I love Woody Harrelson! He can be funny, serious, and scary! He is amazing! Although he plays a supporting role in this film, he is still awesome!
Mary Elizabeth Winstead is incredibly strong in this role. She is convincing as an assassin. Thank god for the writers creating strong roles for women. I love the intelligence, strength, and determination of the character. I love the emotional struggle and her vulnerability.
A twist at the end….amazing job! Woody Harrelson pulls off another great role!

I See You
OMG! I love Helen Hunt! I fell in love with her when she starred in Mad About You! Then she starred in As Good As It Gets. She is phenomenal. This movie has so many twists and turns. When you think you understand what is going on, hold on to your seats. I didn’t see the twist at the end.
I loved this movie! You need to pay attention throughout the movie! You might miss something. Great thriller! Happy watching!

Debbie Allen
What an amazing woman! Her speech at the Emmys was amazing and awe inspiring. I fell even more in love with her character (as a person) when she offered on Instagram dance classes during the pandemic.
I love dancing and moving. I have never been great at it, but on this day, I took her class. I felt amazing after the class was finished. She is so inspiring. After her class I felt like I could dance. LOL
People have always said she is humble. Her gratitude for those of us showing up in Instagram Live was genuine. Being in her presence was something I could bask in everyday. Thank you for being such an awe inspiring, humble, caring woman! Thank you for being a role model and lifting up others!

A Vigilante
This movie could be triggering for some, since it deals with domestic abuse. Fortunately, the film maker didn’t show the actual abuse, but it was no less traumatic. There was a lot of show the after effects; swollen faces, broken bones, blood, tears, and snot.
This script was well written and believable for what many deal with in abusive situations. Many people are attacked or even killed trying to leave the situation. This movie really did justice showcasing the struggles people have trying to escape.
I felt certain Olivia Wilde would become strong, retaliate, and exact her revenge. At one point, I thought she would overcome her ex; however, NOT!!! I was frustrated and didn’t understand the direction the story was going.
Fortunately, the writer redeemed themselves, because my hero kicked ass.

What a concept? A woman that is born with urges of a violent nature, spends years trying to assimilate and become a functioning part of society. The twist….Kate Beckinsale finds something to help her assimilate, but that is taken away. Now she is pissed and wants answers to why? I loved the action. I loved her no nonsense way of dealing with getting answers. I love the fact they set it up for a possible sequel. Wahoo!
Kate brings this character to life and makes her believable. I truly hope the sequel will be just as strong. I’m looking forward to seeing Susan Sarandon’s role in the sequel.

Val (documentary about Val Kilmer)
Have I mentioned I love movies? Have I mentioned I will watch certain actors no matter the movie, show or project they are involved with?
Val Kilmer has been one of my favorite actors. I fell in love with Val in Real Genius. I loved his quirky, confident and courageous character. Of course, Willow is a another great! However, many people found s rising star in Top Gun.
I began following Val and fell even more in love with his commitment to his craft. He is an exceptional actor.
Today, I was blessed enough to see his documentary. I love the fact he has so much documentation, video logs, pictures, etc from his life. What an incredible life he has had!!!
I am so grateful to have seen this and for his thoughtfulness to put it together.

The Tomorrow War
Have you ever had a movie you were looking forward to seeing? Maybe it is because the story line interests you. Maybe it is because you like the actor associated with the film. I was really looking forward to The Tomorrow War. I was so excited about the idea of time travel, butterfly effect, and kicking ass.
Chris Pratt! He always delivers. He is convincing as a father, soldier and husband.
I liked the premise of traveling to the past to tell of an incoming invasion. I liked the fact we could change the future and save our planet from the invasion.
Sadly, trying to save our future children instead of traveling back in time to create a weapon to deal with the invasion which would actually save your future child. AHHHH!
At the same time, we have a government who has been told of the invasion, but refuse to listen to said travelers to the future and have a way to stop the invasion. WHY???
By the end of the movie, I was grateful they had saved the world and the future. Okay!?!?
I was disappointed to say the least!

