I hope Eddie and Chris move back to LA for themselves and not solely because of Buck…. This whole arc has been about Eddie’s journey and him fixing his relationship with Chris. So I hope this carries forward to their reason to return. I hope if he comes out it’s because of self reflection and not tied to Buck. I hope his feelings for Buck are realized after he figures himself out and starts to look at the world differently. I think they’ve always been below the surface but I just hope he doesn’t only come out because of Buck… I don’t like that Buck’s coming out was tied to someone else and that person is given too much power by some people.

I feel underwhelmed by this episode. I can’t pinpoint why. There are parts I loved and I’m happy that Maddie is back to work and working through some of her issues. I’m also glad that things are improving between Eddie and Chris.. but idk I think I was expecting more? Or maybe I want conflict with Eddies mom but just something felt off on this episode.

My favourite headcannon in 9-1-1 is still that Chris doesn’t know Buck’s first name. I remember reading a fic where Chris finds out that if anything happens to Eddie he goes to Evan and Chris just freaks out and yells at Eddie that he doesn’t want to be with anyone else except Buck. Eddie has to explain that Evan is Bucks first name.

I’m looking for a fic… I can only give vague details but I hope you can help me find it lol.

Relationship: Buddie

I’m foggy on details but it was a different first meeting style fic but I’m not sure if it was tagged as such. Buck and Eddie are going on dates /fwb but they don’t know each other outside of that I’m not sure if they’re both firefighters. Chris is living with Eddies parents I’m not sure if it’s permanently or temporary. The tsunami happened and I remember it hinting that Buck saved Chris but neither Buck nor Eddie know of the connection. Eddie doesn’t know who saved Chris/ Buck doesn’t know that Chris survived after the firetruck incident. It was incomplete when I read it so idk what happens after or if it’s even been updated since… I thought I had saved it but I can’t find it or maybe it was deleted ☹️ I’d like to find it so I can finish it or at least subscribe in case it does get updated. Sorry for rambling I’m trying to remember what I can lol

I swear this season is the best Oliver has looked… and like I’ve always been a Buck fan. But he seems so happy/healthy and it just suits him so fucking well. Also Eddie looks great as always they’re both so hot lol 😻😻
