“But what if something happens and we’re not in the room? What if they need us? What if-” Peter rambled worriedly, not wanting to leave your baby’s side.
You cut him off. “Peter, we’ll be in the living room. They’re fast asleep, it’ll be fine.”

MOMENTS (A PETER PARKER IMAGINE)
Summary: Based on the short film, Moments, featuring Tom Holland. Peter looks back at all the moments you shared together as he watches you die.
Gender: Not Specified (However, written with female in mind)
Notes: This short film is heart-breakingly beautiful and I absolutely love it, this is what spiralled from that. I also didn’t include any speech, as I think part of the beauty comes from the fact the relationship between the two doesn’t need any speech to carry it.
Dedicated to my tom hollacc’s who I’m causing sm pain with this. I love y’all!
Warnings: Death and depictions of grief.
{REQUESTS ARE OPEN}
This is hard to understand, and I don’t really know where to start.
This… This wasn’t how this was supposed to be, but here we are.
Peter sat by your bedside, tears prickling in his eyes. He didn’t know what to do with himself, not anymore. Your still body lay motionless, fighting for the precious life that was slowly fading out, trickling through your fingers like a handful of dust. Peter felt helpless. Normally there was something he could do to protect you, but now there wasn’t. He was reliant on Doctors and Nurses and medicine to bring you back to him, but even they were doubtful that they could help. Everything was falling apart. All he could do was sit there silently, watching you die and remember all the moments you shared together.
Peter pointed the camera at you and you giggled, hiding your face in your hands, suddenly camera shy. You yelled at him to stop, but Peter just laughed and ignored you, saying that you were beautiful and the camera was lucky, being able to take photos of you. You rolled your eyes at the cheesiness of the comment, but relented anyway. You could never say no to Peter.
Peter on his part felt as lucky as the camera. In his eyes you were perfect, all the things people would say were flaws making you so all the more. He loved capturing you, especially off guard as you always looked free and happy, the candid photos even more realistic and stunning. Peter looked down at the camera screen, smiling at how perfect the shot looked.
Peter choked back the tears that continued to slowly build, knowing that if he let himself cry it would feel too real, the flood of realisation would hit him. He needed to be strong for you, but how could he be when you were the one that gave him his strength? Instinctively, Peter reached out and clasped your limp hand on the scratchy sheets.
Peter remembered all the walks through the park, yours fingers entangled as you walked as close as possible, wrapped up in your love together. The conversations as you walked talking about anything and everything, nothing specific, only mindless chatter as you enjoyed each other’s company.
How he knew you loved watching all the ducks in the lake so Peter constantly pointed them out. Whenever you got close to edge of the lake you always used to almost fall in but Peter caught you every time, the both of you giggling and smiling. Then once you got your footing you looked out over the water, feeling calm and at peace in the tranquil scenery, continuing to talk about anything.
These were the times Peter loved. Doing nothing specific and endlessly spending time with you, cuddled up close on a park bench, sharing sweet kisses. Two teenagers in love.
Holding your hand wasn’t enough, Peter brought your joined hands up to his lips, pressing a kiss to the back of them. You were still warm and the dark part of Peter’s brain wondered how long that would last. Impulsively, Peter leaned over your still form and landed an urgent kiss on your forehead, trying to pour out all of his love and anguish in this one simple action.
When the nights got colder, you naturally gravitated to spending your time in Peter’s apartment, Aunt May not caring as Peter knew she loved you just as much as him. You cuddled together on Peter’s bed, kissing and laughing, watching movies together. The one time Aunt May allowed you to cook dinner in the kitchen and you attempted pancakes, Peter being surprisingly good at flipping but eventually things went south as you unsurprisingly burnt a batch and triggered the smoke alarm.
Other times you played football on the foosball table. You were extremely bad, which he found endearing, however this didn’t stop him from being a very sore winner and cheering loudly every time he got a goal in (which was every few minutes). You constantly tricked him, pretending to be sad only to get cuddles and kisses as Peter tried to cheer you up, complaining when he found out you were faking.
Right now, with his lips against your forehead, Peter would even take your teasing, anything at all if it meant you were awake and full of life again. He collapsed against the hospital seat, completely defeated, still gripping your hand as if it was his lifeline. For Peter it was. The feeling of your pulse against his fingers being the only thing still grounding him.
Ultimately, Peter couldn’t stop the tears from falling.
Sobs wracked his body as everything came crashing down around him. You were leaving him. You couldn’t leave him, you were Peter’s whole world. He didn’t want to live in a world without you in it. Spider-Man, being an Avenger, none of it mattered if you weren’t there to experience it by his side. However, Peter knew that these were just dreams. You were slipping away from him, but it shouldn’t be like this. It couldn’t, you deserved more moments.
We will laugh again together. We will speak again, we will mess around, and watch the time pass us by.
