Rainy day

The marauders liked to play games in the common room when the weather was bad just this time Lily played along! She didn't know how to play so they explained:

James: Basically you start by saying "once upon a time" and go on however you like.

Sirius: You can say just one word and the next person goes on or you can say more but no more than one sentence!

Peter: Everyone can just jump in to your sentence whenever they like and change everything.

Remus: And we'll let the quick quote qill write everything we say down, so we can check no one is cheating and we can check them out to have a good laugh another day!

As it happened to be Harry Potter found one of those upmade stories in his dormitory!

Lily: Once upon a time there lived a very old man

Peter: in the forbidden forest.

James: He wasn't just old

Sirius: but also a gigant.

Remus: His name was

Lily: Elliott.

James: Elliott was in love with

Peter: Lora a

Sirius: dwarf.

Remus: Luckily she was quite tall for a dwarf

Lily: and Elliott rather short for a giant.

Sirius: They were still a strage pair.

James: However, they could not care less

Peter: about other people thoughs.

Magic

Mr and Mrs Evans of number twelve, Rosewood way, were proud to say that they were absolutely extraordinary. It was that year that they all discovered that they had a witch in the family. Their youngest child Lily received a yellowish letter, with emerald green writing and a violet wax stamp on it, to her eleventh birthday. The next day a strange looking man with a long beard knocked on their door. He said that his name was Dumbledor, he explained to them what the letter meant and what would come next. She smiled over both ears when she heard him say “You are a witch, Lily.”  She could not hide her excitement anymore: “Severus was right!”

Her parents were very proud of her and even her older sister was proud. Lily showed her mum a flower trick when she had seen the flowers on the table fade away. Her father got them for her on her birthday. Lily wanted to make them last for her for as long as possible. Her parents couldn’t have found a greater match. Her mother loved flowers and her father loved to surprise her with flowers for the garden or the kitchen table. Lily and Petunia used to help their mother in the garden when they were off school. But their favorite day of the week was Saturday. Saturdays were family days they cooked, they baked, they ate, they played and the best part was at the end of the day they would watch a movie all together. 

Over the past few months, Lily couldn’t concentrate right in Primary School, the only thing on her mind seemed to be Hogwarts. Nevertheless you could not see that on her grades, she was still the best in class, even better than Severus. The break times they’ve spent together showing each other some new things everyday. Lily’s favorite magical trick was with flowers. She got sad every time she saw a dead plant, so she picked them up and while she hid them in her palms she concentrated very hard on it and it would start blooming again. Severus liked to make things move, no matter what. They had the most fun in their breaks. They couldn't see a lot of each other outside of school, Petunia had known just too well how to avoid him. 

Petunia did not like Severus at all, every now and then Lily would ask her why but her answer didn’t change: “I don’t know, he is weird. He stalks you, you should stay away from him. He is no good for you.” - “But he is like me, we are both magic.” - “No, he is different. I can’t tell you why but I think he is dark.” She also liked to say: “He is not like you. He is a bit like Madam Mim and you are more like Merlin. He is dark, you are light.” - “He does not use dark magic.” - “You don’t know that.” - “You don’t either!” That was how most of their arguments went these days. Lily knew Petunia just wanted to protect her, but Petunia didn’t understand that he was the only other person she could talk to about magic.

It was finally the time for her. As soon as the summer break started she went to diagon alley with her family and they got all her school supplies for her. They were astounded by all the magic they had seen there. It was even greater than in their wildest dreams. By the end of the day she had her suitcase already packed  for the school year. She never wanted the summer to pass faster than this year. Her summer was still great, they went to gran canaria for holidays. However the best memories she got of the year 1971 was her first day in Hogwarts. The train ride, the trolley witch, the boat ride, the castle, the sorting, the feast, the pictures, the common room, the dorms and the best of it all new friends for life.

How school can change you

Lily Evans life.

Lily Evans always has been a very happy little girl and she was very excited to go to school now. Her older sister Petunia already went to school and Lily knew that the school had changed her. They used to play a lot together but now she always just sat in her room: "I don't have time to play, Lils. I have homework to do." However, that hadn't changed Lily’s mind towards school. She hoped she could spend more time with Petunia once they went to the same school. Well she couldn't have been more wrong.

