Has anyone else been to Silverwood in Idaho? If not, you should, it's amazing. I went with my parents for my birthday a while back and it was epic. I was admittedly on an insane adrenaline/sugar high for the entire day, due to my love of crazy rides and my determination to eat a funnel cake. The stunt pilot coaster is incredible, although, for some reason, it goes at different speeds depending on the run, and the Tremor coaster has a drop into a tunnel that 6 a bit farther than you'd think. It is a long-standing family debate whether the drop tower is worse on the way up or down, I believe that the way up is worse, like any sensible person. I did want to go on the Aftershock, but, at the end of the day when the park was almost closed and we were going to be on next, the people ahead of us got on the ride, waited quite a while and were then told that there would be a delay for an unknown amount of time, they were then told to undo and refasten their restraints several times, before once again being told that the delay would be an unknown amount of time. At that point, we left and went back to the stunt pilot, which was a good decision, as we didn't see the Aftershock go back on for the rest of the night. Also, my mom somehow got stung right in the waterline of her eye by a bee when we were walking down the part of the park with the stores. She has luck TM, and I still don't know how these things always happen to her, but they do. Consistency.

Some mouse skeletons I found while helping my mom clear out her old studio/the place where my family has been dumping all our random stuff for years. We're turning it into a joint sewing and pottery studio.

A caught a toad! I was walking up a logging toad near my house in the evening and it just hopped across the road, so I took off my shoe, scooped it up and walked home with one shoe on my foot and the other in my hand with a frog in it! I've lived in the same place for 15 years, and I regularly go on hikes in the middle of the forest and in the mountains, and I have NEVER EVER seen a toad. My mom saw one once, but we were driving home from a trip and I was asleep. I honestly was never sure if I really believed that she actually saw one, but I now know there are, in fact, toad where I live. (The frog is sitting on my head in the second picture)

Ok, so here's a funny story from my childhood. When I was a little kid (like younger than 8, I think) I was in SCPA camp, and we had an animal jeopardy game. When it was my teams turn, the question was, "What do spiders use to make their silk?" The answer, obviously, was spinnerets, and when I got it right, the counselor said I was the first one in any of the camps, even the older kid ones. So whenever I need instant smugness, this is where I draw from.

A picture I took of some wild flowers my mom picked. I just use a cheap android that came out a few years back, so the quality isn't great. I'm hoping to get a new phone with a better camera this year and maybe start learning more about photography.