There are still moments to be had.

STAR-CROSSED LOVERS (AN AU PETER PARKER IMAGINE) - PART THREE
Summary: Summary: One night at a party hosted by her father’s rival, Y/N meets Peter Parker and the two instantly connect. However, she has no idea that he’s the intern of Tony Stark, the rival.
[PART ONE] [PART TWO]
Gender: Female
Notes: Goddamn finally. If you follow my account then you probably know that I’ve been away for a week and then ill for the past few days, so I’ve not been able to write even though I’ve been wishing I could write the next part of this. Also, I really wanted to write out the Romeo/Mercutio/Tybalt scene even though this is in the reader’s POV, so I did it in a flashback. And shit is about to go down.
Warnings: Violence (not really that graphic I’d say?) including an accidental serious assault.
{REQUESTS ARE OPEN}
You and Peter continued to meet in secret over the next few weeks, always at what you have named as ‘your spot’ in Central Park. Peter continued to be an absolute adorable dork, something which you found completely endearing, and you had fallen hard. You hadn’t told him this yet, but you’d been in love with Peter for around a week now. Well, even though technically you had realised you were in love a week ago, you knew you had been in love since the moment your drinks spilt on each other.
“…Then soda came out of his nose and went everywhere! The lunch lady wasn’t very happy.” Peter had just finished telling you a story about what happened to Ned at lunch today. You smiled against his shoulder, not really paying attention and just loving the sound of his voice, feeling content in his arms. “Are you even listening to me?”
“Wha?” You looked up dazed, blushing when you realised you’d be caught out. Peter laughed. “Sorry.” You apologised, sheepishly.
Peter stroked your cheek with his thumb. “It’s okay. You’re adorable when you blush.”
Your eyes connected and you grinned lazily, when a flood of realisation hit you. You loved Peter.
It was your next meeting and you were convinced that you were going to say those small three words to Peter. You thought it was funny, how saying three words could change the course of a relationship forever.
You were at, once again, your spot in Central Park, Peter helping you with your Chemistry homework. The weather hadn’t been great all day, dull, grey clouds looming overheard and you hadn’t spent the entire day hoping that it didn’t rain. Luckily it hadn’t, but you still expected that it could start at any moment. So you took the cold weather as an excuse to sit as close to Peter as possible while you worked.
“When an atom loses one or more electrons it becomes...” Peter trailed off, waiting for you to fill in the answer.
“A positively charged ion?” You asked, unsure of your answer.
“Yes!” Peter beamed at you. “So that means when they gain one of more electrons it is?”
“A negatively charged ion.” You answered, more certain, now smiling as you realised you finally had grasped which way round they were. Peter held his hand up for a high five, which you reciprocated.
“I told you you’d get it!” Peter said. “You said the next thing you had to do were atomic numbers?”
You reached over to the textbook Peter had on his lap and started to flick the pages to find the section on atomic numbers when raindrops started to fall from the sky. You and Peter looked at each other as a downpour suddenly started and quickly threw the books back in your backpack. Peter got up and started to head towards your car.
“What?” You stopped Peter with a hand on his wrist.
“Let’s dance in the rain!” You called over the patter of the rain. Peter looked at you incredulously, but you tugged him closer. “Come on, how often are we going to be able to do this?” He finally relented and you both started skipping and dancing around the grass, almost slipping and constantly stepping on each other’s toes. You laughed breathlessly as Peter spun you both in a circle, your arms outstretched.
You collapsed against each other giggling, clothes clinging to your bodies and your hair dripping down your faces. Peter took your face between his hands, connecting your lips together. You felt like you were in one of the cheesy romantic movies you watched with Wanda, kissing in the rain with the man you loved. This wasn’t a movie though, this was real and you couldn’t understand how you had ended up so lucky.
“I love you, Y/N.” Peter confessed, nervously. You heart sped up, the feeling of butterflies in your stomach as his words sunk in. Peter loved you back.
“I love you too.”
Two days later was when everything started to come crashing down.
It started with your dad and Bucky running out of the apartment late into the evening, yelling at you to stay indoors until they returned. You were laid on your bed, wondering why Peter hadn’t replied for a few hours, considering he never disappeared on you without saying a word. That combined with whatever was going on with your dad caused a pit of worry to gnaw at your stomach. You couldn’t help but feel like something terrible had happened, and you paced around your room, constantly checking your phone for any updates. Even Wanda, who was normally always at her phone, didn’t reply.
Half an hour later, a loud banging came from your balcony door and you jumped in surprise, rushing over and pushing open the curtains. Peter was collapsed against the window, blood running from his temple. Hair was plastered against his face from the rain, and he was soaked through, holding his side and struggling to remain upright. Quickly, you helped him into your room and deposited him on your bed.
