“Obviously not!” Wisely furrowed his brow, the demon eye flashing white-hot into his senses. “Lavi, I am not easily lied to, you need a doctor.” 

“ what are you talking about? this is not just a scratch ”

“I know my limits. I’ll be fi- tss!” he said in a strained voice. He made the mistake of shifting in his seat to try and get more comfortable, aggravating the large laceration on his side.

“You’re right, I should probably get to know you a little better then, if we’re going to live together.” Wisely smiled into the phone, “Alright then. Maybe we can just order-in instead. After we go and look around a bit.”

“You’re too kind to me, Lavi.” Wisely shook his head, “too kind indeed.” He glanced back towards the livingroom, over towards Tyki who sat on the couch, playing with the cat, “I hope I see you soon. I love you.” He added, “don’t worry though, I won’t get too sappy with you.”

Wisely’s chair creaked as he leaned back into the seat, staring upwards at the ceiling to give his neck a rest from hunching forward towards his computer screen, “You’re enthusiastic, you should like I just asked for your hand in marriage.” He laughed under his breath, “let me know how long you’ll be, I could make something for a late lunch if you don’t take too much longer.”

He resumed typing, “I think maybe we could look around somewhere a bit closer to your store, I hate making you walk and plus I’d be closer to Natalie’s office and the part of town I have my other meetings in.”
