They both left the house.
“Hanaka can you load up the gps on your phone I’ll drive.'' Hanaka nodded and typed up the address on her phone. It was a 20 minute drive that felt like hours of silence. Soon they finally arrived. Miski was unsure she looked around then got out of the car.
“Come on Hanaka. If we don’t hurry; It’s gonna turn into a living hell” Hanaka groaned and got out.
“My life’s already a living hell.'' They both walked through the sticks and dirt to reach the school. It was burned down so half of the school was gone; There was a big gaping hole with stairs at the left side, they went through there. As soon as they went in, a chill went through their spine.
“Holy fuck.. What are we even looking for?” Hanaka said. Miski was thinking really hard for her dreams of Emi until she thought of something.
“Room 307.” Miski uttered.
“What?” Hanaka looked at her in confusion.
“We’re going to room 307, that's what my dream said.” Miski looked to Hanaka
“Jeez Miski, you’re creeping me out. Tsk let’s just go.” Hanaka sighed, they both walked the session of stairs with a feel of eyes staring at them. Miski and Hanaka walk up the stairs trying not to slip through the holes.
“So what floor is 307 on?! My legs hurt already!'' Miski stopped. she tried to remember how many stairs she walked before she got the door, she looked down then looked right.
“Here.” Miski says; they walk into the creepy dark hallway that was practically black from it being burned.
“Gosh this place smells..” Hanaka says, still following Mitski. They reach the room and go inside. Mitski looks around
“Looks just like my dream” Mitski says with a serious tone.
“Whatever! Let’s just hurry and get out of this creepy place.” Hanaka says and walks into a small room with books inside,
She turns on a light and chuckles “Hey! Look! This light still works!” she says smirking, “Mhm~..” Miski says distractedly looking for anything that can help in the room; After a few minutes of searching, Miski gets frustrated. “Ugh, Nothing!” She quickly gets up frustrated but startled by what happens next. “Holy shit.” She said with wide eyes. Hanaka looked at Miski, confused “I saw Emi..” Miski said horrified, Hanaka's expression changed. “Miski what the fuck do you mean. Emi is dead! You need to get over her.'' Hanaka yells, “No.. I saw her.” Hanaka gets even more pissed, “I swear to god Miski! If this is some prank, I’m out of here.” Miski looks concerned but changes her expression, “You know what, It’s fine. I'm probably just seeing things” Hanaka rolls her eyes, “Yeah, you probably are! Anyways, I found something.” Miski gets excited, “Huh? Where!?” Miski runs over to Hanaka, “Nothing much, just a yearbook, but I think it belongs to Emi?” Hanaka explains, Miski gets confused, “What? Why would Emi leave her yearbook here though?” “Why are you asking me?” Hanaka says. They flipped through the pages but had stopped, shocked when they saw themselves, “What..” Miski says, shocked and confused. Scribbles and X’s all over them, It became a loud silence until Hanaka spoke, “Well I mean, she hates us so..”, Hanaka was about to say something else until Miski spoke again, with a different tone. “Yeah! and you made her hate us!” Miski said, Hanaka was shocked by the sudden change, “Look, I’m sorry okay. I never meant for that to happen""Yeah, sure you didn’t Hanaka! you forced me to stop being friends with Emi!”, the two started arguing. “I didn’t force you!” Hanaka yelled back. “You did! if it weren’t for you. Emi would still be here right now!” Miskis' face turned from furious to a sad face with salty tears. It was obvious Hanaka felt bad but, the words she was saying made it seem like she didn’t. “Whatever. I’m going home. My daughters probably crying.”, Hanaka started walking away, until Mitski spoke, “I’ll drive you home” Miski said while wiping her tears, but Hanaka refused, “It’s fine,” but Miski kept insisting “Hanaka come on. It’s night and the walk is an hour long.”. Hanaka sighed, “Fine.” They both walk out and get into the car. The whole car ride was filled with silence and the car radio. Once they arrived at Hanakas house, Hanaka slammed the door and walked away. Miski stared at the house for a minute then drove away.