“Peter? Peter? Are you okay?” You asked hurriedly, grabbing his face and making him look you in the eyes. What had happened to him? You knew something had gone wrong tonight, you felt it.
“I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean too. One second he wasn’t there and it was just me and him and then he was and the next thing I knew… Oh god, I’m so sorry.” Peter babbled incoherently, tears streaming down his face. You pulled him into your arms, stroking his back as he sobbed against your shoulder. You murmured words of comfort, not seizing your movements until you felt him calm down and his breathing had returned to normal.
“I’m going to go and get the first aid kit from the bathroom and fetch you some dry clothes and a towel, okay?” You held his shoulders and looked him in the eye, patiently waiting until you knew he understood you. Peter gave a minute nod. “I’ll be back in a second, get out of those wet clothes.”
You quickly collected the kit, towel and the smallest clothes Bucky owned that you could find. They would likely to still be too big, but it was better than the wet ones Peter was currently wearing. When you got back into your bedroom, Peter was still laid on the bed but now in his boxers and he watched as you walked over and sat on the side of the bed.
“I’ll be as gentle as I can.” You told him, softly. You didn’t really have any idea about first aid, but you did your best. You cleaned up the cut on his temple and taped it over with a couple of small strips of surgical tape, and then applied cream a cream which was mean to reduce pain and swelling to the giant bruise on his side. Eventually you help Peter dry off and get into the sweats you brought him, deciding to leave the t-shirt for now as it caused a flair of pain whenever he tried to get it on.
“Can you tell me what happened?” You asked when you were finally settled on your bed, curled up on Peter’s good side. You could see tears starting to build up in Peter’s eyes as he thought about it again, and you immediately wiped them away with your thumbs. “It’s okay, you don’t have to worry about telling me anything. I’m here for you.”
Peter took a deep breath and began telling the story.
Peter and Ned were heading down the road, talking about the Death Star lego model they wanted to make when they got back to Peter’s apartment. It was 3000 pieces and the two boys were nerding out, excited to build it up together. When they got nearer the corner, another two men came around the corner and Peter recognised one of them as Clint and he was with a dark skinned man Peter hadn’t seen before, but assumed he was one of the people on ‘Steve’s side’. Peter nudged Ned and gestured for them to cross the road to avoid conflict when Clint noticed them.
“Hey, its Stark’s little pet!” Clint called out, laughing. The man who was with him knocked him disapprovingly, but Clint ignored him and headed in Peter’s direction.
“Look I just want to go home, I’m not part of this fight.” Peter held his hands up in defence, stuttering nervously. Clint stared him down.
“You became part of this when you joined Tony Stark.”
“Clint!” The man shouted, coming over and placing a hand on Clint’s shoulder, which the man immediately shrugged off.
“This is our side of town.” Clint said, still looking malicious. Peter glanced towards Ned who looked just as nervous as Peter felt.
“I live a few blocks from here, I didn’t realise you had sides.” Peter told him, not knowing what to do. “I mean, I thought you were friends with Natasha.” This seemed like the wrong thing to say as Clint’s eyes darkened.
“Natasha has nothing to do with this. She isn’t Tony’s pet, she just agreed with him rather than Steve.” Clint stepped even closer, squaring up to him. Peter felt trapped, there wasn’t anything Ned would be able to do that he couldn’t, and it seemed Clint wouldn’t listen to his friend.
“I don’t want any trouble.” Peter pushed Clint back slightly, trying to get some space, without realising his own strength and Clint stumbled backwards. Clint was now angry, glaring at Peter.
“Clint…” The other man said warningly. Clint didn’t listen, he was focused on Peter, thinking that Peter was starting to get physical, when in reality he didn’t want any conflict. Suddenly, Clint came rushing towards Peter, knocking him into the ground and Peter immediately went onto the offensive. They struggled, Peter managing to get the upper hand and get back onto his feet. Clint held his fists up, immediately getting back into a fight and it was all Peter could do to block his assault. Suddenly, the next thing he knew the other man came into the fray, trying to split the two men up.
Peter didn’t realise what he’d done until it had happened. One second, Clint’s fist was aiming for his face and he was trying to block him, the next, Peter was missing Clint completely and his own fist hit the other man in the face knocking him backwards from the force of it and falling to the ground. He cracked his head on the wall beside them, crumpling to the ground unconscious with blood pouring out of his skull.
He stared at the man, freezing in panic. What had he done? He heard Clint call out the man’s name, Sam, and the next thing he knew he was on the ground, Clint kicking him in the stomach. Vaguely, he heard Ned say he was going to get help, but he couldn’t focus on anything but the blinding pain in his side. Finally, it stopped, and Peter wasted no time in scrambling up of the sidewalk, ignoring the calls of the bystanders who had just turned up, and rushing away from the scene, sobbing all the way.
