why can't people ship luz/hunter? i don't ship it, but i don't understand why so many people hate it. it seems kinda biphobic to say you can't ship luz with male characters. she's bi, so this is erasing her attraction to men. /gen

it is our personal request that lu/nter shippers not interact with our blog. i'm not going to argue about the ship too much since i've done plenty of that arguing on my main account and this blog is just for fun, but i would like to say it isn't biphobic to dislike a ship with an uncomfortable age and power gap (hunter being 16 + the leader of the emperor's coven vs luz who is 14 and vulnerable under the empire. by the way 14 and 16 is a big gap in maturity, take it from someone currently in high school).

notice how not once did i or any of the other mods say that you can't ship luz with a man. we are just uncomfortable with that particular ship. i personally don't like shipping luz with anyone besides amity and it's maybe slightly uncomfortable for me to see someone ship luz with a guy when lumity is already canon (which seeing 2 girls date on disney channel is a big deal, also explaining why some people feel offended when people ignore that in favor of lu/nter), but if luz had a love interest/someone shipped her with someone who was her age and a boy i would have no issue with it. luz is no more or less bisexual based on who she dates, but the fact is having a wlw couple in a cartoon is a big deal so you can see why some sapphics may feel offended by people ignoring that, especially when it's with someone who has such a power imbalance with her.

i would once again like to reiterate this blog is just for fun and we just don't really want lu/nter shippers interacting. we are perfectly within our rights to put lu/nters dni on our blog and it isn't biphobic to do so.

sorry if there was any misunderstanding in our intentions with that, i'm clearing that up right now