After two years Petunia left their primary school to go to a boarding school in Wales. It was her wish to go there, so she could focus more on her grades: "I want to go there! There at least Lily can't distract me all the time." 

As time went on the two sisters grew apart especially after Lily was given the opportunity to go to the best boarding school in Scotland. She loved that school, Hogwarts meant the world to her. The only downside was, she wasn't able to visit home on the weekends. She could only visit her family for the holidays. One day Lily and Petunia grew apart so far that they wouldn't even look at each other anymore. So Lily just decided, it would be best to only go home for the Christmas and summer holidays. On the bright side she was able to spend a lot more time with her friends at Hogwarts and was to find her true love in the castle. 

After school had ended Lily tried to find a connection again with her sister, but she just resisted everything. The only times Lily would hear anything from her was in the form of an unthoughtful Christmas gift with a card attached to it.

The fifth marauder (?)

Everyone always thought that Lily Evans was an innocent little wallflower, but she truly wasn’t. She was always a very curious girl, if she wanted to know something she was determined to find the answer. No matter what she had to do for it, when she had to, she went into the forbidden parts of the castle to find her answers. She always took it to her own advantage that everyone thought that she was as innocent as a wallflower so she never got caught. It was only one time where she thought it would be over now, but even then she got out. Just how?

1972

James Potter was just as annoying as always but still, he and his friends caught Lily’s attention. She thought it weird that Remus, who was also a friend of Lily, was in the hospital wing every time after he had visited his family. First she thought his family might abuse him at home but every time he talked about his family it was something nice. He told her how much he missed his parents and how nice they were. He loved talking about his loving mother, according to Remus she made the best chocolate cookies there are. So when Lily tried to find out more she discovered that his family wasn’t abusive at all. She tried to dig deeper and came to a final conclusion: He did not return to his parents once a month. He went somewhere else. Just where?

Her new adventure started, she knew Remus would go today. He told her two days ago, before his immune system went down once again. She had a bad feeling he always went away when he got ill and he got ill a lot, at least once a month. So that evening she followed him, he didn’t even pack a bag for his days away. Soon enough Lily realised he was going to the hospital wing. When she heard someone coming back outside she quickly hid behind a statue. It was Remus and … Madam Pomfrey. Quietly she followed them out of the castle, it was too dark for Lily to see  where they were going. After a few minutes they stopped and Lily recognised the Whomping Willow. Lily’s heart sank, she knew how dangerous this tree was. She could see how the tree stretched its branches and got ready to fight. What were they doing here?! But just a moment later the tree seemed to stiffened itself again. Lily didn’t know how this just happened but she couldn’t worry about it now. She had to hide herself as quickly and quietly as possible - Madam Pomfrey turned around and walked back to the castle. Lily couldn't see Remus anymore, he was gone. She lost complete track of him but she wouldn’t give up. So she stayed in her hiding place between the trees of the forbidden forest and waited for Remus' return. The grounds started to light up in the dark. Lily looked up in the starry night sky - full moon. She loved Astronomy, many constellations she knew of by heart like canis major and minor, orion, leo, ursa major and minor… Before she could find them all she heard a loud howl. She jumped up and ran back to the castle where she would be save. “Of course! I am so stupid! How could I not notice it before!” Lily argued with herself. “It was so obvious! He always gets sickly when the moon is about to get full! He is always away for the full moon! Remus Lupin, by Merlin's beard it’s even in his name! Twice! I am so stupid!” As soon as she stepped back in the castle she shut her mouth, she didn’t fancy getting caught now. She already reached the seventh floor when she heard Mrs Norris, Filch couldn’t be far anymore. She needed to hide but there was nothing she could hide behind and the fat Lady was on the other side of the corridor where Mrs Norris came from. It’s over now, she thought but just then a door appeared out of nowhere. She didn’t think too long and flung herself inside the mysterious room. The moment she let go of the handle, the door disappeared again. She heard Filch outside: “My Dear, did you find someone lurking through the corridors?” The cat miaowed loudly. “Don’t worry my Love, we will find that mischievous marauder. No one is lurking through our corridors after curfew!” Lily listened at the wall. Mr Filch and his cat had truly a strange connection. When Filch's voice and the steady miaowing of the cat got quiet Lily slid to the floor. That was a very close call there she thought. With closed eyes she waited for her breath to smooth out again, when she opened her eyes she could not believe what she had seen. The room in which she was hiding was full of old stuff piling up to mountains. There were some very old looking books, some dried out mimbulus mimbletonia, broken chess pieces and so much more. She walked through the Labyrinth of frown away or hidden things. She also found a large cage with a weird looking skeleton with five legs in it. But there weren’t only ugly and broken things there, no, she also found a very beautiful looking tiara. She thought she recognised it from somewhere, but that would be impossible. No matter where she looked she found something interesting, then very suddenly she saw a very old script and picked it up. An old roman myth was written in it “Remus…”. Even though she knew the story she read through it again. “Oh Remus… How could I be so blind?” She knew she couldn’t help her friend to get rid of lycanthropy but she could stay by his side to keep standing up and to stay positive. She knew even though she was the best in her potions class, she was yet too inexperienced to actually brew him something helpful. But she wanted to help so she decided to show him, no matter what, he had a friend in her.