“I didn’t know where to go so I just wandered around a while until I ended up here.” Peter finished, now crying again. “I didn’t mean to hurt him, Y/N. I swear.”
You stayed silent for a moment, trying to process the information. You knew Clint was short-tempered and a hot head but you never expected him to do anything like that. Although, this explained why Steve and Bucky ran out suddenly, and why Wanda wasn’t answering any of your messages.
“Y/N?” Peter asked timidly, and you realised you hadn’t said anything since Peter finished.
“This is a mess.” You said finally, not knowing what else to say.
“I know, I didn’t want any of this to happen.” Peter cried. “These people are your family and I love you so much, I don’t want you to be hurt. I love you.”
“I love you too. This hasn’t changed, it was an accident.” You said immediately, realising what Peter was struggling with. He was afraid you didn’t love him anymore. You held his face in your hands, kissing him on the forehead. “I will love you until the day I die.”
Once Peter had calmed down again, you laid on your bed silently, basking in each other’s comfort. You didn’t know what was going to happen now, whether Sam would live or die, or what it meant for you and Peter, but you tried to forget about all of that for a moment.
Eventually you knew you had to get up, to make sure no one came into your room and found Peter there, but it was a while before you got the energy to sit up. Even then, Peter convinced you to continue laying with him, needing you to stay and you relented with the compromise that at the first sign of someone coming home that you’d be getting up.
The next thing you knew Steve was waking you both up with an angry shout.

ATTRACTIVE GAMER (A JACKSEPTICEYE IMAGINE)
Requested by @shane-in-space:  Hey would i be abe to request a jacksepticeye imagine but with a male!reader? Where maybe jack finally allows him to play some games with mark, bob and wade and jack is surprised/ a bit attracted to how good he is at them? Thank you!!
Gender: Male
Notes: I thought this was a really cute request, and I hope I did it justice. I made them play Golf with Friends because those videos are some of my favourites and I had reference the infamous “THERES A POWER BAR???” haha!
{REQUESTS ARE OPEN}
You settled across from Sean in the recording room in yours and his apartment, set up on his second monitor and sharing a microphone. You were both about to be playing some Gold with Friends with Mark, Bob and Wade, something you had been trying convince Sean to let you do for a while, but he hadn’t finally given in until now. Sean never told you why he never wanted you to join them, and it hurt every time he never gave an answer even though he always swore that it wasn’t because he was embarrassed of you, you couldn’t help but think that was the reason why.
“Hey guys!” Sean called out when Skype connected and the three popped up on the screen. A chorus of greetings were returned.
“Is Y/N there?” Bob asked. “You said he was joining us.”
“Yeah, he’s across from me on the other monitor.” Sean nodded over to you.
“Hey, it’s nice to meet you all. Well, kind of meet you.” You introduced, nervously. Although you wanted to join them, you were still nervous that they may not like you.
“We’ve been asking Jack to let us meet you for a while, but he always said no.” Mark said, and that only served to add to your theory that Sean was embarrassed of you. You looked over at Sean to see him looking at you guiltily and when he saw you watching at him he changed the subject.
“Okay, okay, enough of that. Mark, stop getting me into trouble.” Sean laughed, but you could tell it was partly a charade. You decided to not bring it up for now, choosing to enjoy playing the game instead. You all booted it up and got into the same multiplayer game, setting it up have different shape balls and play in hard mode.
“Mark, don’t forget there’s a power bar.” Bob said, teasingly, and everyone laughed. Wade and Jack imitated Mark’s reaction, much to his displeasure, and you laughed along loudly.
“This is the first time I’m playing and even I know there’s a power bar.” You joked, hesitantly. Mark jokingly told you to fuck off, the other’s immediately joining your line of teasing, and you relaxed as Sean gave you a thumbs up.
The game started and you found it a lot easier than expected. You were currently second behind Wade, which you were proud of considering you expected to end up last. Everyone was joking and laughing and they included you as if you had always been one of the group, never making you feel like an odd one out. The only issue was Sean.
All the time you had been playing Sean kept watching you, a weird look in his eyes. You had never seen him look at you like that before, and it was slightly unnerving. Were you doing something wrong? As far as you knew, you didn’t. You were polite to everyone, didn’t say anything that would be inappropriate for YouTube, or act out in any way.
When you got to the final hole, you and Wade were pretty much neck and neck, him being only one point in front you. The others were cheering for you being the new one, and somehow you managed to find a cheat and end up almost at the hole, eventually getting it in three. Wade shouted loudly in mock anger, getting stuck on a loop and taking 9 shots to get it in.
“Yes!” You cheered loudly, doing a little victory dance in your chair and Sean laughed at your ridiculous dance moves.
“I can’t believe I got beaten by a first timer!” Wade complained, the others taunting him.
Once everyone had left and you and Sean were left alone, Sean went weird again, ignoring you with a flimsy excuse and you finally had enough of it.
