Christophe wouldn't have minded to stay indoors if Gregory didn't wish to go anywhere with him. Since the two haven't gone outside for a while though aside from business-related stuff, it certainly wouldn't kill the two to go for a walk outside their residence. After some tea of course.

A simple nod with what also looked to be a soft smile upon his expression while Christophe took the blond's tea cup to refill it from the kettle that still had freshly brewed tea in it.

"Oui. I'd like zat." He responds while handing Gregory his freshly poured tea in a cup. Strangely enough although Gregory didn't seem to be in the best of spirits right now, Christophe felt a little content, and he was hoping maybe a walk would help Gregory ease his mind at least a little.

"Maybe we can take a stroll around town or wherever you'd like, ma chere amie."

He wasn't sure why he was feeling a little content. Maybe he didn't need to have a reason to feel this way.

Silence for a few seconds, mostly because the blond was trying to keep his composure and lower his temper. Breathe... breathe.

A slow inhale is taken.

"... I think I could use another cup of tea. After that... would you like to go for a walk, 'Tophe?"

He was absolutely sick of being cooped up inside at this point. Getting out of here and way from his responsibilities for a bit would be really damn nice.

Finally the brunette is able to speak after Gregory was able to get off the phone. "You seem to be in a joyful mood." He speaks with sarcasm, turning his head towards the blond's direction

"Do you need your tea refilled? Or..."

Or maybe there was something else he can try to do to cheer his friend up a little. Maybe they can go for a walk, or simply just be next to each other.

"Is there something I should be concerned about?"

This is why Gregory only had a limited number of people that worked for him when it came to his secret job of staging revolutions and removing those in corrupt power: There were too many chances for screw ups and incompetence. A frustrated noise leaves him, setting the cup of tea aside as he stands.

"Straighten it out or I'll do it FOR YOU!"

There is a resounding slam as he hangs up-- the phone having been an old and rather fancy land line. With a hard sigh, he drops back into his chair and brings a hand up to rub at his temple.

"Morons..."

At least Gregory took the freshly made tea. Didn't look like he disliked it either. That was good otherwise he probably wouldn't have taken that slow sip, maybe.

Should Christophe be worried about who Gregory was on the phone with and why he was yelling over the phone? Surely he couldn't be yelling at Craig over the phone. Although Craig was quite a nuisance, at least to Christophe, surely Craig can't be that stupid for... whatever reason.

Maybe the brunette should do something to calm his friend down after being done on the phone. Or he could just simply tell him to hang up. However whatever business matter this was, Christophe didn't want to interfere with it.

He stood in silence beside the blond, and decided to just look out the window behind them.

Despite the nerves, the Brit does take the offered tea with a quiet sigh. Taking a slow sip. In truth, he's actually on the phone at the moment, speaking with another that works under him on the other end of the line.

Something is said and it makes his brow quirk slightly.

"I don't CARE how you do it, just DO IT! So help me, if I have to come down there and handle this mission directly I will make sure you will not be able to sleep for a WEEK!"

Whatever the topic was, it was very clearly pissing him off.

Cue puppy-like eyes coming from Christophe.

He's been silent and listening the entire time while about to deliver Gregory his freshly made cup of tea.

Has Christophe done something wrong? Or maybe Gregory just isn't in the mood for some tea.

Maybe he should say something... Or simply just hand Gregory his tea.

"Maybe I would be in a better mood... if people would stop being so fucking STUPID."

Just another friendly reminder again that if I am slow and have not responded to our threads, or even things ooc, it is nothing against anybody. It does not mean anybody is annoying me nor does it mean I hate y'all. Often times I'm just tired, exhausted, and burnt out. They have nothing to do with writing. I'm just often busy with work and doing things around the house. Sometimes I'm also busy with other things in life. Sometimes mental health also takes a toll on me and then sometimes I shut down for a while.

I admit I have dropped some threads and even asks. I either just wasn't feeling them anymore or I wasn't sure how to respond, and I didn't want to keep stressing myself out with how I should respond to them.

If someone seems to gets a "speedy" response from me, once again I am not ignoring anybody. Sometimes I might be really into a thread and then they get my response first, if that makes any sense???????

TL;DR

I'm often burnt out.

Writing is the least of my priorities
