finished my sprint tickets early so i spent some time today toying with the rss feed and, excitingly, was actually able to parse it and display some of the data in a quick little wagtail app i created. i'm using python for work for the first time so i wanted the practice. i think i want to build the actual api in ruby on rails and i'm still looking into hosting options for that.

now that i actual have my hands on the data i'm getting very excited about how i want to parse and organize it. sample json object structure to come :)

making this blog to document the creation (and hopefully improvement) of a welcome to night vale api since, what the hell, no one else has, it's been a few years since i ran a wtnv blog, and i need a fun project to look at that's not work. open to suggestions for features/site design <3