“What have I done?” You asked, now standing across the room. “You’ve never wanted me to meet your friends but after today I still have no idea why, since they all wanted to meet me as well. Throughout the entire time we were playing you kept staring at me, and again, I have no idea why. As far as I know, I didn’t do anything out of place. I’m sick of the excuses, just tell me why.”
“It’s not you. I swear.” Sean said and you scoffed.
“Then what is it? You swear you aren’t embarrassed of me but that’s the only logical explanation I can think of. I want answers. Now.” You’d moved on from being worried, and were now angry. This had gone on long enough, you either got answers or you were gone.
“I’m not embarrassed of you, please just drop this.” Sean pleaded, the same look in his eye that he had when you were playing was back.
“You either give me a reason or I’m gone.” You gave Sean the final ultimatum. He sat silently, and you shook your head, starting to exit the room.
“I like you.” Well, that isn’t what you expected.
“You… Like me?”
“Yes, and that’s why I never wanted you to meet them! Because I knew they’d love you and I knew I wouldn’t be able to hide it anymore and I didn’t want to risk losing you.” Sean explained, looking nervous. “I’ve never liked a guy before either.”
You knelt down in front of his chair, lacing your fingers together. “It’s okay. You aren’t going to lose me, not anymore. All I wanted was a reason, and you gave me that. Plus, I really like you too.”
“Really?” Sean looked at you hopefully, and you smiled softly.
“Yes.”
With that, you leant up and pressed a sweet kiss on his lips. You never expected this to happen, you always thought Sean was straight but you were never going to complain. You pulled apart and you rested your foreheads together, grinning like maniacs.
“You know, you being good at the game was very attractive.” Sean said, coyly. You chuckled.
“Then maybe we should play more games together.”

STAR-CROSSED LOVERS (AN AU PETER PARKER IMAGINE) - PART TWO
Summary: One night at a party hosted by her father’s rival, Y/N meets Peter Parker and the two instantly connect. However, she has no idea that he’s the intern of Tony Stark, the rival.
Gender: Female
Notes: BALCONY SCENE!!! I was so excited to write that, aha, and I tried my best to fit in a version of “A rose by another name would smell as sweet” so I hope you can recognise which line that is.
This is queued for while I’m away. The third part will be up when I return home.
{REQUESTS ARE OPEN}
When you returned home your dad was waiting for you in the living room, an angry glare on his face. Between leaving the party and arriving home, Happy, Tony’s assistant, had called him up and told him about the situation and he was now livid. You had gotten a lecture, about how disappointed he was in you and how he’d expect this from Clint, even Wanda to some extent, but he thought you knew better. It hurt you knowing he was let down at what you’d done, especially since you didn’t originally want to go in the first place, but the fact that you’d met Peter there you couldn’t regret it. You knew it was wrong to fall for one of your supposed enemies but it was impossible to find anything bad about him.
You finally escaped your dad with a punishment of being grounded for the weekend, and you checked your phone as you finally collapsed on your bed. Wanda had sent you a quick text saying she and Clint had gotten home safely, and she hoped Steve wasn’t too hard on you. You replied quickly, before shutting off your phone.
The only person your mind was Peter. What had Tony told him about you? You assumed he now knew who you were after what had happened, and you prayed to whatever was out there that it didn’t make him feel any different about you. It didn’t you for him. Of course you knew it would be hard, and you didn’t even know if you would see him again, but your feelings hadn’t changed. They would never.
You stepped out onto your bedroom’s balcony, looking out at the city skyline. Why did Peter have to be on Tony’s side? It had to be your luck that the person you fell for was meant to be your enemy. This shouldn’t even apply to you both anyway. The feud was between Tony and Steve, not you and Peter. If he was an intern to anyone else in the city, you would have none of these issues.
“Why must you intern for Tony Stark? You could pick any businessman in the city and it was him?” You spoke out loud to yourself, thinking you were alone. “If Peter was working for anyone else he would still be Peter, so why must who he’s working for matter?” You sighed, resting against the balcony wall. “I really wish I could see you again.”
“Then look down.”
You jumped in surprise, quickly leaning of the wall to see Peter on the sidewalk below.
“Peter? How did you find out where I live?”
“Ned’s very good with computers, he found it out.” Peter explained. You looked at him worriedly.
“Should I be worried that you can find my address online?”
“Oh, no! Ned had to do some hacking to find it.” Peter shrugged, as if hacking was no big deal. You laughed at the flippancy of the comment, this boy was adorable.
“There’s a fire escape just round the corner if you want to come up. It’s just a small jump from the platform at this level to this balcony.” You told him. Peter nodded and quickly made his way up to you.