Trying to change the future

1974

After Professor McGonagall brought Remus back from the future he did not tell his friends what he had seen there. He was terrified of the thought alone. His friends accepted it but they were still worried about him, he has gotten more quiet in the last couple of weeks they had in their third school year. Somedays Sirius tried to get the answers from Professor McGonagall but he received the same answers every time: "I won't say anything about it to you, if Mr Lupin does not wish you to know." James and Peter were curious, too, but they just tried to ask Remus himself about it. Most days Remus just sat in the library studying or just reading novels. The boy's knew better than to disturb him while reading, he didn't like it and gave them the silent treatment for a week if they did so. The only person he didn't mind was Lily, she just sat down quietly next to him or opposite him and read a book herself. 

On the last day of school Lily went to the library to finish the book she started a couple of days ago. She grabbed 》Witch-hunt - still a thing?《 and looked for a free spot when she saw Remus buried behind books. She sat opposite him and started reading. After a little while she heard Remus' quiet voice: "Lily?" She was a little surprised that he even noticed her sitting down behind all his books. "Remus?" He pushed his books carefully aside to look her in the eyes, he gulped. It was the first time Lily noticed that he wasn't actually reading the book he had held up. It was just to cover up the book he was actually reading, but she wouldn't ask him about it. He would have his reasons. "Can I tell you something?" Remus asked Lily as quietly as possible and she nodded. He held up the book he was hiding behind the other. 》What the future holds《 it was titled. She knew where he was going. "Let's go somewhere where we can't be overheard." she said and they packed away their books. 

Lily led the way to the seventh floor. Remus was confused when Lily started walking up and down the empty hall, but then out of nowhere a door appeared and she pulled him inside with her. "What is this for a room?!" Remus was obviously stunned by it. "Well I call it the Room of Requirement, it'll transform itself to all your requirements." Remus looked around the room, it looked like a second library. "Anything?" - "Anything except for food. Try it." Remus tried to think and not a moment later a big sofa appeared in the room. "Wow! How did you find this room?" Remus let himself fall on the sofa and was still astounded by it all. "Long story short, I needed a place to hide and then this door appeared, it was the perfect hiding place. I tried it a couple more times after but every time that I had more than just hiding myself in my head the room would change its appearance. It always knows exactly what you need. But now back to you. You wanted to talk." she said and sat down beside him. 

Lily was shocked what she heard from him, she never would've thought such things would ever happen. "I know it's terrible that's why i tried to find a way to prevent all this from happening. I searched every book in the library about foretellings but none of them said anything about all that." Remus said in hope Lily would know an answer. With a smirk on her face she replied:  "You said every book in the library, but we aren’t in the actual school library at the moment." Not even a second later a book appeared next to them on a little coffeedesk. “I love this room.” Remus said when he picked up the old book. He blew the thick layer of dust of the book to reveal its heading. 》Preventable《 They opened the book carefully not to excitedly destroy its old pages. Years were counted down back from the 16th century up to the 31st century. Some of the dates they recognized (thanks to their history lessons), on other dates they were clueless. “Here 2020, page 598.” said Lily and tried to find the page. The pages were already yellow some even looked burned others were ripped out. “Stop.” said Remus and pointed at the title. 》2020, a horrifying year for Wizards and non magicals alike《 Lily shivered of the thought alone: “Are you sure you wanna do this.” Remus shook his head: “No, but we have to.” 

