Hello! I have a quick question about the way you chose to format your plan for wyrtt! I saw that you used a script before turning it to chapter form and was wondering if you found that easier. You inspired me to write a dsmp service dog fic of my own and was having trouble writing it in chapter form. Also what program do you use for the script writing if you do it digitally? Hope this wasn't to much to ask, enjoy the rest of your weekend!

I did do script first, and I am finding it a little easier. This way, i have all the dialogue, major events and things formatted and then just turn it into content/chapters!

I am very happy to hear that it inspired you to write your own! I totally understand having some issues about it, I could try to give you a hand if you like!

first peice of writing!

I have just posted the first peice of writing for the au!!

It’s a oneshot that is tommyinnit centric and talks about when he first started skating and his life before meeting everyone else!

Summary:

Tommy can’t remember details about his childhood, but he can remember every negative comment that was said to him.

He hates that he can remember it, but he can.

Because people are not the kindest when you’re fourteen and capable and in front of the cameras.

His last memory of skating is from a few months before he turned fourteen.

And while Tommy doesn’t remember a lot of his childhood, he’s making new memories with Phil and Techno and Wilbur and his new best friend Tubbo, and he’s going to be okay.

Because Tommy smiles easier now.

He grins and laughs and lets himself live in the moment and he’s genuinely happy.

Now, finally, Tommy is happy.

Playlist Time!!!

I have a playlist for “when you reach the top (there’s nowhere else to go but–)”

It’s been in the works for the past few months because I wanted to make sure I got the right song for the right chapter!!!

Beautiful Art!!!

I commissioned an art peice from @nkhaotic​ a few months ago and completely forgot to post it!!

It took me a long time to decide what to ask for, but because I had art of Ranboo and Tommy, I decided to get art of Tubbo!!

And here it is!!!

This turned out absolutely beautiful and includes a lot of really important details about wyrtt!Tubbo!! Including his cochlear implant, which can be seen on his right ear, his sunflower disability pin, and his key necklace!!

I am totally in love with how this turnedo out!!!

sign names in the au!!!

I only just realized that I never actually did a post about this! But this is the post about sign names!!

So I previously did a post about a scene where the characters talked about sign names (you can find it here). The way that sign names work is that they can only be given by Deaf people, and there are two different types: Arbitrary and Descriptive! Arbitrary is a sign name that usually is a letter handshape moved in a certain way and Descriptive means that the sign describes the person.

The way sign names work is that the sign name means that person. So if someone named Keith has a name sign, that name sign only means that one Keith, it does not mean all Keiths.

So each member of the WYRTT AU has a sign name that I came up with. The names use British Sign Language handshapes, here they are:

The sign names for each of the characters fall into the two categories.

Descrpitive: Techno, Wilbur, and Tubbo.

Arbitrary: Philza, Ranboo, and Tommy.

Here are all of their sign names, some have two ways of signing their names.

Techno: A ‘T’ Handshape moved across the shoulder to show his long pink hair falling over his shoulder in a braid.

Wilbur: A ‘W’ handshape in front of the mouth that is pulled apart.

Tubbo: A ‘B’ handshape in front of the chest that is waved back and forth like a bee.

Philza: A ‘P’ handshape, moved into a ‘Z’ handshape in front of the chest. This means ‘Philza’. And then the second way is by signing is by signing ‘Father’ which is signed by pointing out the pointer and middle finger on each hand, and tapping them on top of each other (video here), and then signing a ‘Z’ handshape. This sign means ‘Dadza.’

Ranboo: A ‘B’ handshape in front of the chest that is then pulled apart to create two ‘O’s. This means “Boo.”

Tommy: A ‘T’ handshape that is moved into a ‘Y’ handshape. And then when Wilbur signs “Tom-may” he adds a handshape to it: So it becomes, ‘T’ handshape, into ‘A’ handshape, then into a ‘Y’ handshape.

Personally, Tommy’s second sign name is my favorite one that I came up with! I am working on little drawing-animations for each of the name signs! I have created one’s for Tubbo and Ranboo that I will share soon!

oh! actually it would probably be the more simple commnets? like the ones i get from my friends rather than fancy formal ones!

my friend MB said about a writing i did for an competition entry: "i love how narrative and it also reads kind of like poetry sometimes. your writing style does that so well, it's such an artistic way of writing."

it's the little comments like that! my older sibling said my writing feels like an old memory that you try and remember when you aren't sure on the details.

11. Who is your favorite character(s) to write about and why?

i am really liking writing for c!tommyinnit and c!technoblade! both of them have relaly distinct speaking and acting styles which is a lot of fun!

13. Describe your writing style. If you were to participate in an anonymous fic writers guessing game (like The Masked Author), what writing habits do you have that would be a dead giveaway that it's you?

oooo.

hmm. my use of So Many Paragraph Breaks. if i want something to have emphasis i put it on a new line in a paragrpah.

or the fact that my dialogue is smooth but that there isn't much on it! im more likely to talk about how someone said something rather then what they actually said!

i am really big on describing things so that too!

a trip out of London in the snow

(TUBBO is up on the loft.)

TUBBO: Right (he comes to the railing and looks down). We’ve got to get going–

TOMMY: Going? (he glances at RANBOO)

(RANBOO shrugs and looks up at TUBBO. TUBBO smiles brightly and lifts a bag over the railing.)

TOMMY: No– wait– don’t–

(TUBBO drops the bag he was holding, trying his best to land it on TOMMY who scrambles out of the way to narrowly avoid getting hit by it.)

(TUBBO runs around to the spiral staircase and jumps down the last few steps. He grabs the bag from where it landed as TOMMY and RANBOO look at him.)

TOMMY: Bee boy–

(TUBBO hums and glances at him.)

TOMMY: Where are we going?

TUBBO: (with a bright smile) Train station.

(TOMMY glances at RANBOO, who sits up and leans against the back of the couch.)

RANBOO: Why?

TUBBO: To catch a train.

TOMMY: A train to where?

TUBBO: Out of London. (he pauses) Now get up– come on.

(TOMMY and RANBOO both get up.)

TOMMY: Can I–

TUBBO: No.

(TOMMY shrugs and turns when RANBOO walks out of his room with two coats in his hands.)

RANBOO: Do you need to borrow a coat, Toms? It’s pretty cold outside.

(TOMMY glances at TUBBO who pauses, considers it, and then nods.)

TOMMY: Yeah, alright then–

TUBBO: There might be some snow where we are going. I’ll pack some gloves. And I’m packing the sandwiches Boo made for lunch today.

TUBBO: Okay– we’re ready!

(The three walk downstairs and out of the building. Henry's leash in TOMMY's hand. They step out onto the sidewalk.)

TOMMY: (softly) It’s snowing.

(Henry sits down by his feet as TOMMY tilts his head back and lets the snow fall on his face. TUBBO grins brightly at him and RANBOO steps towards him, setting a hand on his shoulder as he starts to tilt backwards.)

TOMMY: Snow is my favorite thing. (he pauses) When I was a kid– I didn’t– I lived too far south for there to be snow, but every winter my mum would take me north the second snow started to show. (he smiles softly) I forgot how much I missed it.

(The three stand there for a few minutes as TOMMY continues to look up at the sky. He tilts his head back down and smiles at TUBBO and RANBOO.)

TOMMY: (energetically) Well– come on now–

(They continue.)