Once Peter was stood in front of you on the balcony, he wasted no time in wrapping his arms around your waist and pulling you towards him, kissing you deeply. Your arms wound themselves around his neck, hands tangling in his hair as you pushed yourself as close as possible. Even after knowing this boy for a few hours, kissing him felt like coming home, that enclosed in his arms was where you were meant to be.
“That’s certainly the best greeting I’ve ever had.” You laughed, breathlessly. Peter grinned, and you tugged him down to floor, sitting side by side against the wall, your knees touching. “I was worried you wouldn’t want to see me again.”
“Because of what happened?”
You nodded. “I don’t know what Tony told you about us, me, but I certainly know he would never allow this.”
“He told me about Steve, that you were his daughter, and that under no circumstances I was to have any connection to any of you.” Peter said and you looked away at the floor. Of course Tony said that, you knew this but a small part of you still had hope that it wouldn’t matter. “But that doesn’t mean I have to listen to him.”
“Yeah, well, my dad would also say the same thing and unfortunately, I don’t have the luxury of ignoring him.” You laughed bitterly. Peter cupped your cheek and turned you to face him.
“Then we don’t tell him. Either of them.” Peter decided. You were still slightly hesitant, knowing that if your dad ever found out then he would have Peter’s head on a platter. Literally. However, seeing Peter looking at you so longingly with such hope, you knew what your answer would be.
“Okay.”
Peter beamed. “Okay?”
“Okay.” You nodded, a grin creeping onto your face as well. Peter kissed you sweetly, all of the love and adoration between you pouring into this one kiss, and you giggled against his lips. You both knew it was risky, if anyone found out then you couldn’t imagine what would happen, but here in this moment you couldn’t find yourself to care.
“Can I see you this weekend?” Peter asked, and you sighed.
“I can’t. I’m grounded for the weekend because of the party tonight. I can on Monday.” Peter groaned, exaggeratedly. “It’s only two days you can manage.”
“I barely managed a few hours.” Peter said, sweetly. You pressed another quick kiss to his lips.
“Y/N?”
You both sprang apart, and you rushed into your bedroom, pushing your back against the door. “Don’t come in I’m not decent!”
Peter looked at you suggestively and you laughed quietly, rolling your eyes.
“You dad wants you in bed. It’s almost midnight.” Bucky relayed from the other side of the door.
“Okay!” You stayed pressed against the door, listening as Bucky moved away and once it was quiet you exhaled in relief. “You need to go. I’ll meet you in Central Park straight after I finish school.”
“I’ll be there.” Peter confirmed, and you held each other in a tight embrace before Peter jumped back over to the fire escape and made his descent back to the street. You watched him over the balcony, waving as he went out of view.
The Skype call connected, Wanda’s face popping onto your screen. It had been a few days since Peter turned up at your balcony, and ever since then you two had been texting constantly. You were still worried that your dad would find out but Peter constantly reassured you that you’d be careful, and suggested getting someone to be your alibi for when you were together if that helped.
That’s why you were on Skype to Wanda. You thought she would be the best option out of everyone to help, and the least likely to snitch on you to Steve. You also considered asking Clint but after the party you were unsure if Steve would trust him.
“How’s being grounded?” Wanda asked in greeting.
“Deal-able.” You shrugged. “How was Clint’s hangover and how was he after my dad got a hold of him?”
“Not deal-able.” Wanda laughed. “Your dad can be pretty scary when he wants to be, and Clint spent the entirety of yesterday morning bent over the toilet bowl.” You wrinkled your nose in disgust.
“Lovely.”
“Right? So what is it that you wanted to talk to me about?” You texted Wanda that you needed to talk face-to-face a few hours earlier, not wanting to explain the situation over the phone. You quickly double-checked that your door was closed and neither your dad nor Bucky were within earshot.
“I’m seeing someone.”
Wanda let out a squeal. “Who is he? What’s he like? When did you meet?”
“That’s the issue.” You sighed. Just get it over with, Rogers, it’s like ripping off a band aid. “It’s Peter Parker, Tony’s new intern.”
“Are you serious? Your dad will murder him. I mean that literally.” Wanda warned, looking at you in concern.
“I know, and that’s why I need your help! I need you to be my alibi for when I’m with him. Tell my dad that you’re helping me with my studies if he asks or calls or something.” You pleaded. If Wanda didn’t agree to this, you didn’t know what you were going to do.
“Is this worth it? I mean, it seems like so much hard work to see a guy you’ve only just met.”
“It’s crazy, and I realise I’ve only just met him, but there’s something different about him.” You explained, a dreamy look developing on your face as you talked about him. “Whenever I’m with Peter, it feels like I’ve known him forever. It feels like coming home. I’ve only been with him twice and I feel more strongly for him than I have anyone else in my entire life.”
“You really want this, don’t you?” Wanda realised.
“So much.”
“Fine, I’ll help.” You immediately perked up at that, thanking her profusely. “Just promise me you’ll at least try and be careful.”