It took them the whole afternoon to read and understand everything about the year 2020 and how to avoid it all. If Remus wasn’t there himself he wouldn’t have believed a single word, it was just a lot to take in. Lily seemed to be a bit overwhelmed but after some time she decided: “We can’t do this alone, we need help. This spell is way too powerful for just us two. I’ll ask Marlene, Dorcas and Alice to join us, you should ask the boy’s. We can explain it to them when we are all back together so we don’t have to tell the story a million times. Most important, I think, we need to ask Professor McGonagal to help us, maybe she can convince Dumbledor, too. The more we are the better.” Remus agreed with her and they split up to search for their friends. They met in the Room of Requirement to explain everything, but before they could do that Lily had to tell (once again) how she had found this room. They were all shocked about what they had heard and were all quickly convinced to help. “So who is going to ask McGonagall?” asked Peter and Alice answered him “Well I thought we would all go together. It would be more persuasive.” With a light blush on his face Frank agreed with her at once then the others nodded, too. Some students laughed at them when the group of nine pupils ran past them in the corridors to find Professor McGonagal. When they finally found her sitting behind her desk, she looked very surprised by so many students walking into her office. After Remus caught his breath again he started to tell her about their plans to change the future of 2020. “I think if we want to succeed with this very powerful spell, we will need the help of no other than Albus Dumbledor himself. BUT today it is really late I want you all to have some dinner and some good sleep before we can get started with this. Tomorrow AFTER breakfast I want you all to get the ingredients together and I will tell Professor Slughorn to give you all you need. So we can start with the potion at 10 a.m. and be finished before the train comes for London. And NOW off you go!”

A Timeturner in the hands of the Marauders

1973-74

The third school year began and the four friends were suspicious what subjects they each chose for this year. James and Sirius chose Care of Magical Creatures and Study of Ancient Runes. Peter took Care of Magical Creatures as well and his second choice was Muggle Studies. “Which subjects did you choose, Rem?”, Sirius asked Remus when they all got their timetables. The tall boy blushed and just passed his timetable to his friends. They looked at it in shock. It was a whole lot fuller than their own. “There must be a mistake. How are you supposed to be in two lessons at once?” they asked and Remus just replied: “Don’t be silly, I can’t be in two places at once.” 

Over the school year Remus' friends tried to figure out his secret, he never missed a lesson, not even one. It was not until Easter that they finally found out. James asked Lily Evans (James crush) if she would have seen him, as he knew that she and Remus were close friends. Most of the time they finished their homework together, as they both had chosen to take every single subject. Before James could start flirting with her she told them where to go. Sirius took James by the arm and dragged him away from Lily with a thanking and apologetic smile to her. They found him asleep in the library, with his head on his homework. Remus was lucky they found him before Madam Pince did, she would have been furious.

After they woke him up gently they went back to their dormitories (Sirius carried Remus books). “Before you fall asleep again you have to tell us how you get to all of your classes, Rem.” Sirius persuaded him while he put the books on the table. Weirdly enough Remus was more talkative when he was about to fall asleep then when he is fully awake. “You must not tell Lily that I told you. Promise?” They all promised and Remus continued: “Lily and I get to all our classes with this time turner.” He pulled a tiny golden hourglass out of his pocket. The boy’s stared at it for a moment then Peter asked: “What can you do with that?” Peters squeaky voice brought Remus back to his senses. “I should not have told you about it, Lily will kill me.” He slipped the hourglass back in his pocket. “I should not have…” he still murmured when he turned away to go to sleep.

