Reblogging this because I just finished season 2 (finally!) and I have so many goddamn feelings for this pairing. Rav grabbing her hand and pulling her off the roof nearly made me scream.
And now once more to search fruitlessly for fic to slake my thirst.
All I want in life is some Marcella/Rav angst with a mostly happy ending.
#I just want them to fall in love and be happy#and also for Jason to die horribly#and for someone to be like 'you know kids your mum has been through a lot of shit#and a lot of it is your father's gaslighting-ass fault#so just cut your mother some slack and don't be such assholes'#so that they can just live happily ever after in Marcella's RIDICULOUSLY beautiful house and solve non-horrible mysteries#that's what I want for her#all the good things#itv marcella#marcella#Marcella backland#rav sangha#Marcella backland/rav sangha

Lady Talbot (exh.1782). Sir Joshua Reynolds (English, 1723-1792). Oil on canvas. Tate.
Dressed in a robe inspired by Grecian dress, the sitter is shown pouring oil onto burning coals in a sacrificial tribute to the Roman goddess Minerva, associated with wisdom and the arts. The richly textured painted surface and striking colour scheme recall the work of the Venetian Renaissance painter Titian. Reynolds wanted his portraits to be esteemed as a form of painting as artistically ambitious as the work of such universally admired masters. It was exhibited at the Royal Academy’s annual exhibition in 1782.
#ars#I actually saw this when I was in london#apparently they did a massive restoration on it a few years ago because ithe paint had cracked and it had turned black in places#britannia#georgian

The Color of Pomegranates (1969) dir. by Sergei Parajanov
#the colour of pomegranates#this is such a great movie#but so weird#apparently during the making of the movie parajanov was loaned a bunch of antiquesuse as props and set dressing by the government#but he would just give things to people as gifts#and then someone would have to take the person aside and be like 'no he can't actually give that to you'#cinema#rossiya#armenia#soviet
