My name is Mo'men, and I’m a young Palestinian who dreamed of a bright future after high school.

Instead of celebrating, I found myself running for my life, escaping bombs, destruction, and fear.😥

Our home was crushed into dust 🏚️. My brother lost his job. My school and my sister’s university turned into shelters for displaced families.

We fought for survival for six long months under bombs and siege, until we finally reached Egypt, carrying nothing but a few plastic bags... and a lot of broken dreams.💔

Today, we have no home, no income, no safe place to call our own.

My father is suffering with severe back pain and can’t work. Medical bills, daily expenses, even the hope of renting a small home—we simply can’t afford it anymore.🥺

But despite everything, I refuse to give up. I still dream of going to university, of rebuilding my life, of standing on my own feet and helping my family.

Holding Onto Memories 🎞️

There’s a strange thing about memories—sometimes, they feel like the only thing we have left. I close my eyes, and I can still see my family sitting around the dinner table, laughing at a joke my uncle made. I can still hear my mother calling me to come inside before it gets too late. I can still feel the warm sun on my face as I walked home from school, thinking about my next big dream.

Now, those moments feel like they belong to another life. The streets aren’t the same. The people aren’t the same. And I—I don’t know if I’m the same either. But I hold onto those memories so tightly because they remind me of who I am, of the love I’ve known, of the warmth that still exists somewhere in this world.

If you’re reading this, take a moment to appreciate the little things. Hug your family. Send a message to an old friend. Step outside and take a deep breath of fresh air. 🌿 These are the moments that matter. These are the things that make life beautiful.

No matter where life takes me, I’ll never stop cherishing the love that shaped me. And I hope, wherever you are, you never stop appreciating the love around you too. 💙

This is Israa's fundraiser. Israa (@naseranam225) is a young woman, just 25 years old, and she is looking to evacuate herself and her children from Gaza.

Her son, Nessar, is only 2 years old, and at this point has lived almost half of his life in this genocide. Israa gave birth to her daughter Inaam just over two months ago, in a plastic tent, in the blistering heat. Inaam knows nothing but the carnage of this genocide

The situation in Gaza means she can't provide either of her children with the diapers, food, and health care that they need. At these ages, their health is fragile, and they need vaccines and regular checkups that they can't get in this genocide.

All of these struggles, and she has to go through them alone. About five months ago, Israa's husband was abducted by the I.O.F. I'm sure I don't need to tell you about the horrors Palestinian suffer at the hands of Israeli jailers. Israa does not know the fate of her husband, and just needs to hope that he is still alive. Israa also lost both of her parents to this genocide, and she is now left to fend for her little family alone.

Currently, Israa has raised £818 out of her £20,000 goal. I want us to get her to £1,100 in the next 24 hours.

Unfortunately, most Americans are too selfish to pressure Kamala (or any candidate) to change their stance on Palestine. They won't even threaten to vote for a 3rd party or not at all if her stance doesn't change. Instead, as long as they pretend to care about minorities in the US, it doesn't matter the rest of their politics. It doesn't affect them. So they 'vote blue no matter who' and shrug their shoulders saying that at least Trump isn't in office. But it doesn't matter to those in Palestine because both candidates have the same pro-Israel stance. It doesn't matter if the weapons are sent by the Democrats or Republicans if it destroys your home and kills your loved ones.

We are literally ten months into the genocide in Gaza and a few months off a US election. It's fairly obvious that after a while people start to lose their minds but it also becomes fairly obvious that after a few months we know who really cares and who doesn't.

It's become very blatant to us as Palestinians as a whole who are our true allies and who only hopped on because it was the 'cause of the moment.' And I hate saying that because it's exactly what Zionists use to disparage and discredit people who support Palestine but unfortunately for liberals they've shown their asses.

Palestinians cannot stop you from voting for Kamala. We're just asking that you don't guilt trip others into voting for her, we ask that you don't stan her and act like she's an angel sent from above, but most of all we ask that you don't whitewash the complicity of this current administration (which Kamala is a part of) or the incoming one (if she wins) in the role they have played in Gaza.

It feels so oddly like de ja vu in some instances because in 2016 people were willing to overlook Bernie's disappointing stances on Palestine because of his stance on everything else compared to his Dem counterpart when in reality the bar was in hell.

Palestinians have been fighting for almost 8 decades. This genocide in Gaza is really just an event in the timeline of events. If you consider yourself an ally to Palestine and Palestinians, you have to be in it long-term. Not just when it conveniently suits you or it's the 'cause of the moment.' This isn't just a single issue either but is bigger than just Palestine.