The next morning when Sirius, James and Peter woke up Remus was already gone. They weren’t worried Remus had a class before them on Wednesdays, but they started worrying after breakfast. Usually they would meet Remus on the way to Care of Magical Creatures but he was nowhere to be seen. Another very unusual thing happened just then, Lily Evans walked up to them and asked if they had seen Remus. “I thought you two had all lessons together, he should be with you.” Sirius sounded worried but before either of them could explain the lesson began. None of them could concentrate very much on today's class, they were all too concerned about Remus. After class they had a break and Lily came up to the boy’s once more: “I think I should tell you guys something.” They looked at her waiting for her to continue. “Cou… Could we just go somewhere more quiet, please? I don’t want us to be overheard.” The boy’s nodded and led the way to a big tree by the black lake. “Muffliato. Just in case.” murmured James before they all sat down to the ground. The rest of the school was inside now for lunch in the great hall. “Well, Remus and I choose to take all subjects as you probably already know.” She waited a second and continued after they nodded knowingly. “Some of our classes overlap just like our first two lessons this morning before Care of Magical Creatures. I bet you guy’s wonder how we managed to get to all our classes all year long?” She wanted to make a dramatic pause but Peter interrupted: “We know you use time turners, James just explained to me this morning what they can do.” James and Sirius jumped on him to hold his mouth shut before he could reveal even more. However, it was too late for that, Lily’s face went red with madness: “He told you didn’t he?! Oh - If we ever find Remus again, I am going to kill him! Professor McGonagall made us swear not to tell anyone!” Before she could run off James sprinted after her and grabbed her by the wrist: “That still doesn’t explain where he is now, or better when he is now?” Lily calmed down quicker than any of them could have hoped for, she was seriously concerned about Remus wellbeing. Her voice dropped almost to a whisper: “I thought he would’ve just jupped a hour forward, but he is still not here. I need to tell McGonagall, she will know what to do.” James still held on to her wrist, his voice now so low only she could hear him: “You can’t tell her. You and Remus would get in so much trouble, we have to find him on our own. What exactly did he do?” Lily looked up to him, her eyes filled with tears. Sirius and Peter catched up to them, she looked at them: “I am so sorry. I didn’t know.” She looked back to James, her wrist still fixed in his hand. “We turned at the same time, two times, but he turned the other way. Professor McGonagall told us to never turn it clockwise. I didn’t know it would be this bad.” Tears were rolling down her face now, she wiped them off quickly with her free hand. “What happens when you turn it clockwise?” Peter asked. “You jump forward in time.” It seemed like an obvious answer, but their problem was when was Remus and how to get him back? After some time of thinking Lily agreed to search the library for answers while the boys were looking for their friend in the castle, in case he really just jumped a couple hours forward and were hiding somewhere. No matter where they looked they couldn’t find him before the next lesson started. “Any luck, Evens?” James asked Lily when she came over to their table in their potion lesson. “No, but I guess you hadn’t either. We have to be quicker before the teachers start to worry. I have the bad feeling that we won’t find him today.” After a double lesson potion they were finally free for the day to look for Remus. This time they all searched the library and found after hours the right book. They were very lucky it wasn’t a book of the restricted section. ‘Time turners and How to use them’ was written in golden letters on the white covered book. “How did I not see this earlier?!” Lily scolded herself. “Never mind that now, lets see what we got.” Sirius wrenched the book out of her hands and opened the book. He went quickly through some pages then pointed on something that looked more like a math problem than anything else. “Counter clockwise: One turn equals half an hour back in time, two turns equals one hour back in time, etc., etc… Clockwise! Clockwise: One turn equals 23 years forward in time, two turns equals 46 years forward in time!” Sirius read aloud and just got shushed by Madam Pince twice. “He is 46 years in the future? That's 2020.” Sirius continued whispering. “That doesn’t even sound like a real number.” whispered Peter for which he got a little hit on the head by Sirius. “Are you stupid or what? It’s easy math 1974 + 46 = 2020 meaning we can get to him with two turns and we can come back together with… wait a second… for a day back we need 48 turns, so a year needs 17.5020 and that 46 times would be 805.920 turns” Sirius gulped. “Wait guy’s look at this ‘The more turners one got the faster the traveller.’ Together Remus and I got two turners. We can make it back in just half the time, but this still would take way too long. We don’t have a choice we have to tell Professor McGonagall.” - “Tell me what, my dear?” McGonagall stood right before them. They went back to her office to tell her everything. Well actually it was Lily alone who told her everything, the boys just stood behind her and nodded when needed. “Well, well, well you got yourselves into a lot of trouble, especially Mister Lupin.” Her mouth was as thin as paper but then she smiled at them. “It was wise of you to tell me and don’t worry we will get your friend back. He turned it twice, you said?” Lily nodded at her almost in disbelief. “Now there are still consequences for you, Miss Evans you have sworn to me not to tell anyone..” - “But Professor…”- “I know you had to tell them, Mister Black, Mister Potter and Mister Pettigrew deserved to know where their friend had gone or better when. However, you should have come straight to me, poor Mister Lupin wandering around Hogwarts in 2020. Who knows what he had to go through. I will get him back but I am sorry to tell you, both of you have to give back their time turners. It’s way too dangerous. I am afraid both of you have to quit some of your lessons to shorten both of your timetables. Before I forget - “ she looked at the boys now “ You will all have detention for trying to go forward in time, this isn’t just highly dangerous but also illegal. I’ll send you all an owl when I’ve decided on your punishment.” Lily gave her time turner back to McGonagall and thanking her before she followed the boys out of her office. 

