An intro, and such

Hello hello! This blog's brand new. I'm Kyle, and I'm a British author of cosmic and body horror. I wrote The Church of the Mountain of Flesh, a medieval story about a Faustian pact for a gender transition featuring a romance between a man who becomes a prophet and a man who becomes his God, which is a finalist for three Indie Ink awards. Fans of Angels Before Man, Hell Followed With Us, Devilman Crybaby and Midnight Mass often enjoy it. My work in progress is Conjoined Angels, a story set in 1930s Oklahoma about a physician and a veterinary radiologist falling in love as they vivisect a monster which fell out of a supercell. I finished the first draft in December and I'm using my three-month break from acknowledging its existence to work on the illustrations.

(I'm also an artist in coloured pencil and fineliner - all the artwork I post is mine unless otherwise credited.)

Anyway, I've seen a few people saying they learned about COTMOF from tumblr, so I thought I'd come and join in. :))

Congrats on graduating! I just transferred from a community college to a full-on uni myself, so I’m only about halfway done myself. How’s it feel to be done?

Congrats!! I have no idea how the American system works, but I know that's a huge achievement :D I'm actually moving onward to a postgraduate, so technically I'm not done BUT knowing I will have a lot more time to myself this year is really lovely. I gotta say the moment you submit your last piece of work is an unmatched feeling of BLISS
