Its not even in the show but i‘ve been thinking so much about a North and Kenta friendship that it means the world to me.
They are opposites in a way but I think they could work so well!
North loves so loudly and openly without ever actually saying it.
Kenta doesn‘t think he needs it, or deserves it even.
But together? North would pull Kenta in, making sure he feels included. Wants to shower him in his unconditional love.
On the other hand Kenta could show North how to be more straightforward with what he wants, taking what he needs.
They‘d both learn how to rely on others, that they both have someone else to lean on too.
Especially before North finally got his kiss, he probably could have needed someone like that, who understands him as well.
And North could be there for Kenta all the same, figuring out his feelings about Pete and Kim.
Most importantly though, if he feels safe enough, I could see Kenta being quite silly.
Hes just not really given the space for it
Yet👀

the thing about pit babe is that everything always happens so fast. the relationships and the plot and the cars and the sex and the love - everything's always frantic and passionate and fast. it's been that way since the very first episode, and it's maintained that pace pretty much the entire time up until now.
and yet. northsonic's first kiss is so slow. slower than pretty much anything else in this show so far. it's practically crawling. and they let it linger - both the kiss and the scene. they don't rush off somewhere, pulling the audience into some other whirlwind. they hold you there, make you pause and sit in that quiet with them. because no one speaks, no one's in a rush to do something or get somewhere. they barely even move. and that forces you to really take it all in: how there's so much tension in north's hands where he touches sonic, giving away just how nervous he is, how uncertain, how much it means - but how he's still so gentle with him. how sonic makes this soft little gasping sound when north first kisses him, and how his brow sinks and his mouth curls as it comes to an end, almost as if he's about to start crying again (because he's relieved? scared? overwhelmed? simply doesn't want it to be over so quickly after all this time waiting?). how, when the kiss is over, they stay right there in each other's space, mouths so close like pulling away from each other is the most frightening thing they'll ever have to do. how you can hear every sharp, shaky breath. how they look at each other like they want each other so much their hearts are broking just trying to fit it all inside. how they kiss again, surer this time, but no less gentle, no less scared. how you can still hear every sharp, shaky breath. how sonic rests his face against north's afterwards, like he's exhausted, so tired of running and pretending he's fine and that he doesn't care, of having to get through life without his favourite person, his other half, but like he can finally let himself relax now because it's over. how, without even looking north, gives him this sad little smile, like he knows.
the show goes barrelling forward after, because of course it must, but that scene was handled with so much care and given so much room to breathe and allowed to just. exist. unhurried. to be allowed to play out how it had to, no matter how long it took. and it was so perfect. and i for one will literally never be over it for as long as i live thanks.

Ep 9 is specifically attacking me with Kenta

Just. Yeah.

Too bad for Tony that Kim is a foster failure and Kenta literally and figuratively eats out of his new owner's hands.

He's so hot when his hair is mussed like that, unaffected by Winner's wimpy little slaps. He should get tortured more.

That little side glance where he's probably wondering if Tony means Kim or someone else aaaaaaaaagh

Just in case you forgot

since you can't spell pit babe without pain (at least in some language) HEAR ME OUT
the confrontation that happens when kim wants to know why - after everything that happened between them - it was pete who kenta texted to give signs of life and updates on whatever he discovered. because, to be perfectly honest, kim is hurt. he thought they were getting somewhere or, at the very least, kenta would have the basic courtesy to inform him he was fine after pulling a stunt like that but no.
so i need kim to look at kenta with a little bit of despair in his eyes and ask “you still don’t trust me?” kenta looks away and answers, “it's not that.”
and maybe kim scoffs as his temper flares and goes “then what? are you that desperate to get him to notice you?” and maybe he's feeling extra spiteful and adds on, “because he didn't. the only thing he cared about was the information he might get out of you.”
kenta finally meets kim’s eyes and quietly answers, “i know. which is why i picked him and not you.”
because kim cares. because kenta knows if he wrote kim, kim would have been in a car, driving to him in the next 30 seconds, mission be damned. because kim is warm and safe and the way he makes kenta’s chest squeeze had no place in that lab. because kenta needed to be cold and focused to survive and kim would have been a distraction.