“I will, I swear.”
You spent the next hour planning with Wanda about how you were going work this. You decided on saying you were going over to Wanda’s apartment to either study or just hang out depending on what school work was like, and you would text Wanda the times and dates of when she needed to cover for you, as well as the cover story to use for that time.
As soon as school let out on Monday, you wasted no time in heading straight to Central Park as fast as you could, thankful that you had recently gotten your license. You found a spare bench in a secluded section of the park so you would be less likely to be spotted by someone who recognised either of you.
To Peter: I’m here, just up the path from the ice cream van.
To Y/N: A couple of minutes away. Can’t get there fast enough.
You smiled and pocketed your phone before leaning back on the bench, watching an old man across the way feeding the pigeons. He saw you watching and gave you a short wave which you returned.
A few minutes later and you saw Peter heading in your direction and you immediately grinned, waving at him as he jogged the last few steps over to you.
“Hey.” Peter said, sitting beside you and immediately engulfing you in his arms.
You guys stayed there talking and cuddling for what felt like only a few minutes but was actually a couple of hours. Every time you learnt something new about Peter, you fell for him just a little bit more. He told you about his Aunt May, Ned, who you learnt was his best friend since middle school ever since they bonded over Star Wars after Peter saw Ned’s Storm Trooper backpack, and how he loved science and photography.
In return, you told him all about yourself. Your favourite hobbies and how you met Steve six years ago when you were ten when you ran away from your current foster home and ended up at Sam’s Veteran Meeting in which Steve was attending. Steve escorted you back but by that point you had already latched onto him, the first person since your father abandoned you, and Steve knew he had to bring you back home with him. So he filed for adoption as soon as he could and few months later you were living in your current apartment with Bucky and him.
Peter also told you about his own parents. How they were often on missions for the CIA and often left him with his Aunt May, then one day they never returned after being killed on the job. The fact that it had been 10 years since that happened and even though he could barely remember them all that much he still loved and missed them dearly.
When it reached the time for you to leave, you and Peter knew each other so much more intimately, and you knew for certain that you were already falling in love with this boy. Before heading back to your car, you quickly grabbed a frozen yogurt from the store near the car park.
“I don’t understand how you can eat that much sugar.” You laughed, watching Peter tuck into a chocolate flavoured yogurt, with extra sprinkles, mini marshmallows and toffee sauce.
“It’s so good though!” Peter exclaimed around a mouthful of yogurt. You shook your head, taking a polite spoonful of your own raspberry flavoured one.
“You’re lucky you’re cute.” You smirked. Finally, you reached your car and you rested the tub on the roof as you turned around to say goodbye. “Are you sure you don’t want a ride home?”
Peter nodded. “It’ll be safer for me to just catch the bus.”
“I’ll message you as soon as I get home.” You promised, running a hand through his hair. Peter placed his own yogurt tub beside yours.
“I’m going to hold you to that.” Peter said. He kissed you, meaning for it to be one quick goodbye kiss, but you ended up having a full make out session against your car, not able to bring yourself to separate. You never wanted to be apart from Peter, he was the best thing in your life right now, possibly ever.
Finally, you managed to say your last goodbyes and you hopped in your car, smiling at Peter with a wave as you started to head back home.

“Thanks for helping me.” You said to Iris with a smile.
“You’re welcome. Hopefully I’ll still see you as much even though we’re not working together constantly.” Iris said, longingly, sad that she wouldn’t be with you every day anymore.

“I know I try to act all chill but this stuff still gets to me, ya know?”
“I know, Daryl. You don’t have to be strong all the time.” You sent him a soft smile.

“This is Steve, your best friend. Do you remember him?” You asked, showing him a picture of Steve.
“I remember him being smaller.”
You chuckled. “He used to be.”

Peter Parker was everything to you. He was your boyfriend, your companion, and most importantly your best friend. You trusted him with your deepest darkest secrets and he trusted you with his. That’s why, after only a month of dating, Peter decided to tell you that he was the spider themed hero that the entire school was constantly talking about.
It was the middle of the night and you woke up to someone tapping loudly on your window. You sat up slowly, still half asleep. When you saw who it was you felt your stomach drop and suddenly every part of you was wide awake. Spider-man was hanging upside-down outside and was waving at you.
“Oh my god, no way!” you whispered. You quickly opened the window, allowing the masked figure to gracefully climb inside your bedroom. You couldn’t help but stare as he stood before you. He looked so intense and bold that you had to remind yourself that you weren’t still dreaming.
The mood was ruined almost immediately as Spider-Man went to lean against your bed frame but misjudged the distance and ended up stumbling over, knocking the lamp off of your bedside table.
