At Choco's age he has become a bit carefree, happy to come home and be with his father. Meanwhile Cacao is more worried about his son as he is at a stage of increased fragility and vulnerability (also regretting not having been in his son's life enough)

3am thoughts about Tang Sanzang here we go

Tripitaka definitely had some sort of anxiety disorder. If he didn't have one before the journey (even that's debatable with witnessing someone having their heart cut out and his mom committing suicide all before he's 20) he sure as hell developed one during it.

Imagine having your life consistently threatened by demons who want to kill and eat you, and even sometimes humans who want you dead for one reason or another. And on top of that, you have three demon disciples (who, granted, are nicer than they were before), one of which almost killed you twice and has resorted to murder multiple times. And you probably haven't even heard of demons existing before going on this dangerous journey that was predestined because you happen to be a reincarnation of some important guy. And it's predetermined that you have to go through 81 ordeals to prove you're worthy.

I would be crying every time something minorly inconvenient happened to me too.

Meet Tang Sanzang! The Scripture Pilgrim himself! I am planning to make the entire party, he is my human starter size to base the others on. I am so happy with how he turned out and couldn't wait to share

I have gotten really into the Journey to the West, but @tuima11 's fics pushed me into creating new patterns. Definitely recommend reading if you want some good found family feels for the pilgrims!!

I haven't played Tower of Adventures but Candy Drop Cookie always reminded me of Sanzang from Journey to the West so have this au(?) ft. Peach Cookie 😼

Silent salt could be tougher on them because they made them from their own dough so silent salt has very high expectations

Oh yeah, they are hilarious together in book. Personally, I enjoy them in any version/vision from master/student to lovers, platonic and etc etc, if at the end of the day they still will have good relationship between each other!

If you didn't read a book and don't really understand why people ship them together then...allow me to show you, literally one of the gayest scene in my entire life (and it's like just one from many ones)