It was close to their graduation when Miski got a dream about Emi killing herself. Miski woke up horrified and felt guilty, so she tried calling Emi’s home phone hoping Emi would pick up because Emi didn’t have a phone. Emi’s mom picks up,
“Hello.” Miski noticed it was her mom who was on the phone and became even more worried.
“Miss Lee!.. could you please put Emi on the phone?'' As soon as Emi’s mom heard Miskis' voice her mood shifted. She started yelling and crying over the phone.
“WHAT HAPPENED TO EMI! I KNOW YOU'RE THE REASON BEHIND THIS! WHERE IS SHE. WHAT DID YOU DO?” Miski was dumbfounded.
“Huh?..'' She could hear Emi’s dads voice of him comforting Emi’s mom.
“Excuse me ma’am, are you okay?” Miski asked. Emi’s mom's cold voice responds.
“Emi is missing. You're the reason behind this. I read her diary. Her room is covered in blood but she’s NOWHERE. WHAT DID YOU DO YOU FUCKING LITTLE—” Emis dad hung up. Miski covered her mouth in shock. After that incident Miski started getting hallucinations and dreams about clues where Emi is; They were all bad nightmares. Miski was losing sleep and getting eye bags just like Emi, and she kept getting the horrible nightmares about Emi’s missing posters. She was just a senior and she was too scared to go into the real world and find a missing person.
. . .
Fast forward they are in their 20’s; Miski is slowly going crazy. She is working at a low paying gas station and is still having horrific dreams. One night Miski snaps; She decides that she’s gonna find Emi, and clear all crosses with Emis family. Miski would try to remember the dreams that Miski would get. They were so vivid but she just couldn’t remember.. she was stuck. She was trying to think in the past of who can help solve this case, then, she had a thought; She dashed to her storage box with all the items from senior year that she destroyed while going crazy. She grabs her year book and flips the pages crazed, she stops at her old class. She puts her finger on Hanaka’s name, she then grabs her phone and calls the number that was below it. The phone was ringing; it felt like years of ringing. until she hears a slant voice.
“Hello..?” Miski said, and heard baby cries in the background.
“Is this Hanaka Aki? I am Miski Shobi from senior year, you are my main suspect of what happened to Emi Lee." Hanaka seemed shocked over the phone.
“E-Emi?” Hanaka suddenly put the phone closer to her mouth.
“Listen Miski, let it go. The cops already tried searching for Emi years ago, they even raided my house! What are you a cop?!" Miski sighed,
“Listen, it isn’t your choice to help me, you’re gonna do it.”
“Or what?” Hanaka asked angrily, Miski didn’t want to point it out but after a pause she said
“You don’t want that baby of yours to grow up and find out you're a suspect for a missing person, do you?” Hanaka sighed.
“You’ve gone smarter huh? Fine, meet at 710 Namaro Street. We can talk.”
Hanaka hung up, and Miski knew she was gonna do a good thing. Miski walked out of her upstairs apartment in the middle of day and hurried into her car heading for the address. When she arrived she noticed the house was old, and filled with a bunch of gangsters around it. It wasn’t safe for a mom and her child. Miski rang the doorbell of the almost broken door; After many minutes of tapping her feet, Hanaka opened the door. She still looked the same, a bit plumper than before with her still blonde hair just her black roots peeking out; though you could see they were in their twenties by her smooth tanned skin, it was obvious she still favored cropped shirts that showed a bit of her cleavage. As she wore a cropped white spaghetti strapped tank-top and short shorts . As Miski stepped in, she noticed a strong smell of alcohol running through the room. Miski cringed but still kept her composure. Hanakas place was a dump!
“I just put the kid to sleep. come into the living room.'' Miski followed Hanaka, a trail of beer cans, and alcohol bottles dumped on the floor of the hall. Hanaka slumped down on the couch and tossed a newspaper to Miski; It was a newspaper from years ago when they graduated. The newspaper had words of threats and insults written in sharpie all over it filled with cigarette burns. Miski noticed the newspaper was about their highschool; it burned to the ground a year after they graduated.
“I don't know how that helps but it might have a link, Miss Detective” Hanaka mocked Mitski while sipping another can of beer. Miski looked at the newspaper closely…
“We’re going there.” Hanaka spit out some of her beer onto her chin.
