Green Velvet - Lofoten Islands, 2025
Since one or several photos never seem to be enough, here’s another shot from the Aurora display in Lofoten back in February.
This was shot again at Haukland Beach, which is just a short drive from Lenkens. Even before reaching our destination, it was possible to see the lights through the windows of the car. Not long after setting up the camera on the tripods, the Aurora exploded into a breathtaking display, painting the sky in green and red.

legitimately my first feminist awakening as a ten year old child was realizing that girls were expected to respect “boy stuff” but boys were never expected to respect “girl stuff”

Performative feminism is a most annoying aspect of our times.

"[T]he flight served as a kind of perverse funeral for the America that once enabled both scientific advancement and feminist progress – a spectacle that mocked these aspirations by appropriating them for such an indulgent and morally hollow purpose."