Dhar Mann a Daily Inspiration
Dear Dhar,
Approximately a year ago, I found you on my Facebook page. You created these little videos which touched my heart. I began following you and loving the little stories you shared. At some point, you provided a number for me to join your community. I jumped on this immediately.
This is when our relationship deepened. I found myself waiting patiently for my daily text. This last year has been a challenge for many due to COVID-19. I found sometimes struggling to just to stay positive.
As I prayed daily to stay positive and reduce my anxiety, your messages would come. They were very specific and answered my daily prayer. They lifted me and spoke to me.
I love how God is using you to speak to others. How you send the correct message needed daily, answering prayers and lifting spirits.
The little thing of sending a text to your community may seem small to you, but it is very meaningful to others.
May you continue to be blessed in all that you do.

Bryce Harper, Didi Gregorius, and Andrew McCutchen
Get your hotdogs, peanuts, cracker jacks, here!
The sounds of Baseball….America’s game! It is America’s favorite pass-time!
The smell of freshly cut grass, the bright white of the chalkline on the baseline, the thump of the ball hitting the glove. God I love baseball!
The next morning I learn Bryce Harper was hit in the face with a 97 mph fastball, thrown by Genesis Cabrera. A ball player being hit by a wild pitch, is power for the course. It is something to be expected when playing this game.
I am grateful Bryce was not seriously injured.
What shocked me was when Genesis Cabrera threw a pitch at Didi Gregorius. WHAT??? He gets hit in the ribs! Omg! I couldn’t believe another pitch got away from him.
What had me thinking though was about Andrew McCutchen. He is standing on deck. His coach has been thrown out of the game, warnings have been given to both teams, a pinch runner is on second and Gregorius on first. McCutchen has to step into the batters-box because MLB has rule where the pitcher must face three batters or complete an inning before being removed from the game.
Can you imagine the amount of pressure, nerves and courage it took for McCutchen to stand in that box? He just watched two of his teammates get hit and doesn’t know if he will be next. He doesn’t know if his teammate is going to be okay. He has to push all of these feelings aside and do his job, which is hit the ball.
At the same time, can you imagine how Cabrera is feeling. He has just hit two players, possibly causing severe damage. He now has to face the third batter. I can’t imagine the nerves, stress and fear he is facing during this moment.
In the end, McCutchen faced his dragon (Cabrera) and got a hit! Bryce was going to be okay. Gregorius was going to be okay as well. I know they both will have bruises but these will heal.
I truly hope they all can push through the bad memories and when they have to face each other again it will end on a better note.

Queen Elizabeth
As a little girl, I had an old record player. the player came with children's books. I learned at a very young age to place the needle on the record and follow along reading the fairy tale before me.
As a little girl, I dreamed of being a princess and ultimately finding my prince charming. I think in reality all little girls dream of becoming a princess. You actually were and then became a queen. Wow!
You are living the dream. You are living the fairy tale we have grown up reading about. You found your prince charming. You have lived a life many of us find blessed.
I have to admit, I have been obsessed with the royal family. I have read many books, watched several documentaries, fictional movies, and biographies, to learn everything about royalty. I have been able to trace ancestry to complete my education on royalty around the world.
Through my studies, I have learned you have a lot of responsibility with your title. You have seen a lot in your lifetime. You have had to deal with loss, both personal and nationally. You have dealt with these things with the public watching.
As a wife, my heart is breaking for you. I love my husband deeply and I can't imagine living without him. He is my best friend and we talk daily. I know your loss is great, I know your heart is hurting and I know you grieve privately.
I am truly sorry for your loss. My heart aches for you and I pray for you personally. Not as a queen who is charge of a country, but as a woman. As a mother, a grandmother, and a wife. I pray the memories you have will slowly fill your heart with joy in remembrance of your Prince Charming.
Sending you nothing but positive thoughts, prayers and love during this difficult time.