“Huh?! I'm not going to a burned down abandoned school! Especially not my highschool.” Miski looked at Hanaka
“Like i said, you're doing it.'' Miski said sternly. Hanaka went silent for a moment then sighed
“If we get caught by the cops, I'm running.'' Miski chuckled.
“Just get ready, we leave at 5.” Hanaka got up and went upstairs to change clothes—Miski got up from Hanakas couch— looking around with her hands in her black jacket.
“Damn.. I guess people really do change. This is not a good place for a child growing up.” Hanaka’s house was like a trash can, mold, spiderwebs, cracks in the wall and floor. Miski was too busy looking around and didn’t notice Hanaka standing in front of her.
“Hey, are we going or not?!” Miski jumped back into reality
“Yeah…Get in the car”

Flower Boy Teaser!
This is just a teaser of the series! - Michi
WC: 590
Pitter, patter. The sound of soft long streams of water seeping down from the eaves of the roof. Water spatters across the window. A chilly feeling emits around the shop.
drip drop...
A drop of rain, plop, plop, plop. Hazel’s head nods awake, feeling drowsy. Thick long eyelashes batter gently as he awakens. He looks ahead at an empty vase in front of him, right on the table. He was setting up a vase as an order. Tulips, carnations, and Gerbera daises. Freshly cut and neatened up. The sound of rain fills his ears, nothing else. Such a quiet day. He slowly moves his droopy head to the side to look outside the window. His blurry vision clears, and the sight of water droplets slide down the window and disappear into nothingness once reaching the sill of the window. Slowly he brings his eyes up to watch the flowers droop, moisture dripping from its seams. A sigh leaves his mouth.
Ready to get back to work, he prepares. Stretching briefly feeling stiff, from what it seems he fell asleep sitting up? Standing up from his chair he swiftly grabs the vase and makes his way to a nearby sink in the flower shop. Filling it up with lukewarm water. Only filling it up to a third of the vase's size he shuts off the running water, leisurely walks back to the counter, and huffs back into his chair. His eyes heavy and body lazy, he sloppily removes the rubberband off of the tightly enclosed flowers grabs some shrubs from the collection behind him, and starts to assort the flowers. Carnations first, daises next add the shrubs and tulips together. Before quickly fastening a pretty ribbon, thick and shiny. The color being a baby green. sliding a handwritten note from the customer. Apparently, these flowers are meant for an anniversary, for a lover. Hazel lets out a long and tired shrug. "I'd rather sleep outside on the street than be stuck looking at these cheesy notes all day." Hazel clicks his tongue. Letting his head slam into the table, sulking. "Home school your child, it'll be fine they said, THEN WHY DO I FEEL SO DEPRIVED!" Hazel wriggles around feeling helpless, softly banging his head against the tabletop, the silence of the shop was slowly driving him insane. As much as Hazel didn't like talking to people as it felt like a waste of energy, he wanted to have someone to talk to, or at least listen to. All he's really ever done was sit here in this flower shop ever since he was young. A family-owned flower shop, his mother being a florist and his father a botanist.
Rocking himself back and forth, he's been wanting to ask if he can go to the high school nearby, and sure he's heard from his cousins is an honest hell hole, and feels like some sort of social experiment where although you are going through changes but that doesn't matter because you also have to learn, study, and keep up with the system or else you have less of a chance in succeeding in life but, at this point in hazel's life, he needed some chaos where else is better to be able to experience such hellish brain crushing, heart-stopping, ball-crushing, embarrassment and harassment than your local public school. Or even worse your local private school holds some of the worst people you could ever meet but at least their kind of fine, or are they? But anywho, who gave a fuck? Not Hazel.

The sound of slaps could be heard, and the sound of cries could be heard. but all was ignored with no problem, it was just another day, right?
.....
“Jesus! Do you ever shut up!” Another slap to the face Emi went silent, she was crying. A laugh came out,
“Jeez! You really do listen, like a little doggy~” Hanaka Aki was the girl hitting Emi, she had been bullying her ever since Emi came to school. Her dyed blonde hair, cute make-up, fake tan, and her curvy body made her popular along with her best friend Midori. The two bullied Emi because of her quiet personality.