2020

“Hello? Is someone here?” Remus was very confused, the castle looked nothing like before and no one was in the corridors. Perhaps they all had classes, he thought. However, every classroom he looked into was empty with a thick layer of dust on every surface. Even the library changed, there were only a few books left and it looked as if the empty shelves were once broken or even burned and just fixed with a lazy reparo charm. Remus did not know what had happened; it did not look like Hogwarts anymore. He cempt through the castle just to find another living soul or a ghost, he didn’t care anymore. He needed someone or something to talk to. Just then he remembered: “The paintings! The fat lady! She must know what's going on.” He ran through deserted corridors, no pupils, no teachers, no poltergeist, no ghosts and no paintings to be found. He was on the seventh floor by now but the fat lady was nowhere to be seen nor heard. Remus was all alone in the big castle that seemed so unfamiliar to him. Hours over hours he tried to find someone, there were not even elves in the kitchen. He almost gave up when he finally remembered Hagrid. “He must be here, he lives here.” Remus' hope rose again, he stood back up to his feet running outside. Hagrid's hut looked nothing like he remembered but he didn’t care; he just needed to see someone to talk to. He knocked hard on the door. A tall figure opened the door, his hair and beard covered most of his face. Remus froze when he saw the crossbow in the half giants hands. “Who are you?! What do you want from me?!”, the hairy man shouted not letting go of his weapon. Remus trembled: “It’s me, Remus Lupin. Hagrid, it’s me, Remus.” Hagrid looked at him for a moment before he let his crossbow down and let him in. “How is this possible, you look so young.” - “I don’t really know, you look much older now. Well you might remember I got a time turner at the beginning of the school year. I turned it clockwise, I wanted to skip a lesson. I know I normally don’t do such things but I was really done. I just wanted some time for myself. I thought I would only jump an hour or so but now I don’t even know when I am.” It was just then, someone knocked on the door. “I haven’t had this many visitors in months.” Hagrid opened the door: “McGonagall! You look so young! I bet you are here to bring Remus back.” Professor McGonagall stepped inside the hut: “Mister Lupin how good to see you’re well. But before we two can go back my time turner has to recharge again and I have to confiscate yours, Mister Lupin. For the time being, Hagrid, please tell us what in Merlin's name happened here. Why aren’t there any students?” Hagrid poured them all a big cup of tea before he started: “Well you know Professor 2020 has been a very tough year so far.”

Remus: I have a problem and I don’t know how to get rid of it!

Lily: What is it?

Remus: I think I am in love and I don’t like it. It’s way to distracting.

Lily: Oh, Remus. Love is nothing bad, but if this is really troubling you...

Sirius: *Just walked in the room* Who is troubling you, Moony?

Remus: *quietly to Lily* I’m leaving, my problem just walked in.

Sirius: If you had 10 chocolate frogs and you give 2 to a friend. How many do you got left?

Remus: 10

Sirius: OK. You have 10 chocolate frogs and a friend forcibly takes 2. How many do you got left?

Remus: 10 and a dead friend

Sirius: *getting a bit nervous* You have 10 chocolate frogs and a friend takes 2. BY ACCIDENTS! How many do you got left?

Remus: *starting to count his chocolate frogs*

James: Sirius. Run.

