To all my American Mutuals. Yes, its really fucking hard and demoralising when you have someone like Orange Man ™️ in charge. A man who constantly undermines your existence, belittles people like you or just straight up takes away your rights. It fucking sucks, and it makes me so angry for you.

But please remember, this does not define you. It does not define who you are, it does not define what actions you take, it doesn't define how you want to live your life. You are valid, you are seen (even if it doesn't feel like it, I see you), you are valuable. The only person who gets to tell you who you are and what you do, is yourself. No one else has that privilege.

Keep fighting for what you believe in, keep going to pride and protesting to protect abortion and contraceptive rights, keep campaigning for equality and signing petitions to help, protect and save the marginalised. If you can, colunterr with, donate and support charities that work to undo the shit Orange Man ™️ is doing. Even just talking to your friends who are upset about this and encouraging them, reassuring them you're there, will help. Smiling at people, volunteering. Despite who your president is, you can still make a difference, you can still do a whole fucking load of good and Orange Man ™️ can't stop you.

Please, you are not alone. There are millions of other people in your country and all over the world that stand with you. Its fucking hard, but you are not on your own, you will get there. We will.