“Sit doggy! Sit!” Said Hanaka in a cutesy voice as she bent her knees slightly, her best friend turned to them and laughed. She’d been doing her makeup beside them; she ever-so-slightly bent forward making sure to arch her back. Although nobody had been looking, it still made her feel good. She looked back at her best friend as she teased Emi—moving her hand away from her eyelids—she held the black mascara in one hand and the lid in her other. She stared at the helpless Emi, and didn’t feel an inch of remorse…it made Emi feel even more hopeless to know that Midori was there and didn’t do anything, but what would she do? She was like a slave to Hanaka. She stayed silent crying, her legs still sore from their last beating.
“I said sit bitch!” Slam—Down she went onto the floor, her legs aching.
“P-please Hanaka.. Mitski is waiting for me..” Emi said pleading with her hands covering her head.
“Mitski? Your little friend? Heh trust me Emi.. she’s not your friend at least.. in a few years from now. I’ll make sure of it, with how dumb she is I can probably just make up a lie about you and she’ll believe it!” She rolled her eyes just imagining how pathetic people could be; the corner of her pale pink lips turned up and her eyes went dark like nothing was there but evilness. Her smirk was what Emi hated the most.
“What's wrong Emi? Don’t want to lose your best friend!” Midori giggled; adding on to Emi’s torture. Hanaka looked back at Emi,
“What's wrong? Hm?” Hanaka teased,
“S-shut up.” Emi said with water flooding her eyes.
“Oh?” Hanaka’s eyes lit up due to Emi’s sudden rage
“Don’t you ever talk about Mitski like that—”Slap
“Dogs don’t speak..” Hanaka straightened her posture—looking down at her— it was as if Hanaka’s goal was to show Emi that she was inferior to her. That Emi was a dog and Hanaka; it’s owner.
“Midori, hand me the bucket” Her eyes went cold and her fingers flexed into the curl of fist of rage.
“H-huh! The one for the mop?..” Midori stared confused.
“Yes bitch! Did I fucking stutter?” Impatient—Hanaka yelled—her head moving slightly to the left, making sure not to move away from her prey. Her yelling scared Midori and like always; she listened.
“Maybe this will make you fucking listen..” splash—Emi ended up leaving the bathroom, but with a headache, wet clothes, and a worried Mitski. Mitski didn’t know that Emi had been bullied, she always made excuses. It continued like that.. until high school, it only got worse.
As Mitski walked out of the stall; she saw one of the popular girls. She quickly rushed to the sink and avoided making eye contact with the school’s celebrities. As she knocked the knob up to turn on the water—the knownface spoke to her
“I like your hair, it suits your face.” She looked at Mitski as they both washed their hands.
“Oh. Thank you!” Mitski smiled shyly as she tilted her head and looked away, blushing; she was curious if she was being serious. Why would a beautiful girl—like her—compliment a below average girl like her?!
“Do you get it done at a salon? Which one is it?” She smirked.
“Oh no.. I wish I was that rich!” Mitski chuckled.
“I’m Hanaka.. and you’re Mitski?” Mitski was shocked that she even knew who she was, she was popular yeah but only in her math class!
“Y-you know my name.” Mitski's eyes widened as she turned off the sink.
“Of course I do! I— know your friend, Emi.” Hanaka said getting awkwardly quieter at the name Emi. As if she was grossed out just by thinking about her.
“Oh my friend Emi oh yeah—”
“Yeah yeah. Hey, how about we talk later.” She said as she grabbed Mitski’s phone from her counter and put her number in through the emergency dial. Through that, they started to talk more and more and Mitski started to become one of Hanaka’s slaves. Soon she began hanging out with Hanaka more than Emi as Emi didn’t want to hang out with Hanaka—obviously..
a week later.
“Emi!” Mitski ran into the room sliding the door open.
“Mitski! You—came..” Behind Mitski was a familiar figure smiling and waving at Emi—mischievously—Hanaka. Suddenly Emi became uneasy; as she and Hanaka stared At each other with pure hatred displayed in different ways. Hanaka stared at her—still smiling—excited at seeing Emi mad. Emi staring at Hanaka wide eyed with her eyebrows frowned along with her mouth; like she was eyeing her to not even dare. The staring contest stopped; advancing their attention to Mitski.
