps this is what the feeling was attached to. You shook it off, and continued speaking with Diavolo.
As time went on, you and Diavolo spent extensive hours discussing something that you both could agree on. In the end, the day was met with only one thing you both agreed on. With more headache than you two could handle, Diavolo called your meeting to an end and you shared a more relaxed dinner together.
Of course during this Barbatos refused to remain in the area. He simply brought dinner, refilled glasses and explained he had other matters to attend to. This wasn’t the best feeling ever, but being a ruler of an entire region made hiding your feelings all the easier. Not that it didn’t hurt. You still had feelings after all, and those feelings ended you up here—outside Barbatos’ room. You wanted desperately to knock on the door, but something made you stop. As you stood there you wondered about how all this came to be.
Weeks before this stay, you were invited to a ball Diavolo was hosting for a new Human resident. You enjoyed your time, but found yourself suffering at the forced social interactions. You managed to escape, but not without Barbatos noticing. Worried, he asked if you were okay and his words eased you. He had a way of speaking to you that you came to enjoy and after that short meeting, you were desperate to spend more time with him.
Being some of the few who were staying at the castle after the ball, you found every way to run into Barbatos and it seemed he enjoyed your presence as well. In fact, you knew he did after he spent the night in your guest bedroom.
Things seemed almost magical after that. It almost made you want to marry in fact, but that brought you back to reality.
This was why Barbatos was avoiding you. No matter how much he may have cherished you, he can’t leave the side of the Demon Lord. That thought made a tear fall from your eye and you let out the breath you were unconsciously holding. As you tried to muffle your cries, the door opened and Barbatos was there in front of you. Neither of you said anything, but you quickly composed yourself and tried to brush things off.
“I’m sorry. I know it’s late, I shouldn’t be here.”
“(Y/n)?”
“Yes?”
He said nothing for a long time. You could almost feel your tears welling again, but somehow you were able to keep them at bay while he stood in front of you.
Barbatos let out a sigh. “I’m sorry that you have to suffer like this.”
“Barbatos, please, I’m not suffering.”
“You know very well that’s a lie. I don’t even need my ability to know that much.” He stepped forward and cupped your face.
With his gloves off you instantly felt goosebumps at his warm skin on yours. Your hand came up as well and tried to pull his away. Your resistance was weak and soon your eyes closed, stepping forward you felt Barbatos arms around your shoulders. You shook against him and soon your words came out.
“I don’t know what’s worse. The fact that I’m putting you in this position or the fact that I’ll never be able to have you.”
Barbatos said nothing, but he started to pull you into his room. While you weren’t very familiar with it, it felt horrible that this was the first time you’re seeing it. All your excitement to learn more about Barbatos was carried away by the sorrow you felt in this moment. Barbatos guided you over to a bed and you two sat together, still holding on tightly to one another.
“I knew you’d come to the same realization I did, but I had to be sure.” You looked up barely able to hold back your tears anymore. “I looked ahead and saw what I needed to.”
“Our future isn’t one you can see… because it may never happen.” He remained quiet, but in your state, you spoke again. “What if I relinquish my role? That way I can just live here with you.”
His head shook. “Even though I knew you would say something like that, it still surprises me how willing you are. For me, you’d lose everything you built, everything you own.”
“Because while I do care about that, I can’t sustain things on my own forever. Your love for me is something I’ll never get with anyone else.”
“You will, (Y/n).”
Your eyes narrowed. “What are you talking about? I don’t care what you saw, do you really believe I could love anyone else but you?”
“I’m not saying that because I saw anything, I’m saying that because of how wonderful you are. I know someone will eventually fall for you the exact same way I did.”
“So I’m supposed to move on because I’m charismatic? I refuse to believe my life ends up with someone else.” You managed to break from his grasp and rubbed your tears away. “There has to be something where I can prove that no matter the situation we found ourselves in, we… might have a chance where everything works out.”
Facing him, you saw the look in his eyes. Barbatos’ usual composed appearance almost seemed broken here.
You took his hand in yours. “You know as well as I do that I oppose the future expected of me. First of my reign to never marry and you think I would change that just so we don’t end up together?”
He squeezed your hand and let out a sigh as his head dropped to rest on your shoulder. “I never expected to meet someone like you. Even when we first met, I didn’t think anything could come of it, but now I can’t see a world without you.”
“And if we share that sentiment, then we’ll find a way.”
His arms snaked around your waist, pulling you back against him. “With your will, I don’t doubt you would find a way. It’s just, I saw you still as the ruler of your region. The only conclusion I could come to was… you moving on.”
“I don’t know what will happen, but I know one thing and that’s the fact that you would be the only person I want to marry. Otherwise, after my reign is over, my role will be taken by someone else unrelated to me.”
He looked up at you. “You shouldn’t want just anyone to take your role.”
“I know, but if that’s what it takes to be with you then so be it.”
For the first time since you saw him, a smile grew on his face. This lifted your own spirits and you smiled as well.
“Then, we’ll experience this future together. You and all your puzzling decisions.” Barbatos once more held your face in his. “May I indulge myself and have you tonight?”
Your eyes started to close. “Yes, do whatever it is you want with me. At least we’re sure about this.”
🍊 Soooooo, I was gonna have a smut attached to this, but this ending was too good for that. I did write a smut tho, which you can check out here (be careful minors).
It just didn't seem right adding to this part.

A little follow up to my last post about the update. I don't like to complain without giving feedback on what would be 20x better than a quick access menu for... Stuff almost no one cares about.
The update could have consisted of better BGs in general, maybe a theme store or smth idk. I’ve only gotten one in Nightbringer and it looks a little strange. Idk if its lq or is it blurry on purpose.
I feel like for Nightbringer they could keep the BGs simpler and just have colors, shapes, designs, and themes. Here’s an example of what I mean.

I actually edited this because I really liked the BG for the Candy Levi they released--tbh, all the BGs for themed events are really pretty and suit NB a lot.
Anyways, another thing is instead of a menu, I randomly thought of having that area be filled with the boss images of the brothers. I love Levi in his little bubble and would love having him float in the corner of the screen. It could also act as another quick menu for lessons or something, here’s what I mean.

While I was making this I almost died thinking of him casually shooting his little bubble fish while I'm thinking of what to do 😭
I don’t know if the secondary characters have boss battles or not, but so far I haven’t seen them, what else is new though? rip those fans huh ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Last thing about the home screen, for some reason I also thought of having their running sprites on the side as well. I just thought it’d be a cute little thing to mess around with when you’re going through the home screen. Or they could possibly follow the beat of whatever song you have playing.
You know, just a thought ✌
