Warnings: Mentions of Illness, poor health, death

Being chronically ill when medicine was barely making advancements wasn’t ideal 

Barely any medicine to at least aid the pain that came with it 

Not wanting to worry the rest of the family though 

Realistically, not much could have been done and with how busy your siblings were, you didn’t want to pester them 

At least until Sherlock came to visit you at your home

You were tired when you greeted him and he quickly took notice 

Sherlock investigating while you grab him a drink until he comes across a pamphlet you were given from the town’s doctor 

Him confronting you despite you being upset that he went around to snoop into your stuff 

At the end of the day, he ended up taking you to his home with Enola

Even setting up your own room for you  

Constantly trying to take care of you, despite your stubbornness 

Always trying to give you nutritious meals while bringing you aspirin to help with any pains

Constantly checking in on you with a doctor that comes every 3 days

Since Enola lives with him, she is also worried 

Most of the time is just you trying to comfort her that you’ll be fine and okay 

Sherlock also trying to take care of her with coping too 

While also monitoring Mycroft’s visits 

Though with you being sick with such an illness, it doesn’t stop Sherlock from trying to find the best medicine for you 

Even if it meant having to send things in and out through multiple countries 

Though when you ever felt down about the situation, he got you through it 

Would hold you when you needed a shoulder to cry on while telling you that everything was going to be okay 

When you could barely walk, Enola would pop into your room and try to cheer you up 

Mainly by doing little drawing competitions or takes you on strolls outside in a wheelchair 

Basically anything to help you smile 

Until when things got serious and you couldn’t even stand up, everyone grew beyond concerned 

Sherlock paid more attention, staying up longer nights to find better treatments, Enola hung around you more often as Mycroft would fund whatever treatments Sherlock could find 

Having the “If I die, I want you to....” talk with Sherlock, even if it pained him on the inside 

In all, your siblings would try their best to take care of you, no matter at what cost they would have to go through 

They also would try their to best to stick and stand by your side, at least up until the very end

Making plans and everything just to show him off to the girl 

Until you two got more cups of beer and ended up going from sober to buzzed to almost trashed 

Then it just ended up in ya’ll climbing or falling over furniture 

Not even going near Lake cause Victor was there to help keep Felix in control 

Victor also being confused as to who you were and why you were drinking with his bestfriend 

Until Felix introduces you to him as the person he spilled beer on 

Your friend ends up spotting you and decides to take you home which ends up with you having to say a drunk goodbye to Felix 

And when the next school day came around, he spotted you 

Him clinging onto you whenever Victor was away 

Mainly cause you are the only friend he has besides Vic :(

Which turned into him gradually incorporating you into his friend group 

Whether you wanted to just be his friend or something more becomes up to you

When Thanos interrogated Loki, you managed to deter him away 

Unfortunately ending in you taking the blame for the trick he pulled with the tesseract 

Which resulted in death 

Loki trying to hold you after Thor held him back so they could escape 

He was more than angry 

Your death didn’t go unnoticed, but it wasn’t spoken about either 

Just became strong tension between him and Thor whenever they were alone 

Turn up really upset whenever he was reminded of you from extreme guilt 

But then there is his brother who thought of you as his sister

Thor didn’t want to forget about you, so he tried to commemorate you 

Which resulted in a fight because if they had a funeral, then that would mean that Loki would have to accept that you died 

Thor doing it anyway which ends with Loki disappearing for a bit 

Literally disappears, no one is sure whether he even stayed on the same realm

The longest stage of his grief was solely denial 

Wouldn’t hesitate to help with the time heist theory when it was presented though 

Everyone making sure he doesn’t run into you when he is in another timeline where you were still alive 

Because they just know he would try to pull a stunt

Almost manages to ditch the plan and stay with you when he does find you though

It did not work, he was taken back before he could manage to actually get a hold of you (even if you were on board)

Losing you again hit 10x harder than before

But now that he was pulled away from you, it starts to sink in that you aren’t coming back to him 

Which makes him start progress in the stages of grief

Esp as he starts hallucinating you as you become just a figment of consciousness 

Being almost like the angel on his shoulder and telling him what was wrong 

Eventually has to accept the truth 

Has another funeral but this time with him present, while being very picky and making sure that everything is right 

Nobody knows where and how he got all the accessories and decorations

Or even the pricey and historic jewelry they’d place on you in the casket

Started becoming more appreciative of time and more sympathetic 

And even aspires to be a better person than he was before 

Especially since you always tried to get him to change his ways, he wanted to treasure your efforts and make sure it didn’t go unseen

In all, he ends up missing you (a lot) but the loss leaves him more appreciative for the world since he knows that though you are gone, the bits of you still remain there with him 

Even if he doesn’t know that your ghost still walks with him

Update; I updated my to do list for the request items !!! I only drafted since I barely got 4 hours of sleep and feel like if I published anything, I would literally change sentences to 3 words while accidentally deleting parts. I am thinking of drafting everything and then publishing next week :) 

I know I say that a lot but since it’s pride month, I really want to start writing for LGBTQ+ headcanons/preferences soon so I am getting everything out of the way to do it !!
