Moon Flower

A/N: My first One Piece fanfic. Not sure how its going to go I have sort of an idea of where I want it to go but we'll see. This will be a Law x OFC story.

Prologue

“Join my pirate crew,” Luffy demanded, a giant grin across his seven year old face. 

“Idiot,” Ace cut in. “She’s gonna join my crew.”

“I don’t want to be a pirate,” Luna snapped at her younger brothers. The argument was a frequent one between the two boys. “I’m gonna be a thief.”

“How?” 

“Yeah, you’re not very sneaky.” Luffy joined Ace.

The blonde girl glared at them, the forest around her began to creak in ominous warning. “I’ll have the plants do it for me,” she replied as a blueberry bush grew beside her little berries spotting it. “Duh.”

“That’s stupid.” Both boys said as one. 

Luna let out an angry squawk before storming away from them, Back to Dadan and the other mountain bandits. 

At ten years old, she was the eldest of the three orphans, she was six months older than Ace, and the one who had been with the mountain bandits the longest. Dadan was the closest thing she would ever have to a mother. 

“Brat!” Dadan greeted the child as she stormed up the walkway. “You have a visitor.”

Luna perked up immediately and ran straight into the house. “Uncle Corazon!” She launched herself at the tall man disregarding the fact that he was not prepared. Subsequently falling over by the surprise attack of the little one. 

He laughed and when they were both sitting up he asked. “How’s my favorite niece?”

“Ready to go on an adventure,” she replied. “You promised to take me on one, remember? So I could become a world famous thief!” 

“Soon give it a couple years,” he replied. “I wanted to stop by and tell you, you won’t be seeing me for a while.”

“What why?” her cheeks puffed out with irritation. 

“I got another little kid, he’s about your age, really sick. I’m gonna get him some help, but it’ll take time.”

Her eyes got wide. “Take me with you,” she said instantly. 

“It’s too dangerous.”

She glared, “I can take care of myself. Watch.” She held out her right hand and from in between the floorboards vines with little thorns shot out and hit the nearest vase breaking it. “See! I’ve been practicing. Please take me with you! I’ll be good! I promise!”

Corazon fished out a cigarette and went to light it. “If you come with us you have to promise to listen to everything I say. No arguing, no back talking. Understand?”

Luna nodded eagerly. 

Corazon sighed and gave in. 

His niece beamed at him. “I have to go tell Ace and Luffy don’t leave without me!”

yo…. when jet breaks in the tea shop and accuses zuko and iroh of beinh firebenders….

do you think any of the patrons looked at zukos scarred face - obviously done by a firebender - and immediately think jet was an asshole? like

jet: hes a firebender!!!!

patrons, thinking about the backstory they concocted for zuko and iroh where their home was invaded by firebenders and they barely survived with their lifes so they could come and have a peaceful life selling tea in a city the war doesnt touch:

Writers who create dark fiction do not need to:

be your therapist

be responsible for your consumption

explain concepts readily available to you through Google searches

share their past or traumatic experiences

answer questions about their trauma

apologize for you ignoring warnings

cater to your entitlement

And that’s it. Be responsible for your damn self.

I’m know I’m not the first person to say this, but any newbies on tumblr really need to understand how different this is from a lot of other social media. Particularly tiktok.

I just saw a creator on tiktok reminding followers that it’s actually a problem when someone goes back to the earliest post and watches all the posts chronologically, liking and commenting along the way. The stupid app recognizes it as spam or something and then kinda puts a halt on their account? Literally punishing people for positive engagement?? 🥴🤦‍♀️

I’ve already heard people saying years back how they don’t want to be “creepy” and go through a persons blog, liking and reblogging tons of stuff. But think how many more people are going to be worried about it now, thinking they might do actual damage! Most people, especially younger people, are so used to the way tiktok works now. So please, do not ever worry about this on here. Just remember-

You will never do any harm if you go on a like and reblog fest through someone’s tumblr blog! The only risk you’re taking is to make the blog owner weep for joy!! 😭🤣

Claire: In between "it's an avocado, thanks" and "how did you take down Captain America", but as a solid answer I would say "I don't need a degree to be a clothing hanger". How about you, Mohinder?

Have I hand written 28 pages to a storyline that I haven't touched in like 3-5 years...yes...am I planning on reworking said story I started years ago that I originally posted links to on my inactive blog tryingtobeanimaginesblog...also yes...do I still need to work on Wayward Daughter as well...yes...will I be able to one day get all these projects done? God I hope so.