KimKenta's First Kiss
There's a lot that's already been said about this scene that I don't feel the need to rehash, but I do want to add my two cents to a conversation I keep seeing about whether Kim is strong enough to overpower Kenta, or whether Kenta gave in. Because my answer is "both things are true why are we even having this conversation."
I think it’s important to note that while yes, Kenta was not lashing out at Kim with the intent to injure him during their fight, it’s not because he’s necessarily stronger than Kim. Kim has continually been portrayed as stronger than he looks, and he’s enough of a fighter that he could hurt Kenta if he wanted to.
But also, it's not even that Kenta isn't trying to hurt Kim, it's that he's not attacking Kim at all—he’s trying to push Kim away. And Kim won’t let him.
Instead, he immediately deflects Kenta’s second shove, getting his wrists in between Kenta’s hands to push them out of the way—he’s a fighter, he knows defensive techniques—and then he grabs onto Kenta and refuses to let go.
Time after time this season, Kim refuses to let Kenta isolate himself. He doesn't let Kenta run off by himself to see Pete, he rescues him when he does go off alone, and here, when Kenta tries to physically push him away, Kim immediately disarms that attempt.
It's why the moment when Kenta tells Kim to trust him in Tony's lair is so pivotal. Because Kim has spent this entire season trying to stay by Kenta's side, and Kenta finally gets him to let go by playing on Kim's desire to establish trust between them. Because part of that trust means giving Kenta the right to choose, even when it kills Kim inside. Because Kim may be assertive and domineering, but that doesn't mean he wants to control Kenta.
Tony would have demanded Kenta sacrifice himself. Pete demanded Kenta not go at all. Kim knows he has to let Kenta make this choice. And Kenta knows he can insist because it's not the first important choice Kim has given him that day either.
When they finally kiss, Kenta immediately goes still, he stops fighting—and Kim does the same. Kim stops fighting too, he stops pushing, he holds himself right there. He lets Kenta read his intentions without taking anything from Kenta. He doesn’t deepen the kiss when he could, even when his mouth is twitching against Kenta’s, when he wants to do more. Kenta submits, and Kim does not take advantage of that, and that is so important. He lets his grip up, he caresses Kenta's hands, he gives Kenta the space to reject him.
Kenta's submission in this moment is meaningful, but not because Kim is weaker than him and Kenta could easily throw him off—it's because Kim gives him the choice to push him away. And Kenta stays there until Kim ends the kiss, he doesn't pull away until after Kim asks him to consider his feelings.
Kim isn’t strong because Kenta lets him be strong—he’s strong because he is strong, both in his body and in his will, but that doesn't take away from the fact that Kenta gives in to him.
I’ve said this before, but KimKenta are so complimentary to each other, and it’s really important to understand how the concept of balance plays into their dynamic, both in their physicality and in their personalities. Both of them are strong. Both of them are stubborn. Both of them are falling for each other. Kim has a domineering personality, but that doesn’t mean he's controlling, and while Kenta may often submit to others, he’s not going to be a puppet anymore—and this is part of what makes them so good with each other.

Chapters: 1/1 Fandom: พิษเบ๊บ | Pit Babe (TV) Rating: General Audiences Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply Relationships: North/Sonic (Pit Babe), Dean & North (Pit Babe) Characters: North (Pit Babe), Sonic (Pit Babe) Summary:
he tells the others it’s quality-of-life stuff. and it is, kind of. but deep down, the part of him knows exactly what he’s doing. knows why the colors don’t quite go together, why the cushions are too bright, why the art on the wall doesn’t match the frame. knows how deliberate the clash is — loud and messy in a way only one person would’ve understood.
this is him reaching, the only way he knows how.
if you see this, will you come back?

I just rewatched "This Love Doesn‘t Have Long Beans“ and im having NorthSonic thoughts about it…
After everything that happened…
Sonic back in France, maybe becoming a successful designer
North opening a little café
And Sonic eventually coming back, unaware
He happens to stumble across a welcome sign, the delicious looking treats in the window luring him in
And suddenly North is in front of him
he didn‘t think he would ever see him again, that down the line North would continue to be his biggest regret, his "what could have been"
Maybe then they finally get their second chance

I had to after last episode 🫡
Constructive feedback is always appreciated :D
Summary:
North breaks down after he talked to Dean at the bar. He doesn't know what to do anymore, and even though Dean told him to just talk to Sonic he doesn't feel like it's wanted. Alan helps. So does Jeff. Maybe he doesn't have to try and read Sonic's mind after all.

North being afraid of ruining Sonic's future by confessing to him is going to ruin me. Because he loves Sonic so much and he's been watching how he acts and what he says and he's slowly convinced himself that he's not good enough for Sonic, that he is less than Sonic, this chaotic duo that used to complete each other has left North feeling like he's too little for Sonic and Sonic, apparently, waiting for something that he's said he given up on and wants to leave behind.
Sonic says North is indecisive but Sonic's the one who said he was going to move on and that they had different dreams and the problem is that North, in trying to find his place again at Sonic's side, is doing exactly what Sonic accused him of doing... but it's being done specifically out of love for Sonic and that's what hurts the most.

I was thinking about Sonic telling Alan that him and North kepts mossing eachother
And how tragic they are
Cause what if North fell first, but they are so young, it feels more like a puppy crush. He didn’t really think much about it, he just saw Sonic and decided “this is the one i want to spend the rest of my life with”
But he doesn’t fully grasp the extend of his feelings yet, falling into such an easy friendship and they are so close that he sometimes forgets how much he wants to kiss him.
And they stay friends, but they are so close.
Sonic doesn’t really think friends should act the way they do, wouldn’t mind taking it further. But North is more just making jokes about it, so Sonic gets over it. North still keeps him closer than anyone and thats enough for him.
But then Tony happens.
Sonic is in danger and something snaps inside of North. Faced with the very real possibility that Sonic could seriously be hurt, he realizes that he could not live with himself if something were to happen to Sonic. After all he was the one who mattered most to him.
So he starts testing the waters, making jokes, hinting at something deeper.
Meanwhile Sonic is faced with protective North, feeling a rush of love and affection for him.
And while North is trying to get closer in his own way, knowing he’s not as good as good with his words like Sonic is, Sonic feels like something is dangled in front of him that he can never have.
So he leaves, trying to move on.
And North misses him, loves him so much.
But Sonic isn’t there anymore.
And when he comes back, something has shifted.
So North decides to finally take a leap, trying to take the next step.
Only to hear Sonic wants to move on.