(The Pizza boy part 2)

Wolfstar AU 

Remus Lupin lived together with his best friend Lily Evans in Oxford. They couldn't afford the apartment if they wouldn't share the rent. It was way too expensive for them to live alone. Remus and Lily have known each other for, well forever, they were neighbours in a little village in Wales. As they were both very intelligent at a young age, they got along with each other very well. Remus knew he could trust her with everything so the first thing he did this morning was to speak with her. 

He told her about what had happened the night before when a stranger (in about their age) came into the gay bar down town. Lily couldn't believe what he had told her, Remus was single for quite some time now and those news were just great. “That's brilliant Moony! What does he look like?” She was over the moon but Remus thought differently. “I don’t know, he had long black hair and he played the piano. But ‘Love at first sight’ is a bit stupid, don’t you think? I mean I only just met him but he talked the whole time just about me, that was really awkward.” They were silent for a moment then Lily remembered something and ran quickly to her room. When she came back Remus had two coffee’s ready for them and Lily had her Laptop with her. “You said his name was Sirius? I just remembered there is a Sirius in my Maths class.” She turned her Laptop around to show him a picture of the handsome man from the pub. “That's him, how did you find him?” She looked at him in disbelief: “This is Sirius Black.” Remus still had a questioning look on him. “Are you serious? He is the son of Orion and Walburga Black! The Black Family Company! Doesn’t there ring a bell?” Remus eyes widened. “That can’t be it.” He couldn't believe a rich boy like Sirius freaking Black actually talked to him and he couldn’t believe a rich guy like him would have to study.

However, after he had found out that they were studying in the same university it seemed like Remus would see him everywhere. They both actually had a class together, weird that he hadn’t noticed this before, but it looked like Sirius hadn’t so far either. 

It was about a week later that Remus had to work the same day as Sirius ordered, once more, a Pizza. Remus noticed that it was the same Pizza as the last time but the only difference was that he had ordered extra salad. Remus had a funny feeling but he couldn’t describe it. It was like his heart had skipped a beat when Sirius opened the door. He looked even more handsome with his hair up in a bun. Before either of them could say anything another man walked up behind Sirius. “You know, if you would just cook something you wouldn't have to eat such unhealthy food.” Remus didn’t know who this other man was but he could sense there was a kind of bond between the black haired men. “Oh shut up Reg and take your salad.” Sirius sounded a bit annoyed then, after ‘Reg’ took his salad and went back inside the apartment Sirius turned back to Remus: “If I had known that you would be my Pizza boy tonight I would have ordered another Pizza for you to join us.” Remus blushed and mumbled: “I don’t think your boyfriend would have liked that.” To Remus' surprise Sirius started to laugh: “You are funny, Regulus is my brother.” If Remus' head would go any redder his it would explode. Sirius tried to change the subject: “I think I’ve seen you in art class, care to hang out sometimes?” This question however did not help Remus. He couldn't get out another word so he shoved the Pizza in Sirius' arms, nodded and ran back downstairs. On his short ride back to work it appeared to him that he wasn’t able to concentrate on anything else then Sirius freaking Black.

“I told you so.” said Lily the next morning with a singsong voice. “It’s not ‘Love of first sight’, Lil’s.” She still danced  around the kitchen to ‘Accidentally in Love’ echoing out of the radio. “No, but you like him and you're going out with him.” Remus rolled his eyes: “We don’t ‘go out’, we just hang out between classes.”  Lily stopped dancing for a moment and said: “Call it whatever you want but I tell you now, you won’t be single much longer.” With that she moved around the kitchen again dragging him with her to dance.

They ‘hung out’ a couple of times now, they even met each other's friends and as Lily predicted they were an official couple now. They meet up together once a week with all their friends to have dinner in a pub. Remus came with Lily and Lily with her two besties Dorcas and Marlene sometimes Alice was with them, too. Sirius came along with James and Peter and if they knew beforehand that Alice was coming they took Frank with them, too, Frank fancied Alice. They always had quite some fun when they all went out together. Most of the time James ended up going back home with Lily so Remus hadn’t had a choice then going  with Sirius (well he would have gone with him anyway). When Frank and Alice where with them, they sometimes, ok most of the time, needed a little pusch to go back home together, Frank was a rather shy gentleman. Finally Dorcas and Marlene went home together but as a matter of fact they lived together as a couple anyway.