DNice
Dear Derrick aka DNice,
A year ago, our world changed dramatically. We went into lockdown and people were forced to stay home. People were isolated. Children were learning to navigate virtual learning. Some people lost their jobs and others were having to learn to work virtually. Everything we knew had changed overnight.
As we were trying to stay connected and uplifted, public figures learned to use their social media in a different way. This is where you came into my life. I honestly didn’t know anything about you. I stumbled upon you.
Up until this point, I had taken a dance class with the wonderful Debbie Allen. I’m not a great dancer, but boy did I have fun learning from one of the best. I was working out with Twitch and his beautiful wife Allison. I was enjoy a glass of wine with Kate Hudson. I was finding a way to stay connected even though I was isolate, but my world change upon finding you.
Club Quarantine became my nightly pleasure. I couldn’t wait for the party to start. I have been dancing in my living room with some of the best; Stephanie Mills, Halle Berry, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg and Donnie Wahlberg. Of course, there are many more who are there nightly.
I showed up the first time and loved the vibe. I loved the comments scrolling at the bottom. I loved your way to create a party across the internet. I have loved your support of other DJ’s and showcasing them.
Since participating in Club Quarantine, I have been praying for your ultimate success. I pray for your family, your new home and your continued to success. Just this last week, I have seen your Ford commercial. I was so happy for you and this opportunity. Your spirit is beautiful and the free gift of DJing for the world in an attempt to heal people has been glorious.
I love how the world is noticing your impact to make the world a better place and provide a positive atmosphere for those who are isolated or alone. Your love of music comes through the screen and is infectious.
Thank you for Club Quarantine! Thank you for giving me a place to dance, laugh and vibe. Thank you for making the world a better place.
As you often say, “Let it breathe!”
Make it a great day

Chadwick Boseman
Dear Taylor Simone Ledward,
I am sure you have received many condolences. I am sure some of these are heartfelt and some are just cliche. When you are in the midst of your heartfelt pain, some of these comments can inflict further hurt and sadness. My letter to you I hope will bring you some joy, some healing, and put a smile on your face.
As an ex-teacher of elementary school children, I had the pleasure of watching their excitement over the movie Black Panther. I loved watching them pretend to be just like the character your husband, Chadwick, embodied.
As a little girl, I loved Disney movies and dreamed of being a princess; however, the reality for me, was all princess’ had to have blond hair. I have brown hair and classmates would remind me I could be a princess. This was heartbreaking and defeating. I’m mean really what does it take to be a princess?
All of the princess’ I watched, were kind, compassionate, seeking justice, and fairness. I held and hold these character traits, so why couldn’t I be a princess? I realize the importance of having a role model and when the Blank Panther came out it was a breath of fresh air. Children had a role model they could identify with and this blessed my heart.
I know you know how important this role was for your husband, Chadwick. I don’t need to tell you this again. I truly hope when you think of him playing this role, I hope it puts a smile on your face.
What I hope you will cherish and hold dear to your heart is the moment when children were asked who Chadwick Boseman was? This moment brought tears to my eyes. Every child was able to identify him as the Blank Panther.
Why is this important? As an ex-teacher, I always wanted to impact children in a positive way. I wanted them to remember my contribution to their life. In short...I wanted to leave a legacy.
Did Chadwick leave a legacy? YES!
Chadwick left the type of legacy I can only hope I have left on the lives I have touched. I am very glad I have been blessed by his performances in iconic roles such as, 42, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, 21 Bridges, and Marshall to name a few.
I know he was a man playing a role; however, through each of these performances, I feel like I saw his true character underneath. Character traits such as, honesty, compassionate, brave, hard-working, committed, and humble.
Your life has been changed forever with your loss. I truly hope your pain will be reduced overtime and when you watch one of his performances, think, ponder, or remember your love, Chadwick, you will be filled with an overwhelming joy. Joy that you were blessed to know the man on a personal level and more importantly you were loved by that man.
God bless!

Welcome
Dear Reader,
First and foremost, thank you for reading my letter. I truly hope you will enjoy my letters.
I’m a pretty simple person. I believe in putting “Good” out into the world. I believe in spreading positivity. I am empathetic and sympathetic. I try to place myself in another person’s shoes in order to have a better understanding of the world around me.
Over the years, I have found myself wanting to connect with people who have touched my heart. I have found myself writing to these people, knowing they most likely would never see it or read it.
After watching a story about Elisa Lam, I realized there was another platform where I could share my thoughts. Of course, I know the person I write to may never respond. They may never see my words of support, encouragement, or respect, but I feel this is a place to start.
Once again, “Thank You” for reading my letters. I hope you enjoy and find them inspirational.
Make it a great day!
