wait so how was zest's dad like? as well as the custody battle?

Im still working out the details on that, hoping to write a fanfic about it one day if I can muster up enough motivation to write a full fic, so I guess spoilers for that.

but basic idea for the dad gets angered easily, and often takes out his anger on his wife and kid, violently.

One day He accidentally killed his wife and hid the body in side a wall in the basement, claiming she abandoned him and zest.

Zest became the brunt of the abuse and after a year or 2 she couldn’t take it anymore and ran away.

One day the splatoon accidentally learn about zests past abuse, legal battle happens, about a week or so into the hearings an investigation leads to the mother’s remains being found during the custody battle, the dad gets sent to jail for murder, and Marie wins full custody.

momarie and four headcannons?

Here’s a few off the top of my head.

It took Marie about half a year to gain custody of Zest from their terrible bio dad.

Zest has an extreme sweet tooth and often bugs Marie for tons of sweets when they go out shopping.

Every time Marie goes traveling on tour she buys Four a plushie from each location, leading to there being a mountain of plushies in Zest’s bedroom.

Callie insisted that Marie needed to teach Zest all of their squid sisters dance routines. “Maybe she can become the third squid sister!” It was a fun bonding experience.

Zest also learned to play the guitar, she’s really good at it.

A while back I was working on my own concept for a legends zygarde game, well looks like that’s all going out the window now with the announcement of Pokemon Legends Z-A. I’m super hyped to go back to Kalos!

I figured I should post my old concept for the starters for this

Kalosian Meganium, grass/fairy, Based off of royality.

Kalosian Emboar, fire/steel. Based off of knights.

And Kalosian Primarina, water/psychic. Based off of a court jester.

They would also have mega evolutions but I never got around to making those, maybe one day I’ll make em. Who knows…

I am mega hyped for the paper Mario the thousand year door remake next year, and was feeling nostalgic about some old ideas I had as a kid for my own paper Mario party member OCs, so for my final drawing of 2023 I went and made them!

Goomdrews the goomba, Kabe the bob-omb and his pet chain chomp Boomer, Krash the koopa, Momiji the ninji, Norris the cleft, Stella the luma, and Quarry the clubba.