“Emi! I wanted to introduce you to my friend, Hanaka!” Mitski smiled from ear to ear; clueless to the rivalry.
“I—.. I have to go.” Emi’s breathing was shaky hearing Mitski call her Hanaka; a ‘friend’—she forced out a breath— She had difficulty forming words right as her eyes started to fill with tears.
“What? So soon?” Mitski said, confused. Before she noticed Emis eyes; She was pushed out of the way as Emi ran, but she did notice Hanaka’s eyes. They were filled with water, but they were fake. Hanaka was good at fake crying, she could fake cry anywhere and anytime. She needed this ability if she wanted to get her way.
“H-Hanaka! Are you okay?” Mitski asked.
“I don’t think she likes me..” Hanaka said as she wiped away her tears, carefully trying not to ruin her makeup.
“No! Emis not like that, she probably had—"
"Yes she is! That bitch is a piece of shit—sorry..” Hanaka stopped herself but Mitski already heard and was shocked at Hanakas response.
“Did something happen between you two?..” Mitski asked.
“A lot.. she’s just a bit mean and cold towards me! For no reason!” A cute pouting face formed on Hanaka, eyes still watery. That was Mitski’s first incident where Hanaka manipulated her. Hanaka made Mitski think she was some type of Angel who did no wrong. She would cry and pout,
“Mitski! Mitski! Emi is so mean!”
“I would never do that! I’m so nice!” When Emi tried to tell Mitski that she was actually a backstabbing snake; Mitski didn’t believe her and thought that Emi was lying.. Which shattered Emi, she knew it was already over the moment
“Hanaka would never do that? She's so nice” came out of Mitski’s mouth, Hanaka already had full control over her. It became even more clear when Mitski couldn’t even look Emi in the eye. She would always look down and was shaking all the time, like a scaredy-cat…
. . .
As Emi arrived at her home, she read her parents note on the table. “Me and your father are working late tonight” again after again, Emis parents would do overtime and they would arrive late. They weren’t rich, they spent all their money on the nice house and to get food on the table. Mitski’s parents would help from time to time as Mitskis mom was a doctor and her father a businessman. The Lee family was so poor they could barely pay for rent sometimes; so Emi saved up to help her parents. Although it never gave much; she would go on walks searching for volunteering jobs on the weekendsrv. She sighed and went up stairs to put her school bag in her room, but before she could go in. She stopped as she heard giggles coming from her room.. She thought she was dreaming. She quickly opened the door, she will forever regret that. Hanaka and Midori were there..
“How—How the hell did you get in my house! Are you insane!” Emi stepped back—with two of her worst nightmares being in her house—Hanaka and Midori— she felt like a tiny kitten in front of two massive tigers that were ready to pounce on her at any moment.
“Oh shit! I haven’t heard her this mad in a while!” Midori snorted, covering her mouth with her hand; which had blue acrylic duck shaped nails with blue diamond gems on her index and ring finger.
“Well Emi.. we got help from your friend! Or.. our friend!” Hanaka giggled, then Emis eyes paneled to Mitski. Who looked to the ground shamed
“Mitski.. you— you helped them?” Mitski was too ashamed to even look at Emi. She felt so guilty obviously. Even though they weren’t friends anymore; she felt like she had just betrayed her best friend.
“Emi I’m sorry, they forced—”
“Mitski, whose side are you on?” Hanaka asked in a cold tone.
“Yours.. Hanaka.” Mitski mumbled.
“Good..” Hanaka said to Mitski as if she was some sort of dog.
“Emi~ I looked through your room!” Suddenly Emi froze when she saw her baby pink piggy bank which she had ever since she was little; she had been using it to save up for college.
“Give it back!” She ran to her but she was too late— as soon as Hanaka saw Emi trying to retrieve her money— she held it up high above her head
“Hanaka, give it back now! You’re rich, you don’t need that!” Emi frustratedly shouted at her; her eyes widened staring directly at Hanaka’s. She was done letting Hanaka step all over her. She had gone too far;going into her safe space and messing with her things.
