Yokoo Adam

YOKOO ADAM is a Japanese singer songwriter from Tokyo writing and performing dreamy and psychedelic healing pop music.

He is also a member of the garage rock band “Bokura”, ”Psychedelic Docyu" and "Yokoo Adam Land2, playing guitar.

In 1989 he started his music career as a member of the garage punk band “The Chirorlans.“

From 1990 he started making a variety of experimental pop music under the name of “Tamastar”.

Since 2000 he has dedicated himself to theater-related works influenced by the spiritual teachings of Eurythmie and Anthroposophy founded by Rudolf Steiner.

In 2015 he produced solo works on stage entitled “A Golden Fruit” and in 2016 “A Celestial White Thread”.

Since 2020 he has been working on a solo project “YOKOO ADAM” as a singer songwriter.

横尾アダム　

89年よりガレージパンクバンド、ザ・チロリアンズとして活動。その後、放浪。90年代からはTAMASTAR名義でエクスペリメンタル・ポップでエレクトロニカな楽曲を数多く制作。映像、舞台等の音楽制作にも関わる。

2000年代、ルドルフ・シュタイナーの人智学、オイリュトミーの研究と舞台活動に専念。ソロ舞台作品「金色果実」（2015）「天の白糸」(2016)を上演。

2020年からは、YOKOO ADAM名義でソロ活動を開始。牧歌的でドリーミーな”夢うつつな世界”を作詞作曲している。