“Shit, sorry!” he exclaimed as he fumbled around trying to put everything back to the way it was. You froze, putting the pieces together in your mind. You would have recognized his voice anywhere. You had listened to that voice talk for hours and hours at a time. It was the voice that calmed you down after every bad day and made you feel at ease.
“Peter?” you murmured. Spider-man nodded slowly, pulling back his mask to reveal your very own boyfriend. Your heart stopped and it took every ounce of self control not to throw yourself into his arms.
“Surprise!” he said with a grin. You were definitely surprised to say the least. Peter sat down on your bed and patted the spot next to him inviting you to join. The two of you talked the entire night, you listening to his exciting stories about fighting crime as Spider-Man. You didn’t think you could admire that boy any more than you already did but man were you wrong.
Everything changed after that night. For one thing, you had to bite your tongue every time you overheard girls talking about their crushes on Spider-Man. Peter made you swear not to tell anyone and you wouldn’t dare break that promise. At the same time, you were much more in tune with the news and gossip about him. Not to be weird but there was something about seeing Peter in that suit that got you going, and knowing that it was your boyfriend behind the mask made it even better.
“Peter have I ever told you how awesome it is that you’re Spider-Man?” you asked one day when you were hanging out at his house.
“I-I think you’ve mentioned it,” he said, his ears turning pink. You giggled, loving how embarrassed he got when you brought it up.
“Every single girl out there wishes she could date a superhero, how did I get so lucky?” You leaned over to kiss him on the cheek and he laughed.
“I think I’m the lucky one here,” he said with a grin. “Anyway, I think I should get going. There’s some stuff I have to take care of…”
“Say no more,” you said, standing up. “Be careful though.”
“Trust me, I always am,” he replied and grabbed his backpack. You both went your separate ways, but you couldn’t help but feel a bit odd about it. You were always nervous that Peter was going to get hurt while he was gone, but for some reason you couldn’t shake the bad feeling you had about tonight. You ignored it and headed home, knowing that whatever it was Peter could handle it.
A few hours later your mom came knocking on your bedroom door. She told you that Peter was there and that he wanted to see you. Your face lit up just like it did every time the two of you were together. However, when you laid eyes on your boyfriend your spirits fell immediately. His eyes were puffy and his face was red and you could tell he had been crying. He was wearing a t-shirt that was at least two sizes too big and some pink Hello Kitty pajama pants, looking absolutely miserable.
“Peter!” you cried. “What happened? Are you hurt?” He shook his head, avoiding your gaze.
“Y/N I… I have something I need to tell you,” he said in a low voice.
“Okay,” you said. “You can tell me anything.” He swallowed nervously and took a deep breath. He balled up his fists and looked anywhere other than at at you. You walked over and wrapped your arms around him. He stood as still as a statue and you could feel his uneven breathing and rapid heart rate as you pressed yourself against his chest.
“Peter, it’s alright,” you whispered. “You don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to it’s just that I-”
“Mr. Stark took my suit,” he burst out suddenly, his voice cracking. You looked up at him, his eyes finally meeting yours. They were filled with tears, and your heart broke.
“Aw Pete I’m so sorry,” you said, and you meant it. You knew that being Spider-Man was a big part of his life and that Tony was someone that he idolized. Peter stared at you for a moment blinking furiously before absolutely breaking down.
“Y/N I-I can’t…” he stammered before letting out a sob. “I’m sorry, I’m n-nothing without the suit. If I don’t have the suit, I can’t do anything. I’m not cool, I’m not impressive, I’m not interesting and oh god please just…. Please don’t leave me.” He got quieter and quieter as he went on, pleading with you.
“Why would I leave you?” you said softly. “Listen to me when I tell you that you mean the entire world to me. Sure, Spider-Man is a hero and stuff but so what? Peter Parker is funny, brilliant, and caring. Not to mention he’s incredibly cute and brave and sweet. Get it through your head that I’m not in love with Spider-Man. I’m in love with you. I have been since the day we met.”
“B-But you seemed to like me so much more when I had the suit on,” he mumbled. “Everyone does. If I’m not wearing it then no one cares about me.” You sighed and reached out to wipe the tears off of his cheeks. He closed his eyes at your touch, looking completely broken and defeated.
“Peter, I’ve always cared about you. I don’t like you any less or any more when you have the suit on. I like you all the time, your clothes don’t change who you are. I loved you then and I love you now. Never in a million years would I ever leave you, especially not over something like this.” By the time you had finished talking you were crying too, and from the look on his face you could tell that Peter believed you. He finally pulled you in closer and the two of you stood there together for a while in silence.
“I’m sorry I overreacted,” Peter said, finally finding his voice. “I just… I’m so scared of losing you, you know? For a while I thought being Spider-Man and impressing Mr. Stark was the most important thing in my life, but now…” He trailed off, his grip around your waist tightening a tiny bit as he kissed the top of your head.
“Y/N you’re my whole world.”