“Fine, I’ll give it back. But you have to beg for it first!” Hanaka said smirking
“Oo! Maybe I can post it on my Blog!” Midori said as she looked away from her phone. didn’t know what to do, if a video of her was posted she would for sure be a laughing stock.
“Or.. I found this in your room..” Hanaka explained as she knocked down an ironing tool. Emi underestimated what Hanaka was going to come up with. She knew exactly what Hanaka was talking about. She did this before but.. Emi didn’t think she would dare to do it again. She was stuck.
“Wait, Hanaka! What are you going to do!” Mitski yelled, worried. She didn’t know Hanaka would be this brutal.
“Let her see if the iron is hot enough.” Hanaka narrowed her eyes—a threatening look— not looking away from Emi who was breathing shakily in fear.. She didn’t know what to do. She felt a droplet fall onto her cheek.
“What happened Emi?! Earlier you were ordering me as if you thought I would actually listen to somebody as pathetic as you?” Hanaka teased; as she had a playful grin on her face. Emi simply looked down…knowing she could not get out of this.
“Why…Why do you do this to me?” Emi cried tears of frustration; yet she kept it all in. She clenched her hand into a fist.
“What did I do—for you to act so cold towards me!?” Emi suddenly yelled at the three of them. Everyone was quiet…even Midori and Hanaka.
“Why won’t you answer me, huh?!” Emi yelled in despair—dropping to her knees and crying into her hands. Suddenly Hanaka took a step closer causing Emi to revert her gaze up at her.
“It's because I know I can do whatever I want with you; and nothing will happen to me.” Hanaka implied—coldly—she stood with her head held high and her eyes dark; looking down at Emi. All Emi could do was cry…
“What is wrong with you! I— I need that money! Please just give it back!” Came out from the hallways on peoples phones as they whispered and stared at Emi.
“Jeez, she’s so desperate Haha!” One girl said, showing the phone to her friend.
“Maybe she needs the money for makeup. Look at her,” another said giggling. As Emi expected, she was the talk of the school and of course everyone took Hanaka’s side. She would think that Mitski would leave Hanaka now that she showed her true colors but no.. I guess she was just too far deep. Emi couldn’t escape Hanaka either though, she would go on runs to feel better, many get another gig for money, maybe to just avoid them but that didn’t stop them as Midori would take photos and videos of her captioning it as; “The pig finally is doing exercise!” or “Loser finally goes out of the room LOL!” Then she would try to not go out at all, staying in her room all day not even eating, but that didn’t make her feel better as she was just seen as lazy to her mom. She would cry and cry then one day Emi just stopped showing emotion. She was done with everything, but at least her money being taken, her being hit, and teased becoming less and less. She had wondered who Hanaka's new toy was and then one day; She’d found out. One faithful day when Emi was redoing her test—as Hanaka had ripped her old one. Mitski had come running up to her, grabbing her hands tightly; She cried out.
“Emi! I know this is random and you probably don’t want to talk to me but— I’m sorry! I’m sorry for everything! Graduation is coming soon and.. I don’t want to end the year off bad even though it will since you probably hate me! I— I just..can’t..nevermind! I’m just sorry and please don’t tell Hanaka what I told you! I have to go now!” With that she ran out of the classroom. Emi stayed for a bit then she heard Hanaka yelling at Mitski. Confused, she peeked her head out.
“Mitski! Are you actually stupid! I can’t go home with a fucking B on the test! Do you know what my mom will think?” Hanaka yelled at her holding up her test
“I’m sorry Hanaka—”
“Do you know how easily I can destroy you Mitski? You wanna end up just like Emi? Huh!” Hanaka cut off Mitski.
“Hanaka, what's your deal with Emi! She did nothing to you!” Mitski yelled back. Hanaka stared at her for a minute then suddenly her eyes went dark.
“Everything..” Hanaka said quietly. Emi didn’t know what to think, so she simply ran away before they could see her. The truth behind ‘everything’ was that Hanaka was simply jealous, at the time Midori wasn’t friends with her so she only had Mitski, everything was secretly going downhill for everyone and it would just get worse for all of them from there.
